Paradise by the Beach
Beautiful home right on the water. We flew in to LAX and were there in 10 min. Our son goes to USC and it was easy for him to come stay with us each night and get to classes next morning. The beach is beautiful, sunsets incredible. Owner incredibly nice and checked in several times to see if we needed anything. Definitely going back!!!!

A great stay in Playa Del Rey!
We really enjoyed our stay! A perfect little spot, close to the airport and and close to some of the best areas in LA. Right on the beach with a handful of volleyball nets right in front. Lisa was a great host and was extremely helpful, answering all our questions. We would love to come back!

Be on the beach and be centrally located.
Great property on the beach and in the middle of everything. Walk to restaurants and shops. Scooter to Marina Del Rey and beyond. Lisa, the property owner, is amazing. Slight downside to property location is the proximity to the airport. We are from a very rural location with no traffic or noise so the sound of the planes took so getting to used to but by the end of the week we barely noticed.

Absolutely Amazing
The place was exceptionally clean, customer service (Lisa) was outstanding; best vacation ever. From the super soft sheets on comfy beds, to the beach toys for kids with chairs for adults (no need to bring your own--save packing); just a wonderful vacation. We will definitely be back. Lisa makes it feel like home!

Great Vacation Spot!
Lisa was an amazing host from the moment that I booked her condo for a short getaway vacation. Her customer service was above and beyond from what I have experienced with other rental properties. The house/location was perfect for a great beach weekend. We strolled the boardwalk and woke up to volley ball matches right outside our windows on the beach. The location was walkable to restaurants and night life and presented a safe family friendly vibe. I am already planning another trip in future.

A Little Beach get away
Amazing little get away, condo is nice and open. Very clean. Patio is nice place to relax, watch those play volley ball or just take a nap. Beach is very quite, not a lot of traffic. Owner is awesome, helps or gets you anything you may need. Only thing it lacked was a broom to clean up the sand, but Owner was on it brought us one in no time. Hope to visit again. We had 3 adults and 3 kids. never felt crowded or in each others way. Beds are comfy, which is a huge plus.

Bright and clean and right on the beach
There's nothing like being directly on the beach. Unobstructed views of volleyball games in the foreground, boats sailing by in the background, and bicyclists on the bike path in-between. Breathing in the fresh salty air, hearing the waves crashing on the shore. Playa del Rey is less crowded and far less commercial than nearby Marina del Rey.
Lisa is a great hostess and her rental is clean and comfortable. Bring your own food and there's no reason to leave the beach unless you want to. Great for couples, families, or small groups. Not a place for loud parties, as you are in close proximity to neighboring residences. Very enjoyable and relaxing experience!

Wonderful beachfront location!
On the sand! We loved being right on the beach. The volleyball courts and the bike path were right out the back door. I loved the fact the beach here was almost empty, kind of a rarity in California Playa del Rey had a number of restaurants, bars and coffee shops within walking distance. Venice, Santa Monica and Marina del Rey were also just minutes away. Although we could have spent the whole week at the beach and not gone anywhere.
We flew in from out of state, so I loved the fact it was so close to LAX. When it was time to leave we were at the airport in minutes and didn't have to worry about LA traffic. You will hear jet noise from the airport, but after a few days I hardly noticed it.
The duplex was a nice size for the four of us. Everything was clean and in great condition. We didn't use the kitchen, but it is well stocked if you plan to cook and eat in. It was great to have an off street parking space.
Lisa was easy to work with and very helpful. She checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our stay and was always offering helpful local advice. She let us use her beach chairs and bogey boards. I will definitely stay again when in LA.

One of the nicest places I have ever been to
We stayed at Lisa's place for 3 nights and after arriving we immediately felt at home. The apartment is located in such a great area and you have direct access to the big sandy beach. The water is literally 2 min away from the the patio. Two things that truly stood out where the cleanliness of the apartment and Lisa as the best host you can imagine. She looked after us, provided us with great recommendations and is just the friendliest person. There is a space where you can leave your car and some nice places for having breakfast & dinner nearby.
No question that you will have a great time if you stay at Lisa's place.
Thank you again Lisa for having us!
Julia

Beautiful and relaxing trip
Owner: Lisa was fantastic and extremely responsive! Any question I had she answered, she also suggested many places we would never find out on google. All her advice helped out so much, we even schedule out activies and match it with the days she think will be least busy and I couldn't tell you how smooth that made our trip.
House: The house is gorgeous, it has clean, modern, shabby sleek charm. The house is located right off the beach so it is just foots away from sands, I read a review talking about the sand dune, but I have to say, it really does protect you from the harsh winds from the ocean, after a couple of days I really appreciated the sand dune, also Lisa suggested to get a board and slide down the the kids on the sand dune and omg it was the highlight of the trip for the kids! They wanted to go out every morning to slide down the sand. The only thing I would say is I wish there was handsoap, lol that's all I got since the house was already perfect.
Location: the location was fantastic, footsteps to the beach, the beach is extremely clean, close to a few playground if you have kids, 24 mins to Venice beach, 26 mins to Santa Monica and only 10 mins to Lax!!!!
Just an beautiful house and fantastic location and amazing owner, I will be back for sure!!!

Fun house on the Beach!
Overall very pleasant stay. The place was very comfortable and attractive.
Lisa the owner could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The only unexpected issue was the sand dune which blocked the view of the ocean, and the volley ball players in front of the house. Nevertheless we
enjoyed our daily walks on the beach, and would recommend this house.
