We liked the location. Had fun boating and time as a family.

We went up to Michigan for a family reunion, and this location was 2 minutes from where a large portion of the group was staying but provided much more space and accommodations for our smaller family unit. Lee and Bill were very communicative and helpful with a few small questions I had. Overall, it was a great experience for us!

The property was everything it was advertised as and much more.. we were very comfortable in the dwelling and the location is awesome!! You can’t get much closer to everything you need with the feeling of a wilderness adventure.. we had deer in the yard twice a day, turkeys, red headed woodpeckers.. just an abundance of wildlife..
we would book this home again in a heartbeat!!

Great house, great location
Owners actually greeted my Son who checked in before we made it up North. Very friendly, very easy to work with. A block away from Vivio's (great restaurant), right down the road from the State Park, and a short drive to Petoskey and other attractions. Excellent spot.

Everything We Needed
The property was just as described plus more. I’ve never stayed in a place that thought of everything. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, even a curling iron. Spices, aluminum foil, ice, coffee, it was all there. Good communication with the owners via messages. Nice quiet area. Don’t hesitate to rent this home.

Not as expected
We were disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. It has an ant problem too. It may require fumigation at some point. The location was very quiet, except the neighbors did not respect the quiet times.

Good location, plenty of room
This was our home base for a high school fishing tournament. Lots of room in the driveway for boats & trailers. The location was convenient access to both lakes, downtown, restaurants, launches, etc. Plenty of space for 6 guests. We did not use all the amenities, but kitchen is fully stocked, laundry was convenient, and even a firepit was on site.

Good location
The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a big back yard. It is within walking distance to Cross in the Woods and Vivio’s. It has lots of parking and the garage is also available for parking or storage. The house is clean and roomy. Great location to everything up north!

Vacation before grand baby come.
This location was great, easy on and off the highway. But not too near the highway. Making it easy to get to the Bridge, Cheboygan and Petoskey.

Excellent place to stay! Our family stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of the area.
The house was as it was advertised. The property owners were great with communication and easily able to get in touch with. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The location was excellent especially for the short trip to the UP and Mackinaw City. We plan to stay here again!

Clean and comfortable
We rented Lee and Bill’s cottage for a week-long vacation in our favorite city in Michigan.
Everything was clean, beds were super comfortable and overall it was a very accommodating place to stay.

Great location for vacationing
This home was a great spot for our week long vacation up in God's Country. Cross in the Woods, and Burt Lake are less than mile away while Petoskey area, Lake Michigan, Mackinaw, Boyne, Gaylord and Cheboygan are 30 minutes or less away. There is also a playground across the street.
The home has all the basic amenities you need to get away. It has Comfortable beds and a nice grill for cooking out. The only minor complaints that we had were that the hot water took a little while to warm up and there wasn't a fire pit in the backyard. Otherwise,
We look forward to coming back again.

Great owners, great house
Lee and Bill were very proactive and responsive when needed. The house is large, comfortable, and recently decorated. The cleaning crew, who arrived promptly at 10 am on check out day, are pleasant and do a nice job, especially with the linens. We enjoyed watching five deer and a tom turkey with his four hens wander the backyard every day. Very peaceful and the neighbors on both sides waved hello.
My only caution, which you can easily solve, is the DISH TV rarely showed a full picture, which we joked and said we were watching Picasso, but no worries there is a DVD player and Ken's Grocery store carries rentals (or pack your own), and the house has wifi internet but it is slow so pack books and enjoy a true vacation.
Over the past 20 years, I have booked many places in Indian River and this by far beats out all of the area hotels and comparable cabins.
