We had a fantastic time at burnfoot of cluden what an amazing property and great location.
We had a fantastic time at burnfoot of cluden what an amazing property and great location. We loved the aga cooking - need to get one now - and the house was home from home. A few issues: Each guest was only allocated one towel per person mon-friday. Considering we had to be out by 10.00am for a 'deep clean' there were a million spiders and cobwebs and balloons left from the previous guests. Apart from that, we loved it and WILL be returning! thank you to Christine who was really lovely and welcoming

Our weeks holiday was enjoyable by all.
Our weeks holiday was enjoyable by all. The house had everything needed for all age groups.
The gardens and beautiful scenery were perfect. Lovely country walks in Autumn weather .
Coast was just a small car ride away for a change of scenery.
Local super markets Tesco's and Aldi just 5 min car ride.
Eating out for a change was a good selection of family restaurants.
There was 7 of us in the party including 2 small dogs and there was ample space for all of us.
We want to thank Christine for a lovely clean and beautiful kept home and a lovely surprise of refreshments and Fresh cut flowers that gave our arrival a special home from home welcome.

The house is in a fantastic location, surrounded by fields and the river a lovely back drop. It was only a short drive from Dumfries to stock up at supermarkets.
The house itself is very large and a great location for large groups of people. My favourite room was the kitchen with the warm aga and large table.
Some rooms in the house were quite tired looking and could do with some TLC.

Wonderful holiday! We had a large family get together and Burnfoot Of Cluden was just ideal! Lovely house with great accommodation over three floors. Really well equipped with everything a big group could need. Beautifully clean and tidy. We loved the garden, the kids had great fun on the swings, playing on the grass and we all enjoyed the path along the river. We also loved the butterflies in the walled garden. Great activities nearby, too many to fit into one week! We loved Cream O Galloway, Caeverlock Castle and Dunscone.

Great cottage for a gathering or party. The house is very old but adequately equipped and furnished. I would say this is 3* and not 4* as advertised
