This is an amazing place to stay. Everything is spotless and clean, it is easy to get to and in a quiet area. Hosts are lovely, very friendly and helpful

Nice comfy place suited needs for my weekend. Close to Freeport. Large, private room good for relaxing.
Good TV with Internet channels đ
Nice to have lots of snacks provided.
Door locks were a real pain. Managed to lock myself in till I looked up instructions on the Internet!
Could do with instructions for the coffee machine, too.

For someone like me who suffers from migraines, often as a result of perfumes, it was very refreshing to find somewhere so pleasant that does not rely on air fresheners, heavily scented fabric conditioners, etc. to provide a fresh and clean atmosphere. It was certainly somewhere that I would have no hesitation in visiting again.
The only thing that I would have liked would have been some shelves or hooks in the shower for shampoos, sponges, etc.

My room was spotlessly clean and the bed so so comfortable đ. Tea/coffee bits were provided with a proper size fridge for fresh milk, water [& wine - provided by me!] Coffee machine was a nice touch. Bags of biscuits and a selection of chocolates were left each morning when the room was straightened - this was such a treat!
My room was at the back overlooking a lovely garden so very quiet - exactly what I was hoping for as I desperately needed to catch up on some sleepđ´ . Indeed, the whole house was quiet most of the time and I managed about 22 hours sleep over a 2 night stay! đ
Parking was on the driveway, so no issues there despite it being a popular, fair dense neighbourhood. Great communication from Isabel, keeping me updated on developments (see bath - above).
The bathroom was right next door to my room and was for my exclusive use - water was instantly hot in the bath and it was simply lovely to lie back and ponder!
Alas and alack! The promised spa bath was broken. Isabel informed me before I arrived and offered free cancellation if I wished. Although hopeful that it could be "quick fixed", it couldn't be. It really wasn't a huge issue and hopefully it'll be working next time I book!

Isabel was very welcoming and accommodating despite us running late past our stated arrival time. Everything was thought of, and much better than a hotel! Amenities such as a TV, Wi-Fi, ensuite, tea and coffee, towels, an iron/board, etc! Ease of access to the property/room as well. Thank you!

Great spot for a night or two. Good to have microwave and kitchen equipment. Communication excellent. Thanks
Glad we had the room with the en suite. Wouldnât have fancied walking along the landing to the bathroom.

I had a lovely stay at Ross House. It felt like staying with friends/family rather than at a hotel, except that it was as clean as the fanciest hotel! And also there were lovely soft towels. I appreciated the tea/coffee facilities with fresh milk and biscuits. The bathroom had a cabinet that was thoughtfully stocked with a range of toiletries. The bed was super comfy and there were nice big windows that opened wide. It was nice to have Netflix already logged in on the TV. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Isabel was great at responding to messages quickly and was really friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Ross House.

Absolutely top of the line.
Very clean modern facilities, with both fast wifi and a big TV with streaming services.
Hostess was very very friendly, the surroundings made for a fine walk with a nearby nature park.
All in all superb. Out of 8 days travelling with a new hotel/b&b every night this was far superior to all the others, and the price was great!
Nothing.

Isabel could not have been more accommodating. I was unable to state my exact arrival time since I was walking The Essex Way and Ross House, a few miles from the trail, was the nearest accommodation I could book. She even sent me a video of where to find the key and let myself in.
A lovely self contained studio equipped with everything one could want, overlooking a well keep garden. By exiting the back gate, a local pub (where I had booked an evening meal) and a Tesco Superstore were just a 15 minute walk away.
No complaints. Iâll say that again, no complaints !

The room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. We didn't have an en-suite, but the large, very clean, bathroom next to our room was for our use only, which was great. The host was lovely, when we eventually got to meet her before leaving. Towels, tea/coffee/biscuits all provided. There was a fridge in the room which contained fresh milk.
The host was not at home when we arrived and we had to let ourselves in and find our room, which was easy enough. Would have been nice if she had messaged us when she arrived home so that we could meet her and gain a little local knowledge (i.e. where to go for breakfast, as she does not provide this). The whirlpool in the bath did not work and was extremely noisy. The shower kept going cold.

Very comfortable, scrupulously clean and a very friendly host.
The room was small and our private bathroom was next door rather than being an suite, but the host did warn of both things beforehand and, to be fair, neither inconvenienced us at all.

The property was welcoming, clean and comfortable.
I didnât realise when booking that even though I had my own bathroom, it wasnât en-suite. My fault for not reading properly.

The contact with Isabel was very pleasant. She reacted quickly to our mails and we got a warm reception. There was a save parking space for our sports bike tandem. Unfortunately, we did not have much time to have a chat together as we were a bit late. The room was very clean and equipped with everything you would like. Very quiet as well. A pub with good meals is at 15 mins walk. Unfortunately the kitchen closed early on the day we arrived, so we had to walk all the way to another pub (Astronomer) exactly in the opposite direction of the house. Luckily their kitchen was still open and they offer good food against very reasonable prices.
It is a pity that Isabel doesn't serve breakfast. That would have really topped it of. Also, the bed in our room unfortunately was slightly narrow. I guess it's a standard size, but we are used to slightly wider ones.

The host was extremely helpful and very welcoming. It was exceptionally clean and the facilities were above and beyond many large hotels. Quiet and relaxed . Close to my venue and lovely outside garden to relax in .
