About this house rental
Honeysuckle House is a single story home on a corner lot with a nice back yard.
This one level, furnished home features a great room with cathedral ceiling, dining room next to the living room with a pass through to the eat-in-kitchen with granite counters and tile backsplash, pantry, sun room and large patio.
The third bedroom has an en suite bath with walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. All bedrooms have two twin long beds for a total of six beds. There is a washer and dryer on site for your convenience.
There is a 40" LED TV in the living room and DVD player.
We are located on a corner lot assuring you of ample parking in a quiet neighborhood.
The home is close to area eatery favorites, including Sal's for excellent to-go or eat-in subs, salads, pizza and Italian favorites; York Street Grill and Snappers Casual Family Dining. Plus many more restaurants on main street and the Carlisle Pike.
The Honeysuckle House is convenient to many attractions in the area including Hershey, Carlisle, Boiling Springs, Enola, Camp Hill, Harrisburg, the Dutch Country and Gettysburg. We have easy access to Pennsylvania Turnpike, PA and Interstate highways.
Pleasant View Park is a short walking distance from the Honeysuckle House with a walking trail, playground equipment, pavilion, tennis and volley ball courts.
Mechanicsburg is a quaint village with several eateries and gift shops. The Joseph T. Simpson Public Library is located on 16 N. Walnut Street. The Sweet Remembrances Victorian Tea Room and The Rosemary House are great places to visit.
Just across the Susquehanna River is Harrisburg, the Capital of Pennsylvania, where you can visit the State Capital, the State Museum and the Civil War Museum.

The house was spotlessly clean. The well stocked kitchen was wonderful - anything you could think of needed for cooking. We spend alot of time enjoying the 3 season room.

The Home was very cute and "clean as a whistle". It was located in a quiet, nice development, and it was very easy drive from Carlisle, where my 2 friends and I attended an event at the fairgrounds. The home was well equipped, and you could even park in the garage!
Overall, it was the nicest rental experience we have had for Carlisle, and we have been going there for about 8 years!
We will definitely try to secure it again in the future!

Very nice property in great residential neighborhood. Great communication and there were absolutely no surprises. There was everything you could need and more, including complimentary fruit and cheese upon arrival.
We had 6, which was perfect as there are 6 beds.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! My parents were in town visiting from Utah and it was perfect. The home had fresh flowers welcoming us as well as a tray of fresh fruit and cheese!! Wonderful home would definitely stay here again!

This is our annual buddies trip to AACA Hershey fall swap meet. The house met our needs perfectly. Karen (our host) communicated with me the entire process. Check in was easy. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. They even had fresh fruit for us upon arrival (definitely the healthiest food we ate all week). Very nice stay. Thank you Karen.

My adult sons and I stayed at this property for the long weekend of my sister’s wedding. The property was absolutely perfect for this occasion and had a great central location. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The house was immaculate and inviting. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this well maintained property. After a day of travel it was wonderful to see the fruit tray, cheese and extra water The property manager was easy to work with and quick to respond. The twin size beds were comfortable, however it would have been nice to have at least one king or queen size bed.

Too many rules about cleaning, even though I paid a cleaning fee through VRBO there was a list of things to do, made us feel uncomfortable.

Lovely home!
Honeysuckle House was perfect for six of us attending a family reunion from out of state! The house is lovely, in a nice neighborhood, & is spotless! The extra touches were so thoughtful…fresh flowers, chocolates, cheese & fruit, bag of ice in freezer, spring water for coffee, and the most towels ever! The beds were really comfortable and I have never had access to the garage in a VRBO property before…very convenient. We were so comfortable here and wished we had even more time. I went for a walk one morning where I met friendly neighbors and their adorable dogs, too! Highly recommend…thank you for everything!

All the Comforts of Home...
We had a marvelous stay. Perfect location, beautiful home, with so many extras and very comfortable. Our favorite spot was sitting around the kitchen table having coffee watching the rabbits and birds out the window. Such a great way to start the day.

This was the perfect place for our family of adults. We all had our own bed, which was great! The kitchen is very well stocked. My mom has a walker and this was very accessible for her. All the special extra touches like the water, chocolate, fruit plate, and cheese were very appreciated. The location was also great!! Thank you for a great stay!!
