We loved the atmosphere of the home, how light it was and how well equipped the kitchen and home were

it was fairly private, only one Neighbor. It’s basically a dead end with a class six road that goes through, but only four wheelers and heavily modified vehicles can make it through. We saw the wildlife we seen at a vacation home-porcupine eating the apples in the apple tree, frogs and ducks in the pond, a mama black bear, and her three cubs that it is visited the apple tree at the next-door neighbors pond every day. we also saw owls and deer. there is a pollinator garden so we saw lots of hummingbirds, butterflies, and bumblebees. The house has everything you need to cook with one exception, a rolling pin. we had one of the best Vermont vacations we’ve had in years.

We went up in December to Ski Okemo. This is a great house and has all amenities including an awesome fireplace and large eating area. Great location for two of three families to go away together and enjoy VT!

My family (2 adults 2 kids and our dog) plus another family (1 adult 2 kids) spent 2 nights and 3 full days at this wonderful cabin. The home and the grounds are absolutely amazing, we didn’t want to leave! Everything was clean. Beds were comfy. The fire was fantastic (thanks for all the wood!). We hope to be back soon and for a much longer trip!

This house was perfect for our family ski weekend! Full of charm and amenities!
The property is amazing! Super location - close to Okemo, Killington and Pico! The “kids” went to each of them! Then Mount Snow on way home! Would love to return in the summer or fall!
We especially enjoyed the mini duck hunt!!!!

Throughout the many years that we have traveled to Vermont, my family and I have never come across the cities of Belmont and Mount Holly, so we came to the property with eagerness. However, we didn't expect to fall so deeply in love with both the property and the house itself. This was especially true in regard to my husband, who loved eating outside on the deck with the beautiful view of the mountains and spending time around the pond. This was a great place to bring our dogs as well. The house itself was very clean, and the abundance of bedrooms had us talking about bringing more family and friends the next time we visit.
The only recommendation that we have, is to add more seating in the TV room, since we had a hard time fitting ourselves on that one couch. Even if it's just an extra chair.
Until next season or next year...

This was my husbands and my second time staying at this wonderful property and we hope to be back again. It's so quiet and peaceful. Our dog Hazel had plenty of room to run around for a game of fetch and enjoyed a swim in the pond. We enjoyed watching the birds as they took advantage of the plentiful fruit trees and flowers gardens. We also had the pleasure of watching a thunderstorm roll in over the mountains. Truly a wonderful stay.

Property is absolutely outstanding. It's a shame that there is a double layer of VRBO and Vacasa for your customer service needs.

My family really enjoyed our time at this rental. It was perfect for our ski trip to Okemo. The house is in a lovely setting that I’m sure is gogrgeous in warmer weather but was still beautiful in the snow. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is that the furniture, specifically the couches were not very clean. There were stains it was dirty. We were ok with it because it wasn’t that bad but this is a quaint old house and if you are looking for something new and shiny, look elsewhere. Basically, the pictures and description are a good depiction.

Beautiful, unique and welcoming home in great location on a cul de sac with amazing views of Okemo. Rooms and bedding were comfortable as were the living spaces! Kitchen was fully stocked as was firewood for the fireplace. Decor, books and tons of games made for an interesting experience! The views were breathtaking and proximity to Okemo and local shopping were convenient.

We are a quiet and neat family who have enjoyed 6 different VRBO summer rentals over the years. This home was an excellent choice -- remote enough to be refreshing, yet with easy access to adventures and shopping.
A few quibbles: Property management was a bit overly present, looking for feedback on the house within 10 minutes of our arrival, and too soon after leaving. The refrigerator didn't refrigerate until we cleaned the compressor coils at the back. We had to resupply dish washing detergent, trash bags and toilet paper ourselves -- the first time we've had to do that at a VRBO rental.
Overall, however, we were most satisfied with our stay, and would definitely return to this location again. Thanks!

Amazing Stay
My wife, myself and our baby stayed here for 4 days and will absolutely be coming back.
The property was secluded yet easy to get to. The first thing we noticed upon entering was how clean it was inside.
There was so much room to spread out and everything that we needed to give us the comforts of home were provided.
The property itself was incredible with the pond and an amazing view. There were great, small hikes right near by that we greatly enjoyed.
My one con was that the booking is through an agency rather than the owner. The individual was very responsive to my questions but I prefer to actually be speaking to the homeowner. There wasn’t a welcome book or anything for the house either so it took a few minutes to figure out how to find and use a few things such as the heat.
Overall, an amazing stay that I would not hesitate to book again.

Spring skiing weekend
My family and I stayed over for four nights to go skiing. Due to the warm and rainy weather we only got to ski at Okemo for one day. However we all enjoyed the stay. It was clean, comfortable and close to the mountains.

Skiing at Okemo
The Mt. Holly house was cozy and very roomy with a fabulous fireplace. The owners stocked plenty of wood in the basement which was very much appreciated. It’s a beautiful property with gorgeous views and plenty of land for snowshoeing. The driveway and the road made for excellent sledding for our little ones. The house was a bit cluttered, lots of knickknacks, but we had room for our things. The only complaint was that the heat only worked in one bedroom and bath, but the common areas had heat. Thankfully, there were plenty of down quilts.

