Shelter Cove Villa. Completely Renovated. Well-Appointed, Perfectly Situated Unit. This bright and airy second-floor Harbourside I villa offers AMAZING HARBOR VIEWS from its balcony. Shelter Cove is a Mediterranean-style village located on the harbor across the street from Palmetto Dunes. More than a dozen restaurants and boutiques line the beautifully landscaped marina, where you can walk to breakfast, lunch or dinner; enjoy live music; shop; rent a boat or a kayak or book a fishing or a sightseeing excursion. Or just kick back, enjoy your wine or coffee, throw fish or steaks on the grill, all-the-while enjoying the incredible sunset views amongst the bright flowers and host of private yachts.

Best of both worlds: Shelter Cove offers everything from fine dining to family-orientated water-front cafes and Mexican fare. Guests of this villa can walk downstairs for a cup of coffee glass or a wine at Bistro 17, enjoy a white-tablecloth meal inside at Ela's On the Water, take advantage of great Happy Hour drinks and live music at San Miguel's or catch spectacular sunset dining views at outdoor tables at Scott's Seafood or Bucci & Murray’s Pub on the Harbour--all within sight of the villa. On Tuesday nights, the balcony is the place to be as Shelter Cove becomes the island's most popular destination with free live music and fireworks. But all back to peace and quiet by 10:00 p.m. Fun and relaxing at the same time: The best of both worlds.

Completely Renovated: The bright and airy second-floor villa has floor-to-ceiling windows; a newly renovated kitchen with granite, tumbled stone and European stainless-steel appliances; tile floors throughout the common area; newly carpeted bedrooms, and updated bathrooms. The master bedroom with an extremely comfortable hybrid mattress king-sized bed overlooks the harbor, while the front bedroom, with two full-sized beds, overlooks the pool area. The den has a top of the line LG OLED TV with an advanced-component sound system that includes AppleTV player hookups, so you can listen to your own music on this awesome system. The dining room table seats six, while the breakfast bar accommodates another three for meals. An outdoor high-top table on the covered balcony is the best location for sunset gatherings or early-morning coffee. Overall, the upscale decor has a beach theme using sunset colors, wicker, glass and a mix of light woods against newly painted neutral walls. Calm and relaxing feel, through and through.

So much to do...without a car: Nowhere on the island offers more to do, without driving anywhere! Enjoy the building's private pool, located within the gated grounds. And since Shelter Cove is part of Palmetto Dunes, guests have access to Palmetto Dunes for beach, golf (All 3 courses at Palmetto Dunes have been rated an outstanding four stars or more by Fodor’s Golf Digest Places to Play.) and tennis (Ranked Top 25 Tennis Resorts in the World by Tennis Online Resorts). Guests also have free use of the owner's four beach bikes for the duration of their stay. Beach access for Shelter Cove guests is a one-mile bike ride away along paths under 278 and through Palmetto Dunes, or it can be accessed by car or the Palmetto Dunes Beach Buggy. The Buggy is a free shuttle service available to Shelter Cove guests during season that takes you to the beach, the grocery store or the mall, so you don't have to step foot in your car from the time you arrive until you are ready to depart. Within five minute walk from the villa, you have access to dining, entertainment, canoeing, kayaking, dolphin cruise, sunset cruise, dinner cruise, charter fishing and much much more!

Condo on the Water is a perfect family vacation spot! There are 5 in our family, and we were very comfortable. The location is a 10-15 minute bike ride to the beach and a short walk to many shops and restaurants. The balcony is a perfect viewing spot for the Tuesday night fireworks. Our host was incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for dining and other activities. The kitchen is well equipped, including a high end coffee maker and bean grinder - we used daily. We also greatly appreciated the level of cleanliness throughout. We would highly recommend this property!

The condo has been wonderful! The bikes are great and are much better than the ones we typically receive when we rent bikes. The baskets are a plus as well. The Apple play is soooo great as we are music lovers, and an option that we have never had in a rental before. The master bed is more comfortable than the new mattress we paid a lot of $$$ for just months ago! We enjoy morning coffee on the deck. We had amazing views of the lightning show last night as well as the fireworks. The pickle ball clinic is great. Noa, the instructor, was awesome! We enjoyed the beach yesterday, and the beach chairs were definitely a plus! Today, we will have a massage at The Westin Spa. ♥️ Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo. We hope to visit again I the fall!

0ur visit was the week of July 4th & we were a little concerned about crowds. It really was reasonable. We thought being on the water might be noisy & it wasn't. The bike/ walking paths were everywhere & made it so easy to get around & to the beach. The restaurants were good & the shopping was fun & beachy. Listening to nightly music from our porch was perfect with a glass of wine. I could go on & on, literall a perfect location, lots of activity lunch/dinner options! It felt like we used everything available... the house is packed with everything you need. Loved it!

