A quiet cabin just off Hwy 9, it actually has enough dishes and silverware for 10 people, and has a big dining table that seats 10 also. And as a bonus, there are 100s of books on a bookshelf in the basement and games to play if you are stuck inside.
My spouse, children and I had a great time staying here.

Our stay at Aspen House was perfect for what we needed for an offsite business retreat. The listing was accurate, and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Having multiple bedrooms was very helpful for a group of coworkers. Check in and out was easy! Thanks for a good stay.

We loved this place! A couple of bonus surprises: 1) bunk beds were very wide and comfortable that while only one adult slept in them they are wide enough for two (all other beds/bedrooms were excellent as well)! 2) we were treated with a family of moose (papa with huge rack, mama and baby) right beside the cabin!!! We didn’t have any issues that required us to contact the host. Thank you so much for sharing your home. We highly recommend and would stay here again. As noted on the description: a 4x4 vehicle is required during the winter.

We loved how this cozy home is nestled in the picturesque aspens away from the hubbub and road noise, and yet it was conveniently located minutes from nearby hiking trails, biking trails, ski lift, amazing restaurants, shopping and ice skating. The beautiful deck offered a great gathering place for our family to relax and soak up the serenity of the mountains. The spacious dining room and four bathrooms also made it very comfortable for our extended family to all stay together. The well stocked kitchen and grill made cooking for a group a breeze. We appreciated how the owners are so friendly and accommodating, and they definitely go the extra mile to ensure a great experience! We will definitely return again!

Great location. Lots of space. Plenty of amenities. Washer and dryer were a plus
Wish the heating was better.

Very nice and spacious home, loved that it had lots of cookware for our Thanksgiving Family Dinner. Very close to Breck. Only small issue is that there was pet hair all around the house, and we had 2 people who were allergic to it, but overall was a great stay. Would recommend this property!!

Family Reunion
Quiet, spacious home that offered a comfortable venue to host 10 family members. Close to Breck and surrounding towns. PM company needs to pay attention to grill. Tray and grease tray were completely full. Need to clean regularly.

HEADS UP
Beautiful home!!!!!! Extremely comfortable and spacious. One recommendation, the trash left inside the garage was very smelly I would encourage removal.
Also a nice jacuzzi would be next level!!!!!
Overall loved my second experience here Thank you again.

We truly loved staying at this house - we all had enough room to spread out and not clutter up the house. I will say, the house is very secluded - there is no cell service while at the property and the internet is awful so don't plan on being able to stay connected if you aren't willing to go into town. The house was mostly clean - we did book a last minute trip so they may have not had time to clean before we got there as there was white dog hair EVERYWHERE and we rented this house because it didn't allow pets as we have allergies. By the end of our 10 days stay, we were still finding mats of dog hair all over the floors and furniture. The house is organized well, roomy, and has a nicely stocked kitchen (we had salt, but no pepper) with pots & pans to be able to cook at the property. It's quiet and tucked away in the beautiful Aspen trees. We would stay here again!

Great location, good mix of staying in the mountains but close to town.

The property is located in a very nice hill area. The house is very secluded in a quiet street with lots of trees. A very nice neighborhood to walk around. It has a nice front balcony with bench and bbq grill.
The basement is popular among kids. It is a space by itself with sofa, coffee table, study table, books, tv, game console, full bathroom and 2 bunk beds (4 beds).
The kitchen and dining area are very spacious, very comfortable for 7 of us. Enough plates, silverware and glasses for everybody. Adequate cookware, even a crockpot was provided.
The master bedroom and bath are very spacious and comfortable. The two queen bedrooms are adequate and comfortable too. There are enough humidifiers for each room in the house (in case the air gets too dry).
The property is quite close to town, we can get our groceries and visit the downtown easily.
The only downside about the property is that this is like a 3 story house but with only 1 heater setting, there is no AC. The basement is the coldest area in the house while the third floor is the hottest. We visited during the summer months, at night, we have to set the heater to 70F otherwise the basement gets too cold. Meanwhile 70F is too hot for the ones in the third floor so we have to open our windows. Unfortunately the window on one of the room on third floor doesn't want to stay open.

Stayed for a long weekend over 4th of July. The house was fantastic, especially the porch for morning coffee. Did lots of bike riding on the paths around Breckenridge and Lake Dillon, and hiking around Hoosier Pass and McCullough Gulch. Very close access to lots of other hiking trails as well. An ideal mountain getaway.

Conveniently close to town, but provides privacy in a beautiful wooded area. Enjoyed hiking and sledding the steep hill in the backyard. The only real complaint about the house was the plumbing. It was VERY loud. Anytime you flushed a toilet or used the faucets, there was a lot of air in the line and loud noises. Essentially once the first person woke up and got ready....everyone was up because the plumbing would wake them up.