The perfect vacation
Our first time to Vermont was in 2019 when we rented this house and we were so pleased with it we rented it again this week. It is the cleanest, nicest and most beautiful lot we have seen. The owners are great hosts and will do anything to make sure you enjoy your stay. They have decorated it wonderfully. You truly feel like your at home there. My kids loved running and playing in the pond. There are plenty of comfy places in the house to sit and relax. We plan to book it every year that the owners are willing to share it. We are always sad to leave it!

Mount Holly retreat
Booked this property in January 2021 for an October Vermont Fall Foliage getaway. The house was everything we expected based on the listing. Owners notes were written with detail making everything easy. Clean and spotless, house was perfect for all our needs, quiet setting overlooking the mountains couldn’t have asked for a better place. Views, views & views!

A great getaway!
This lovely house was stocked with everything we could want, and the property was amazing for strolling (and the occasional swim). Views are excellent. Our group of friends had a great reunion here, relaxing on the deck, snuggling up around the fire on cool nights, cooking together in the kitchen. I recommend this house without any hesitation!

Quintessential New England Home
We stayed here for a week in the summer and it was divine. This is the quintessential New England home - full of historic charm, surrounded by natural beauty, and absolutely practical. The house suited all of our needs, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and every inch of the house was clean. We enjoyed sitting on the porch to take in the picture-perfect view, and taking the dog for walks around the gorgeous trees, flowers, hills, pond, and lawn. The home itself is a destination but we enjoyed so much in the surrounding area as well - Okemo, Buttermilk Falls, the VT Country Store, Woodstock, Sugarbush and Billings Farms, the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site, Lake Champlain and the Ben & Jerry’s Factory. We can tell that this home is a very special place and we thank the hosts for sharing it with us.

Very spacious
This home had ample space and parking. The street is pretty steep when you first turn off the main road, which was not a problem for us since it had not snowed in a while, but I could imagine it being tough for smaller cars in the snow - just good to prep for FYI!

Pure relaxation
Great place. Perfect for the family for the week. Loved that the tc is in a separate room than the fire place, especially with kids. The place was well stocked with everything from fire wood to frying pans. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Views!
My wife, 3 adult children and and I had a very nice 5-night stay here Columbus Day weekend 2020. Check in was done online and the key was in a lock box on the door which made for easy access on arrival. The house sits on a very large property, with grassy areas, small pond, and nearby woods. The view from the living room is fantastic! Lovely deck with the same views. The dining room is beautiful, with a large table that accommodates 8 easily. The living room and den are comfortable, though some worn furniture. The first floor bedroom and bath are cozy. Stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but the bedrooms and baths up there are relatively spacious, though the bathrooms are dated. We were all pretty comfortable. We enjoyed looking through the owner's photos and mementos from their extensive travel!
Highly recommend this house. Would love to return at some point!

Calming retreat with anazing views
We were thrilled with the size and homey-ness of this wonderful mountain home. The house was great, everything you could need was thought of. Watching the morning sun on the autumn landscape with a good cup of coffe was amazing, and there were so many great hiking trails on property and within a short drive.
We truly enjoyed our stay and the perfect venue to enjoy time with family. We hope to visit again!
We were without hot water the first night as the boiler pilot light was out, but kudos to Ryan on the Vacasa maintenance team who got it corrected first thing the morning we contacted them.

Beautiful sanctuary
We stayed for the weekend. I had been desperate for mountain air and stars. This trip did not disappoint. We did a little .5 mi in and out in the woods on the property. We even saw the comet from the deck!! Our only disappointment was the smell of dog and bit of dog hair on the couch. But for those of you with dogs I am not sure you’d notice or care. Owner does advertise as dog friendly. Owner has tastefully decorated the house with trip memorabilia which is fun to look at! It’s a lovely home and we’re grateful.

Magical mountain hideaway
Loved loved loved the space. So many nice rustic touches and charm in this spacious but quaint getaway. Felt so cozy and homey, like I had already lived there once before. Great for my family and 2 dogs. The dogs and my nephew could not get enough of the yards.
So much room to run and play. My mom painted the amazing view on canvas. The evening stars are breathe-taking. Wish I could stay a month :). Beds very comfortable, water pressure perfect.

Loved our extended 18 day stay!
We loved getting away 'off the grid' for a few weeks given all that is happening around us with the Pandemic. Loved the cozy home and the amazing views!!!!!! The fireplace got plenty of use and all of the stacked wood in the basement came was a great perk! We enjoyed taking hikes on the vast property as well as nearby. Also enjoyed snowshoeing and the kids even put on their skis after making a small jump on the property's hill. Only thing I would mention- Would have been good to know up front that there is no cell service. We only found this out after we reserved the property (in confirmation). We would have still reserved the property but it would have been good to know. However - we were able to use the wifi for internet access (calling over wifi is a bit spotty- worked for some of my family). But.......... that's the only thing I would mention. We hope to come back to the home. Loved our stay! Thank you homeowner !!!! ps-- Felt so strange to pack up and leave after spending 18 days here.

Private, neat as a pin...perfect weekend
We had a wonderful couple of days in your beautiful home. Reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse - loved it! The house was very clean, had plenty of space, and was a perfect base for our ski vacation. We got rained/iced out day one and had a great day hanging out in front of the fireplace catching up on our reading. Your snowplow driver did the neatest job ever the following morning. We would love to come back again - what a great place!!

Peaceful getaway
The location and view from this home is fantastic. Waking up every morning to mountains out the windows. Only 13 minutes to Okemo and 35 minutes to Bear Lodge/Killington. Will definitely stay here again. Our Golden Retriever also enjoyed being able to stay with us. So much land to roam.
