Give everyone their own space while all staying together. We booked this for our wedding party and friends and it was perfect. The house connects to the all the main pcmr trails while also only being one stairway away from all the old town bars. Each room comes with its own character while also each having its own bathroom allowing all of our friends to have a unique and private experience staying with us. The hot tub is like a bird watchers paradise in the morning. This house is so unique but also an amazing place to make memories with your friends and family

This Grand Loveshack lives up to its billing: tons of bedrooms, most with en suite bathrooms, with large gathering spaces for everyone to be together. Location is easily walkable to town, and though we were here in May, you can see how easy it would be to ski in and out. The property manager, Gregg, was very responsive and informative. I’m very particular, and there aren’t many places where I would like to return, but we would love to return to the Loveshack!

We had a great stay with 20+ of our friends during our wedding weekend. Beautiful house, great location, comfortable beds. Communication with property manager was excellent and we had an amazing time with no hiccups. Highly recommend to anyone traveling with a big group!

The house has a lot of character, is very spacious, and has surprisingly comfortable beds in each room. Perfect for a group of friends to hang out for a ski weekend with plenty of activities including the hot tub, poker table, bar, and professional kitchen.

Park City ski week
This is a great house for a large group and couldn’t be more convenient to the slopes and to town. The commercial kitchen was great and we churned out several meals for the 17 of us with ease. The huge family room was the best part and was where we all congregated. Jeff and Gregg was super helpful and answered any questions we had. Would definitely rent again!

Great home and location
The home is stocked and managed better than any other rental home we've had. We had 16 people in the house and everyone had room to "get away" when needed. The home is a couple of blocks off Main St. but also has great ski-in/out access provided Quit'n Time is open. Highly recommend the Love Shack.

Thanksgiving family reunion…
Gregg was great to work with and communicate with. Great location, short walk to Park City. Backs up to mountain where you can hike and ski, (when there’s snow!) Had more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our party of 20. (10 adults, 10 children). Big family room for gathering and dining table large enough to seat all of us at once! Had a great Thanksgiving here.

A wonderful, large house in Park City with an interesting history!
This house is perfect for large groups. The bedrooms and private bathrooms provide privacy and comfort. The common areas are excellent for gathering. And the kitchen is restaurant quality. However, the 19 stairs at the entrance can be challenging for those with mobility issues. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there!

Family Summer 2021 Vacation
Our family had a Wonderful time at the Love Shack. The house had a large table in the Dining room and lots of bedrooms to spread out. Our visit was during the summer and there was a lot to do with a short drive: Rafting, Horseback Riding, Olympic Village, Fishing, etc. The owner, Jeff Love, and Manager, Gregg Ludlow, were both easy to work with and very responsive. If we come back to the area, it would definitely be to the Love Shack!

Great Family Reunion Location!
Hard to find a property capable of hosting a large family reunion all under one roof providing excellent accommodations for everyone. The Grand Love Shack's location is unbeatable and the Owners support and focus to make our stay enjoyable was excellent.

Excellent house for large groups
With 13 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, our family of 16 had more than enough space and options for bedrooms. The industrial grade kitchen is well-stocked like a conference center. Gregg, the property manager met and greeted us and provided some background on the house. He was very responsive to a couple issues. Very pleased.
While the house is quite expensive, it’s location and accommodations were well suited for our family.

Big family fun
Love Shack is the best! Even when the slopes closed because of Covid 19, our family enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, card table and dinner table. We’re all cooks so the amazingly well appointed kitchen is a real treat. We’ll be back!

Ideal Corporate Retreat Location
Our company used this in early fall for an executive corporate retreat. Comfortably fit and fed 10 C-Suite executives with each having their own bathroom and space. Beautiful location. Helpful and considerate managers. Only downside, not the fault of owners, is limited parking next to house in a resort town. Highly recommend.

Family get away
There were 20 of us from ages 6 to 66. We had easy walking access to Main St. and to hiking trails. The rooms were comfortable and interesting and the house is filled with fun decor and historical facts. We had everything we needed and more and everyone had a lot of fun and wants to stay there again.

Our group of 18 had an excellent stay at the Love Shack. It is a one-of-a-kind property with so much history and charm. Jeff and crew were terrific hosts and, of course, Park City is always a great time.
Hope to stay again!

Twenty-six of us descended on The Grand Love Shack mid-August for our 5-night family reunion. Our ages ranged from 19 to 87, and we hailed from the Pacific Northwest, the West and East coasts, and the Southwest. We've had a number of previous reunions elsewhere in the country; without question the Grand Love Shack in Park City is our favorite. The owner and property manager were wonderful to work with, very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and its history. The home was impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained. Although the kitchen is somewhat smaller than it appears in photographs, it was extremely well-equipped and highly functional. We fed everyone every night with no problems. And the two side-by-side dishwashers made clean-up a breeze. En suite bedrooms, named for Park City historical figures, were comfortable and pretty. Although each room had window air conditioners, we didn't turn them on. Nights were cool with lovely breezes. We spent a lot of time on the side porch, enjoying wine and appetizers in the evening, or coffee in the morning. My favorite spot was the front porch in the late afternoon...reading a book after a day of hiking, looking at the lovely mountains surrounding the property. Getting down to Main Street for lunch or the town's many summertime events took only 5-10 minutes via a staircase directly across the street from the property. We mountain biked, hiked, rode the lifts for scenic views, went to the Egyptian Theater for a Neil Simon festival, and attended a riveting aerial ski and snowboard demonstration at Olympic Park.
We hope to be back for our next reunion, and without hesitation recommend this very special rental.
Thank you Jeff.

