This rental is beautiful and so much fun! The house is full of beautiful and quirky artwork, along with hundreds of books. We had a lot of activities planned for the area, but next time I would be happy just staying in this home, reading all day, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings! Joan and Brian are lovely and very helpful hosts!

The property is impressive and the house is full of interesting antiques and trinkets. Excellent location with a beautiful view. Very quiet and relaxing. Walk in the vineyard was excellent and there was plenty of room. Tough to get rides from town so work that out in advance.

Our group of 9 had a great time. This house was amazing both inside and out. Brian was very easy to work with in answering any questions; and Joan was so gracious to meet us, show us around, and share her home with us. The sunrises were beautiful. Everything that we needed was at the home. The house had plenty of space for our group. We couldn't have selected a better place to enjoy our weekend in Napa. We would definitely recommend this place to others; and if we have the opportunity to return, we would stay here in a heartbeat.

Our group of 10 had an amazing time. The property was stunning and the home fit us perfectly with plenty of extra space. All amenities were amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners at home. Only call out is to make sure all of your transportation (to vineyards/airport) are scheduled in advance, it was difficult to get Uber's to come up the mountain. I highly recommend Platypus tours.

This is not your normal rental property. If you are lucky as we were to stay, you should jump at the opportunity. The photographs, while they are beautiful, do not do her house justice. You are instantly transported to a European villa. Every aspect of the house has a story behind it, and Joan was so gracious to show us around at the start. The house is impeccably clean and leaves you with a real sense of feeling home. Your every need or want is already anticipated before your arrival, and you will find that you are dealing with incredibly generous hosts. Joan renting her little piece of heaven to you is a great act of charity, as you will find it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience rich in culture. My group saw it as the best opportunity for relaxation and healing.

We had a great time at eh home, it was a group of 10. The accommodations are unique, and if you like quirky antiques from all over the world this is your place. I am not saying its rustic, but its rustic chiq. Overall we had a great time, Joan the host was a pleasure to meet and visit with as well upon entry. Be aware, the drive up the mountain will take you a good 15 mins to get to St Helena, and if you think of biking, you better be in Tour d France shape!

The hose was even better than the pictures. Brian & Joan were great hosts, helpful, easy to reach, and friendly. The location and view can't be beat.

Beautiful Eclectic St Helena Vineyard home on Spring Mountain. Wonderful place to spend a Napa vacation with family or friends. House was a bit dated but had so much charm, perfect for our stay.
We enjoyed cooking, relaxing and exploring the property. The house is surrounded by delicious wineries that are steps away!
Joan and Brian were a pleasure to work with and we recommend this beautiful property.

We had a great stay up on top of Spring Mountain for my 50th birthday celebration. I would highly recommend this property, would love to go back when it's warmer and check everything out then as well!

The property is magnificent -- with its mountain-top setting and beautiful vineyard. The drive up and down the mountain can be a bit of a challenge in bad weather, but it's worth it for the serene setting. The house is chock-full of interesting antiques, books, and collections. We enjoyed building crackling fires in the dining room and family room fireplaces and walking through the grounds and vineyard. Our favorite vineyard visit was at a neighboring vineyard, Pride Mountain, that is about 5 minutes away and not to be missed! The property owner, Joan, and her son, Brian, could not have been more gracious and helpful -- before and during our stay.

What a great property! Views are fantastic and the house is quite charming. Did not disappoint.

Very friendly and helpful owners. The home is spacious and full of art and books. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed the ability to see both the sunrise from the back of the home and the sunset from the front of the home. The drive up and down Spring Mountain Road is interesting as it is very steep and curvy, but there are many wineries along Spring Mountain Rd that are well worth a visit. We enjoyed our stay.

Brian and Joan were wonderful in their communication as I was planning this family vacation. Fantastic location and views. The highlights were our evening dinner meals served outside and of course the pool which we all enjoyed!

We had a fantastic time! The property was beautiful with every amenity we could have wanted/needed. The backyard is spectacular, and we loved the garden and fruit trees. The starry skies were gorgeous from the top of the mountain! It is quite a drive up and down the mountain which makes the location a bit inconvenient, but we felt it was totally worth it for the benefits and views the property offered.

When I first saw this property, we were looking forward to great views, peaceful landscapes, good food and wine and a comfortable home. Our experience with the visit was awesome: walking within vineyards, looking at the unbelievable items in the villa itself, having a private chef for our last meal, meeting a local vineyard owner who provided us a tasting (Paloma), short drives to Calistoga and Napa and 5 miles to St Helena, the wine from the vineyards where we stayed and conversation with the villa owners. Our friends had a very memorable time. I highly recommend this property for an unforgettable visit.

Words cannot express how happy we were that we stayed as this amazing property. It’s truly magical and was perfect for a group of 10. Brian is an amazing host, and shared so much of the history of the property. You really feel like you get to know he and his mother as you stay in the home. We hope to have the opportunity to stay there again on another visit to the Napa Valley!

We recently spent 4 nights in this lovely home, and really enjoyed our stay. It sits atop a hill that overlooks a vineyard and Napa Valley to the East, and features breathtaking views! The reservation process was easy, and we were greeted by the sweet home owner when we arrived. She helped us get settled in, and even made arrangements for a private tasting at the acclaimed Paloma winery! The property manager was also incredibly friendly and resourceful, and touched base with us periodically to ensure our visit was comfortable. If you want a spacious, quiet, picturesque vacation home to escape to after a long day of wine tasting, then this may be perfect for you!
