This place is beautiful and perfect for a large group. It fit all of our family really well. Marcus is very nice and helpful if you need anything. The living room and kitchen are hot, but we are from Texas and used to having our AC. There are some things that need updating, but overall we really enjoyed our stay!!

The house(if you can call it that) is still inner construction. Very dated and furniture is limited and not very nice. The facility is more of an apartment complex than a home with people coming and going all hours of the day and night. Very disappointed, especially for the money.

Our large group thoroughly enjoyed the Villa, Little Taj by the sea. It could accommodate for our large family- very spacious. Property manager was great to work with; communicative, friendly and very helpful for questions we had. A few items that would be nice for future potential customers, the pool and perimeter could use some touch up as was very weathered. There is a path noted to the private beach which we thought we’d use more if that path could be opened up and bushes / brushes trimmed back, it would make it a better experience on the way down. Lastly, the stairs from main family room up to the kitchen was under renovation; still functional but should be noted. These items noted are smaller details but overall, a lovely stay- and would come back for sure.

Once in St. Thomas, we were immediately contacted to ensure an easy navigation and entry with a tour of the property. Although the living spaces were quite hot without AC (our visit was in June), we loved the very clean home and made great use of the pool table, pool and veranda. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. The AC in the bedrooms and new mattresses provided a wonderful night sleep. Mangos right on the property were delicious! And the short walk to the beautiful private beach was perfect. The hosts were super responsive to our questions. We loved our time here and definitely recommend it to others!

Wonderful getaway - beautiful home with room for 11. Meals on the veranda overlooking the water, plenty of pool time, and a private beach that was beyond gorgeous. We all want to return!

I will start with this property had many of the things we were looking for; a great location, beautiful views and lots of space for 2 families to spread out. We are an adventurous group who likes to spend more time visiting all that the island has to offer, and less time in the house. After spending a week in the house, I am somewhat glad that was the case.
Simply put, maintenance in this house has been clearly ignored for quite some time and it was quite disappointing how extensive it was.
- Transition step from wood steps to the kitchen is broken and exposes large nails right where you need to step.
- multiple wood planks in the steps have gapped and slip easily.
- 2 broken dining room chairs
- 2 broken patio chairs
- Broken floor tiles
- Broken door handle and water dispenser on the Fridge
- Massive crack in the kitchen island and a chunk taken out of the countertop
- Broken / inoperable slider door handle
- Multiple towel holders in each of 3 bedrooms are broken and/or completely missing
- The sink in the bathroom between rooms 4 and 5 is broken and leaks any time it is used.
- The directions to the house are confusing and should be re-written with distances.
- The Wifi and password provided upon arival and in the guest book are outdated and incorrect
Again, we had a great vacation and loved the pool and the views, however for the price we paid and the pride with which the owner spoke about the property, we expected the home to be much nicer and much more cared for.

We enjoyed the “Little Taj by the Sea”. It was very comfortable and accommodated our family well. The little pool was a good spot to relax and cool off. We made many trips down the path to the ocean and that beach was delightful (wish the path was in better condition). Sitting on the balcony early in the morning and at sunset was absolutely the best! The host Solomon Kabuka, was very accommodating. The only negative would be that the photos online were a bit dated - but that is really minor. Thanks for a great holiday.

We had our children and grandchildren together to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We made many trips on the path to the beach. Some of the grandkids had never snorkled. They had so much fun seeing all the different kinds of fish. The location was wonderful. Very quite. We took many pictures of the incredible sunrises and sunsets. Marcus, the property manager, was available when ever we needed anything. Our 10 day stay was everything we had hoped for. We would highly recommend this property.

The host and property manager were beyond amazing to deal with. The view was breathtaking. Very convenient to everything we did. They gave us ideas and anything we had a question about within mins we had a response. We used the patio and pool area a lot when we were at the house. The house has all the essentials you need for a friend trip or your family. Our trip was one for the books! We went for a bachelor trip and there were so many things for us to do. I highly recommend taking a boat tour. We used Nate’s Charters, our tour guide Patrick was awesome. From snorkeling to showing us around the islands.

The house was as described! Google maps got us there perfectly (Apple maps not so much) No AC in July in the main part of the house made things hot but that’s to be expected, and made stepping into the AC’d bedrooms feel amazing! We very much enjoyed our stay, there were 12 of us and we had plenty of room!

We were met at the property by Marcus who was amazing. The property was beautiful and we even got married on the outside deck overlooking the Caribbean. Abi Beach was beautiful and we had it all to ourselves except on a couple days when the cruise ships were in port. All in all it was a memorable vacation and I would highly recommend Little Taj by the see. We hope to get back soon.