We loved the property at Harbourside. We love Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove. Conveniently located to locally owned shops and restaurants. And the Tuesday night fireworks were awesome. Perfect view from our balcony. The condo was very roomy and very comfortable. A few of the cooking pans were in need of replacement but overall very good. Also pool is very close which was great!

This Condo is well equipped, was clean and the proximity to everything, was appreciated. Beds were good, beach chairs were provided, and having the washer and dryer was great! We sat on the covered porch every morning having coffee, and also in the evenings, and enjoyed the Marina. Loved the location, and everything about our two weeks at “Condo on the Water”.

So much to say about our stay at this Shelter Cove condo. The view of the harbour from this unit is magnificent. The condo was clean and spacious and has a great kitchen equipped with everything we needed and then some. Byron provided us with thorough information prior to our stay, eliminating the need for us to contact him with questions. He also checked with us near the end of our stay and asked if we had noticed any maintenance issues, because if there were any, he wanted to be sure to address them before the next guests arrived. Check-in was easy and parking was convenient. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Everything was fantastic about our stay --- Byron was great from the start! He was always available and quick to respond to any messages, Only surprise was no beach towels as well equipped as the condo is. We highly recommend it and would stay there again if we return to Hilton Head!

We booked a last minute vacation before our children went back to school, and we were lucky enough to find this beautiful condo on Hilton Head. Byron was very attentive to all our questions from the day we booked, and all throughout our stay. Perfect location for dining out, nightly entertainment, beach access, and exploring the island. We will definitely return!

We had an excellent experience! Everything that was listed was there and then some. The condo was very clean; didn't feel worn, as many places do when they are this popular; the kitchen had everything one might need, except plastic wrap and plastic bags (if you use those); the theater-like experience of the TV was really impressive, especially to my teens; the check -in/-out process was seamless, including the car pass; the location/view for Tuesday night fireworks was perfect; the bikes that are included were appreciated and saved us the time and money of renting them. We did not use the shuttle bus, since we found it easier to drive. The many positive reviews are warranted for this condo and the owner. Byron has thought of everything for your stay, and if he hasn't he will go the extra mile to make it a nice stay for you. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

What a wonderful property! The views are amazing, we started every day with breakfast on the balcony and ended each day with drinks while watching the sunset! The space had everything we needed and comfortable beds. It was spotless upon arrival. All the little touches like linens, bikes and starters of all the paper products and detergents were awesome. You can not beat the location of this place. We walked to restaurants and shops. It was a fun town center, hearing live music on the balcony was enjoyable and then at 10 pm, all was quiet. The TV system is next level, sounds like you're in the movie theater! In season, the trolley and Dunes Buggy take you all over the place which was wonderful for limited beach parking. Byron answered my emails and texts promptly, but it was so well appointed, I only had to reach out about pool access while we were there and the pool was just right after hot and successful days of fishing (charters are right in the marina). I am definitely booking this unit again. Amazing!

This rental was 100% awesome for our family (teens). The location can’t be beat and the view is to die for. The boats in the harbor are beautiful. We enjoyed biking to the Marriot for pool and beach usage. Evenings were spent at the Disney Resort’s pier and hammocks. The unit had everything we needed for cooking. Beds were very comfortable. Very large condo for a family of four. Great vacation!!!

Enjoyed our stay... condo had everything that we needed. Loved having coffee outside every morning overlooking the marina. Plus easy view for fireworks on Tuesday night. Convenient to have 4 adult bikes & beach chairs on hand. Plus the shuttle was easy & convenient.

We could not have loved it more. Upon arrival, I had a few questions and Byron was so quick to respond. The condo has everything we could need and was spotless. The beds were so comfy we all want the same mattresses at home now. The view from the balcony is spectacular. There is nothing like watching the boats and people enjoy the marina while soft jazz is played by a local business. It’s perfect. We love the close proximity of San Miguel’s restaurant and bar, ice cream/fudge shop etc., Neptune statue is the perfect spot to catch the Dune Buggy and never move the car. We also recommend Hudson’s and Poseiden for local eats. Coligny was fun shopping and we also squeezed in jet skiing, kayaking, dolphin cruises and morning walks to the general store (best lunch ever) in palmetto dunes in between the beach and the pool. It was all located so convenient to this beautiful condo. I cannot say enough about this beautiful property. We cannot wait to book our next trip.

Had a great time with myself, husband, and two kids (5 and 2). Very close to everything at Shelter Cove and you can keep and eye on how long the line is for Hilton Head Social Bakery - highly recommend trying! Gorgeous views of the marina and easy to get to 278 to get to everything else. We loved that Kroger and Whole Foods was so close!
