This house and especially the back yard is something to die for. The contact person was fantastic. The only thing I will say is that if you have older people coming with you and any of them need a higher toilet or would have trouble getting down and up please bring a raised toilet seat.

The pictures don’t do justice to the actual size of the house and yard. Lots of space in the well air conditioned house or outside on the grass. Kitchen is big and well equipped. 3 bathrooms, nice laundry, bbq and dishwasher. Could stand to upgrade the patio chairs as many are worn out. The house and beds were very clean. Area is nice and quiet, nothing is very far away.

I would book this property again in a heartbeat. The location is secluded and very quiet and the property is very beautiful. Although the property is north of Kelowna travel times never affected anything we did. The house itself is very nice with ample of room for the eight of us to move around. The outdoor living space is very nice as well and beautiful for having your morning coffee overlooking the valley.

We spent a wonderful 5 days at this property with our family of 8 adults. There was plenty of room for all of us in this spacious home. The views were absolutely magnificent. The co-host was very communicative and helpful. If you enjoy a beautiful large and quiet home, then this is a great fit. We would definitely book here again.

Excellent place! The house was well stocked and clean! Beds are comfortable, lots of dishware and utensils, towels etc. Location is fantastic quiet, great view and large deck space. Shower heads need replacing. All around very happy with our stay. Would like to come back!

Morning coffee with a great view!! Great spacious house for a group of 8 girls. There was lots of room for all of us to get ready. Location was secluded and beautiful. The only thing that was a little hard was getting a cab to drive all the way out to get us, Would definitely stay here again!

A group of 7 ladies needed a weekend away. The house was perfect for our needs with lots of room and good sleeping accommodations. Large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Other than a Wine Tour which came to pick us up and a night out for dinner we retreated at the house enjoying the sun on the deck and evenings in the hot tub. Kitchen seemed to have everything we needed. The house is was located about 20-30 minutes from downtown Kelowna. Not a lot of communication from the property owner at the beginning of the reservation but when I was hooked up to the property manager (Allison) all questions were quickly answered. Allison went above and beyond with the check in and check out process. Perfect home for adults wanting to get away. Plenty of room for families but water/beach is not nearby. Home could use a little maintenance but nothing that should stop anyone from renting this house. Would stay again!

Great house with amazing views

This was a very nice clean spacious house for my group of friends to stay in Kelowna. The property manager was easy to contact and responsive to my questions before the trip and when we got lost finding the property. The panoramic views of of the lake And Valley from the hot tub made for a wonderful relaxing experience. The property is on a hill with no neighbouring homes to block the amazing views. The beds and sheets were nice and comfortable. The living room furniture was comfortable and there was ample outdoor seating. The only thing not shown in the the photos on the site is that the bunk bed room also has the laundry in it . It has fabric panels that can be drawn across to hide the laundry area. A car is a necessity staying at this property. I would stay there again and highly recommend it.

The house is beautiful and very spacious! We loved the hot tub, and the views from the house are incredible. The place was well stocked and very clean. We would love to stay here again! The only thing to be aware of is that it’s a long driveway to get to the house. It froze at some point when we were there and had a bit of trouble getting up the driveway, but the property manager was super responsive and came and salted the driveway for us. Overall we had an amazing stay! Thank you so much!

Great location with lots of space and awesome views overlooking the lake. We really enjoyed our time at McKinley and the Okanagan valley. Would recommend to others and would love to stay again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The view is unreal and the house has everything you need. It is a bit out of the way (20-25 minute drive from downtown) but we loved the seclusion and privacy of the location. We will definitely stay here again next summer!

Our stay was short, but fun. View and hot tub were obvious highlights. Lots of room for the 10 of (3 adults, 7 kids, 11-16yrs old). If they continue with the reno’s, entire house will be great. We went to a family wedding and we needed to find a home big enough for our family of 10. The experience we had with this McKinley home surpassed our expectations. The layout of the home gave us the flexibility to have young children in one end of the home and our more grown-up activities in the another. But what was so spectacular is the view of the lake! The home is a bit dated, but it was very clean.

