Lovely house and setting.
Lovely house and setting. Disappointed with duvets, pillows etc crammed down side of wardrobes. Some windows couldn’t be opened. Just a few tweaks would make it a 10. Had a great time though.

The Stationmasters house is comfortable, spacious in a beautiful setting. The only downside is the traffic noise especially in the two upstairs bedrooms, earplugs would be recommended although my wife wasn't too troubled by the traffic and also there wasn't a frying pan so no eggs and bacon at breakfast . If you have clear skies the stars above are fabulous, no light pollution. The Covid restrictions played a significant effect on our stay , obviously not the fault of the Llangolen Railway. On the whole I would recommend a stay at the Stationmasters house. Keith.

This is in a great location and the steam trains are a wonderful bonus. The accommodation is in a perfect location. This was our third visit and we would definitely go back. Our only comments would be that the accommodation is a bit tired and in need of some TLC. We appreciate we were visiting at the end of the season and understand that the matter is to be addressed.

What a location! And a variety of steam/diesel trains running past during most days was the icing on the cake for me. The inclusive travel pass was well utilised. Exceedingly comfortable accomodation with everything we needed. LLangollen within walking distance for supplies/eateries - the car never moved all week! Railway staff were warm and friendly, as were most locals we spoke to.

Everything was wonderful, apart from parking the actual parking for one car is ok but found that a lack of no parking sign or residents only sign made issues .We took the car out after managing to shut the gates behind us but someone opened them again and parked their car so we could not park anywhere ,the hotel car park is a way and i think you should not have to park elsewhere ,so we did not take the car out again for fear of not being able to park next to the house ,we spent most of our time on the train but very enjoyable week the station staff were Very Nice a great cup of tea or coffee and lots to eat ,i will book again thank you.Marilyn from Kent .