OK, 1st the owner and property manager are amazing!! It was a pleasure working with them both. The view from this house are amazing. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for 9 adults. The house is well stocked in the kitchen with cookware and utensils. The bathrooms are stocked with TP and Towels. The refrigerator is big enough to handle all your food. Ok, now for the not so good, but to be fair not the fault of the owner or the property. St Thomas is a VERY hilly island, so please be prepared for some uncomfortable driving to and from the property. The driveway will scare you! 2nd. the main house has no central AC system. What that means is even with all the doors open, it is very hot inside the house during the day. So if you think you will be hanging out all day at the house, think again, it is to hot and muggy during the day. The bedrooms do have AC, but given the heat, they all need box fans to help cool the rooms down. Sitting outside in the morning and evenings is the best. One of the bedrooms has very little privacy, it has huge sliding glass doors that open directly into the living room. This is not the room for an intimate couple to stay in (lol) Unless they install some very serious privacy curtains. The pool is nice, but the water is very warm from the tropical sun beating down on it all day long. Over all the house truly has the best views on the island

We had an amazing week staying at this property. Our group was all adults and the rooming situation was ideal. Great location between Frenchman's Bay and Red Hook. We enjoyed many mornings and evenings on the porch watching ships in and out of the port, in addition to many day trips sightseeing. Owners happened to visit during our stay and took time to ensure we had what we needed. Regarding reservations- All correspondence prior to trip was addressed quickly and completely. Thank you again for the hospitality.

There are many positives about this property. All bedrooms have private baths, bunkbed room has hall bath, kitchen has plenty of plates, bowls, utensils, pots and pans, nice fridge, blender for drinks, coffee maker and dishwasher. Beach is quiet and beautiful (frequently we were the only ones there), We spent all 3 meals on veranda with beautiful views of ocean, shade from roof and breezes (it was absolutely the best place to sit and visit, read, watch boats). Pool was clean and beach towels were plentiful. Adults enjoyed the pool table. Marcus lives on property and was always just a phone call away and helpful. Appreciated the soap for dishwasher and shampoo and body wash in showers. A few negatives -- the path to the beach is only a few minutes but rugged, especially for older folks since the path contains loose rocks and tree roots, is narrow and a steep hill. Kitchen has no toaster. You will need a car to get to grocery, etc. Advised by notebook at the home not to drink the water since it is rain water stored in cistern and to conserve water, especially if it doesn't rain for a period of time. All bedrooms were subject to early morning light since window coverings are thin and light is easily admitted. Would have been nice to have a small supply of laundry soap available for the first load or two. Biggest concern is what appears to be lack of maintenance -- missing floor tiles in kitchen, stove drawer falls off and is not clean, holes around light switches or electrical outlets. Cleaners were just leaving as we arrived and floors, bathrooms, linens etc. were clean and even bleached. But poor maintenance distracted from overall positive impression. Found several large roaches in kitchen (nowhere else in house). Would stay again if maintenance issues were addressed. We were surprised by a family living in the downstairs -- no problem just didn't expect anyone else to be there.

Enjoyed Beautiful views and semi private beach. Would have been nice to have the umbrella by the pool as shown in the pictures.

The best part of this house is the access to the semi private Abi Beach. The path was a hike, but fine for our teens and us.
The view off the front porch was amazing and we enjoyed our mornings watching the boats go by.
Marcus was so kind and helpful.
Best family vacation!!

The home is in an excellent location it is spacious and the views are fantastic. The home did lack cleanliness I took pictures of the fans which were covered fully in dust, under the couch was all the prior guests left behind items, the sheets were stained & we woke to many dead roaches daily. I lived on the island prior and while I know roaches are in the tropics (I live on the water) they seem to be coming from under the door that is in the kitchen that must lead to another unit. The washer and dryer gave us problems repeatedly and we had to have them serviced but it was addressed in a timely manner. Overall the place is suitable you just expect that it won’t be very clean & pack Clorox wipes & wash every dish before using.

Everything was incredible about this property! We went for my bachelorette party and had the trip of a lifetime. The listing was 100% accurate, the views were unbeatable, the property was clean, the instructions for check in/out, directions to the house and other information was clearly written and well communucated. Marcus, the property manager is an absolute dream and was always helpful and accommodating.
I can't say enough good things about the locals, who are all absolute gems. I would absolutely stay at this property when I visit St. Thomas again, and hope it's sooner rather than later!
Thank you so much for such a magical stay!

This property is exactly as advertised. Great views. Perfect for 5 couples although one couple had to sleep in bunk beds.

The Good
Absolutely beautiful views!
Pool was great!
Beds were great also
The Bad
There’s no way you can find this place even though the property manager who actually lives there also swears it’s easy. Trust me I went with a group of 6 and all of us were baffled at how hard it is to find.
GPS does not work. Not their fault
Found 2 big dead cockroaches when we walked in.
For the price I paid we only get 1 role of paper towels. There’s another family that lives underneath I think?
All over all the stay was OK but I’ve been to the island 4 other times and found better accommodations for the price I paid. Everyone had a great time but I will not be staying again.