Though I found the property easy to find and very accommodating, easy to connect with and beautiful view (especially at sunset -and star gazing) I found it to be a bit out of the way and the pillows could have been better otherwise a very happy stay!

We needed a property for 6 adults and 3 children for a family reunion., which filled our requirements for bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was extremely clean. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Towels were plentiful, although could have used more face cloths. kitchen was adequately supplied but could have used a few more supplies for short term renters. Overall would definitely rent again

As we walked up to the property our mouths dropped by the view! It was a gorgeous property. We had 9 people and had plenty of room to spread out. We saw deer everyday! It was a great place for our family reunion. We had people from all over and everyone was impressed! Would stay again. :)

The best experience

Extremely easy check in and check out process. Location is better than expected. Close enough to the city without the constant noise and traffic. I was so relaxed the entire time I didn’t want to leave the house. The hot tub was always perfect temperature, the view is stunning, and the wildlife popped in and out without any disturbance. We had several deer carry on through the neighbourhood, a wild turkey, some friendly birds, and numerous hummingbirds. The entire experience made our family vacation worth while!

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at this property. The owner and property manager were easy to communicate with. Check in and Check out process very easy. The property was clean and well equipped with mostly everything one would need. We travelled as family 4 (with 2 children) and two other couples. It felt very spacious with enough privacy for everyone. We plan on coming back here if we visit Kelowna again! It would if there was a highchair provided for the kid...(even an inexpensive one from ikea) to make this place even family friendly.

Upon arrival you are greeted by an incredible view of the north and south ends of the lake. We were there over May Long so the hot tub was popular at night as the daily temps were a bit cooler. The yard was slightly smaller than I anticipated but that's no problem. Because it is within Kelowna City Limits the taxis and wine tour shuttle had no problem coming to the property. Both the owner and property manager were responsive to my questions. We had two couples and 4 singles and the house accommodated this well with two "wings" and two living areas - tons of space! The only complaint I was asked to provide was that it seemed one of the tv remotes had dead batteries or wasn't working and the other was a struggle to set up. This was not a concern for all but a few folks wanted to watch the NBA playoffs and had a bit of a tough time making that happen. If you're looking to spend lots of time in West Kelowna I do recommend a property closer to downtown as it took an hour of our limo rental to go to and from West Kelowna but aside from that this was a great property!

House was very comfortable for the 10 of us. There is enough room that you can have some privacy. The Deck, Hot Tub and view are the best features of this house. It is looking a bit tired but is clean and spacious. The kitchen utensils could use some up dating, other then that there is everything you will need. 20 minutes from Downtown Kelowna but did not hit condensed traffic. Loved our stay.

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful home. My family attended a wedding nearby, so we hoped to find a place that could accommodate all of us comfortably & give us a fabulous Okanagan experience. McKinley Landing exceeded our expectations! We all live far away from one another (BC, Alberta, United States), so it was extra special to reunite at such a spectacular location. My parents and siblings have all sent messages reiterating how happy they are that I found this listing! We will miss our morning hot tub sessions, catching up as we watch float planes take off and land on the water.

The property was a great fit for the three families we had in it. The views are amazing, and sitting on the deck having dinner was wonderful. The house was great for the kids because it has nice big rooms and no stairs. The property is nice and secluded so you have a lot of privacy but its still close to all amenities. Allison the property manager was very accommodating and professional and had all issues handled immediately. All the people on the trip were very happy with the house. The only recommendation that I would make is that the cook wear be upgraded. The pots and pans were of a pretty poor quality and when you are cooking for 10 people its nice to have good cook wear. Great house for adults and kids and I would definitely book it again.

We all relaxed as soon as we stepped on the property. The surroundings were peaceful and the views beautiful. Loved the deer family wandering around. As a party of adults we would have preferred a single bed in the smallest bedroom, rather than the bunk beds, but that was just a small point. The home was well equipped and spacious. We enjoyed our stay at this McKinley Landing house, it was perfect for our family reunion. The view on the Okanagan lake is spectacular, much more spectacular than the pictures on the VRBO site. Great deck and lots of space in the house. I recommend it without a doubt. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à cette maison située à McKinley Landing, c'était parfait pour notre réunion de famille.