Our family of 18 descended on the Love Shack on December 26, 2013, for 6 days. We now find ourselves jealous that somebody else may be renting our "HOME"!!!!! This property is everything advertised, and a whole lot more!!! Ski In, Ski Out...S'mores by the firepit...pool games...warm and relaxing hot tub at the end of each day...wonderfully stocked kitchen with 2 dishwashers...laundries...large living room area with a big tv and comfy couches...dining room table to die for...comfy mattresses and well-decorated bedrooms(each depicting a part of the history of Park City and the house)...easy access to downtown and the rental shops and shopping.
The owner and house manager could not have been more accommodating, and they were always available if we needed any answers to questions. Our stay was MAGICAL, and, believe us when we tell you, you will not be disappointed!!!!

As perfect as the Grand Love Shack must be for large family ski gatherings, it is perhaps even better for corporate events. I needed to get my team together for a corporate off-site, and needed a place that would not only provide personal privacy for a group of 12 men and women, but would also offer large common rooms where we could meet and eat together. With people flying in from the East and West Coasts, as well as Europe, we also needed a place with convenient international airport access.
The Grand Love Shack was perfect on all three counts.
There are more than enough bedrooms with en suite bathrooms to accommodate personal privacy. But we also loved being able to gather in the large family room, and started each morning catching up on email while eating at the humongous dining room table.(The kitchen, by the way, is fantastic. A true industrial kitchen, we baked pies, cooked steaks, etc.)
Even better, the house is so central that it made it easy for us to walk down to Main Street for dinner one night, and it's a short drive (or a 15- to 20-minute walk) to the alpine slide and other activities.
Every single person who came was blown away by the accommodations, and asked that we do our next off-site here in Park City again. Thank you, Jeff, for making it an effective place to hold our company off-site.

Three generations of our family, 20 people total, gathered here from all over the world to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. The location was fantasic- people could take the shuttle to the door from the SLC airport. We didn't need a bunch of rental cars as the location is close enought to walk into town and/or take the local shuttle bus around.
The house itself was perfect. The commercial kitchen made it easy to cater for 20 and keep the place clean. Everyone could have their own room with an ensuite- it was like staying at a high-end BnB. The dining room table meant we could all eat together.
The house itself has plenty of room and spaces for everyone- one group could be playing pool, another outside by the fire ,or in the hottub people out on the front porch, plenty of room to mingle and hang out.
All and all this house was perfect for our group, highly recommend it. The house has everything you could need to have a great time.
The owner was helpful and responsive to all our inquiries.

We stayed here from Mrach 23 to March 30 with 24 people - 12 adults and 12 kids (6 families in all). We had a great time although ski conditions were a bit slushy towards the end of the week. The house looks just like it looks in the photos. Very clean and spacious. Kids loved the bunk bed room, hot tub, and pool table. Good wifi connections and a tv in almost every room. Guys want the TV in our dinning rooms at home. Could easliy ski to town lift and ski back to house. Easy walk to mainnstreet. Good parking. And best of all owner was great and his caretaker and cleaning crew right on the money. Heard it snowed 14 inches after we left - wish we could have gone back for a powder day.

29 of us stayed here Dec 23-30. Indeed! to all the Hallelujiahs to the place. Let me add: soundproof rooms (we had 16 kids all ages including 8 teenage boys), and really good flow to the rooms in the house, particularly kitchen/dining room/living room. All 3 generations could gather informally and sit and eat or chat or read or play games and it never felt stiff or crowded, just normal and cozy. God bless the pool room for kids getaway. Made and served beef stew to 50, and needed to borrow or buy no implements. Impromptu happy dance parties in living room. My own house should be this convivial.

We stayed at Jeff Love’s Grand Love Shack for a family reunion in August 2012 and can’t say enough good things about the property, Jeff and the location. Our group included 23 people ranging in age from 14 to 74, and every one of us was thrilled with our choice. The house comfortably accommodated the crowd, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, not to mention entertainment options for everyone, from the quiet readers to the rowdy partiers. The huge dining room was a particularly perfect “re-gathering” spot following days of scattered activities.
Jeff’s listing is spot on – if anything the pictures can’t possibly capture the magic of the house. With its varying and imaginative room decors with ensuite bathrooms, comfy family room, entertaining games room, exercise room, huge dining room, and even an office (which, thankfully, none of us put to use), the house has everything any group could want. The views of Park City from the front and the mountains from the back are indescribable. As veteran “large house family reunioners” we can say this house was more immaculate and better maintained than any we’ve visited – from coast to coast.
And of course, the activities in and around Park City could have kept us busy for months – the week we stayed was far too little to experience the area’s offerings.
On top of all that, Jeff was the kindest and most helpful host. He answered endless questions leading up to our stay, made a special effort to navigate us into town through the thronged Kimball Arts Festival streets, found extra parking passes, made activity suggestions, and just made every effort to ensure our stay – not only in his house but in Park City itself – was special.
We recommend this property, and its owner, wholeheartedly; you couldn’t miss with a stay here!

Last week I had the pleasure of renting the Love Shack for a group of 16 men for a ski trip. The house is huge, TERRIFIC LOCATION FOR LARGE GROUP, stocked well, very comfortable, and a very fun place to stay! Jeff the owner couldn't be any more helpful. We hired a chef come in for breakfast, enjoyed the ski-in/ski out backyard, and then walked into town every night.