The bed in the bedroom #2was broken, which needs to be fixed. Pool and a/c for the bedrooms was great kitchen and common areas very large and kitchen had many dishes for a large gathering. One lack of appliances was a toaster. The stove does need updating and small countertop nearby needs to be attached. Needs some updated painting throughout. Had small leaks a few places in the roof. Beach access was a very steep descent. Porch and view from it were totally amazing.

Solomon Jr. is the most wonderful and amazing communicator. We were unable to make our original dates (for my eldest daughter’s wedding in St. Thomas) due to Hurricane Ian, and Solomon was supremely helpful! Communication leading up to our original trip, throughout the the changes, and just caring about safety were profoundly superb! We look forward to our visit to St Thomas, Little Taj, and we have heard WONDERFUL things about it from the local community. THANK YOU, Solomon!

We had a group of 10 that stayed for a week to celebrate a 30th wedding anniversary. The check in process was smooth, the property manager met us and showed us around. The views are simply stunning! We spent a lot of time just sitting on the covered deck enjoying the scenery, watching boats come and go, including a couple of cruise ships. We took advantage of the pool and did trek down to the private beach a couple of times. Although on our first trip down there was a catamaran with approximately 50 people that had just gotten off so the privacy did not exist that day and we ended up not staying. The next time was only our group and we had a great time. There's tables and chairs and some shade and the beach was clean and the water was gorgeous.
We would recommend a small safe in each bedroom so that valuables can be locked up when leaving the property. We also thought a small outdoor fridge (or 2) would be convenient for when you're spending time in and around the pool. With the main area of the house not being air conditioned, screens in all of the windows and doors could help cut down on bugs, but we do realize we were on an island and bugs are to be expected. We did not rent a vehicle but would highly recommend it as the roads and driveway are steep and taxis were not cheap.
All in all, our entire group had a fabulous time and would recommend not only traveling to the island, but staying at Little Taj By The Sea if you have a large group. We would definitely go back!

Beautiful view
The view from this house is fabulous! We had a group of 12 ladies stay. The house was very large & spacious & had beds for all. 6 bathrooms was great to have too. Most of the beds were comfortable but there were a couple that could be updated. Solomon was so helpful and answered all of my questions very quickly. We had a couple of issues that they fixed asap. The kitchen is well equipped. The trail to the beach is a bit rugged. We walked it once but never actually stayed on the beach there. We were able to taxi to other beautiful beaches. I definitely would recommend this house!!

Relaxation
We had a wonderful time. We had just a couple of things we would suggest. The house is difficult to find but once we did was quite easy. Beautiful views and the Abbi beach was perfect (it is a hike up and down). The location is fabulous- right between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook. The family did mention the mattresses could be replaced and they thought the pool would be full size- once settled in it was great. Nothing like sitting on the veranda in the morning with coffee watching the water:)

Vacation
We had a wonderful experience at this rental house. The residence was clean and ready to go upon arrival. The property manager Marcus was fantastic and he even transported my wife and I to the grocery store, after a taxi wasn’t available. The view of the ocean from the house was stunning and the walk to the beach was well worth the effort.

Fantastic villa
The views were enchanting, watching the ocean and the sailboats. The kids loved the pool and the house was enormous. We were planning to rent cars but are glad we used taxis instead. The roads are narrow, winding and steep. The house is only 10 minutes away from town. Easy to provision. We absolutely loved it!

Fabulous getaway in St. Thomas
We couldn't have been more please with the house, the property owner and property manager. Everything was taken care of and the house was terrific! We loved having our own house to stay in and not worry about masks, etc at a resort. We each had our own bathrooms and all of the rooms were spacious. We spent the mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the beautiful view watching the sunset . The location of the house was great - not far from Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook. I would recommend this house again and hope to be able to use it again for ourselves.

Lil Taj
We rented this place very last minute, had some question and Solomon (the owner) communicated with me via text with any concerns promptly. The place was amazing, plenty of room and the view was unreal. We traveled with 8 adults and felt we all had our own private space. It pretty much comes with your own private beach, take a quick walk down a path and your there. We went there twice and only saw 4 people one day. We fell in love with the VI. We will be back and stay with Solomon again if we have a large group.

Gorgeous Views!
My family and I spent a week at this lovely property. All nine of us loved it and had a great time! The views were spectacular and the semi private beach amazing! It was about a 5 or 10 minute walk to the beach, a slightly rugged hike, and that was as much fun for all of us as the beach itself! The pool was really great too! The owner, Solomon, was wonderful to deal with and all of our needs were met. Perfect getaway for a large group!

We enjoyed our stay at the Little Taj. Everything was as advertised. The essentially private beach (only another family or two are there at any point in time), which is a 5-minute walk was a nice bonus. The owner, Solomon, was very responsive. We would like to come back and recommend the property to others