This is a nice house. We liked it. However, there are some issues that need to be addressed. Anyone who rents the property during the winter should bring extra warm clothes for lounging, maybe an extra blanket and if they plan on cooking, good knives (and kitchen tongs). The thermostat, which is located in the warmest part of the house, makes it so the home is not heated well. The large windows, with a beautiful view, are not insulated. It is very cold in that living room area (which is quite small - definitely not for 10 people). Also, if one plans on skiing and then staying home at night (due to COVID) be sure to bring the right HDMI cables so you can connect your laptop to the TV. The TV stations are extremely limited so no movies, or ESPN, or CNN, etc. Under normal circumstances this wouldn't be a big deal, but during COVID we wanted to stay home and watch movies - not possible (unless you still travel with DVDs). Other homes we've rented over the past few years have smart TVs so we can log in to our own accounts. This is not a huge deal, typically, as we usually go out. But this year is different, of course. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water! It's a nice house - with a few updates and modernizing it could be an awesome rental.

Great Last Minute Stay!
My extended family (consisting of 5 adults and 3 kids) had a great stay at Aspen House. We had to make last minute decisions due to the fires around Estes Park, where we planned to spend the week. The house set up was great with the room with bunkbeds on the lower level with a tv and games for the kids to hang out, and the living room area for the adults to hang out. The location was very easy to get to and only about 10 minutes from Breckenridge. SkyRun was very communicative and everything from check-in to check-out (via keypad) was easy and great! We would definitely stay there again.
4.7
Great place
This property had plenty of space. It was nice to be tucked in the woods and so close to Breckenridge. We saw a moose right as we pulled up! The check in directions were easy to follow and the house was clean.
4.7
Great week.
The place was as advertised and we had a great week in blue river and Breckenridge. The only hiccup was the oven did not heat up to temperature and smelled of gas. We notified the property management and am sure it will be fixed for the next guest. I would definitely stay there again.
4.7
Breck 2020
The house location was perfect. Being on the south side of Breck made going in and out of downtown much easier. Traffic was minimal. Closer to most trailheads.
4.7
Sleeping courters
The house does not hold as many as it says it does. They said the house sleeps 15, 10 is the most comfortable
4.7
Excellent location
Wasn't expecting the house to be in a great location, had a great time with my family.

Excellent Experience
Great house. Excellent location! Great for a large family or several families. The bunk room was a great area for the kids. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone!

Great location--beautiful home!
Our extended family ski gathering, shared at your home, was a special and memorable experience! Your place was so well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

01/15-01/19/20
Beautiful, well kept home. The drive to the slopes was only 8 minutes. The only negative was the beds in bedrooms 2 and 3 were not queen size as mentioned in the description. They were full size. Other than that our stay was great.

Will rent it again
Very beautiful and comfortable home to rent.

We loved our stay at this property. It was exactly as described on HomeAway. Our family were all comfortable and felt at home. Thanks!

Fun fun fun
We had so much staying at the Aspen House and it was beautiful. All the amenities of home and they were very accommodating. The house was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. We close to everything and had so much fun. We would definitely book with Sky Run Breckenridge and VRBO again.

True to the posting!
This house was exactly as advertised, and was a great option for our Breck ski trip! Clean. Check-in was easy with codes being sent day-of. Driveway was a little tricky to get in and out of in the snow due to a small turning hill—definitely recommend 4x4 if going in winter. Garage was somewhat small and didn’t fit the large trucks we had, but there was space in the driveway (once shoveled out a bit more) to fit three vehicles. A car or mid-SUZ will fit no problem.
No issues with the property, highly recommend!
4.7
perfect location. Quiet, but only ten minutes from the slopes
The house is set up nicely with a large dinning area. The lower level has enough room with it's own TV so that the kids also have a place if they want some time alone.
4.7
The location was great, the space was great, however the house itself was mediocre.
There was 3 families that stayed here,6 adults and 8 children. We all had plenty of space and used it all proficiently. The house itself was mediocre. It could use updating. The whole house needs painted..the walls all look filthy as the whole house is painted institutional white and shows everything. The decor could use a major overhaul..it's a case where less is best, especially if decor items are covered in dust.We also had a major spider issue,I'm not exaggerating when I say we killed at least 20 spiders, including spider webs in almost all of the high ceilings.Definately need to consider an exterminator. We had to hide that fact from the small children because they were petrified.I would love to use the house again,as stated,it's a great house and location, just needs some good house cleaning to keep up with others in this category. We also had a small gas stove/oven issue, and Sky Run was great to come out and reassure us that all was good.
4.7
Cozy home, great location & awesome patio!
Our group rented a SUV, which made for the perfect location since it's just a few minutes away from downtown Breck. Plenty of space, 4 bathrooms served our group of 5 very well and the kitchen came in handy to prepare meals (and save some money). We spent most of our time there hanging out in the living room and on the patio. The views of the pine trees and snow outside are just picture perfect! Loved drinking my morning coffee out there! :)
The door to the patio, however, does not have a knob on the outside portion. I shut the door entirely and locked myself out once! Something that may add to the Aspen House experience would be to invest in better pillows. The beds slept great, just not the pillows- something I noticed as a property owner myself.
We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
