Greta was very welcoming, showed us around a large spacious nicely furnished space. Underground parking space with elevator to apartment floor. Town/Chateau minutes away. Apartment large furnished balcony overlooks a pedestrian space with cafe, tourism office, ice cream. Small grocery store couple buildings down. AC used at night. Greta met us at check out. Very pleased.

Location
The location was perfect.
Lourmarin is a perfect base for day trips
And it is very charming lots of restaurants to choose from. It has it's own market on friday which was great.
We had a car so the garage was vital.
Would highly reccomend and go back

Excellent
The property met our expectations with good facilities and a most convenient location. The underground parking was particularly helpful in view of the very high (not usual for the time of year) temperatures during our stay. We will certainly consider returning

Location & Layout perfect.
We stayed in this well appointed and spacious apartment for a week in October. It was modern and nicely situated above the old town commons/main plaza.
In this apartment you are in the heart of the village of Lourmarin, in walking distance to all the wonderful cafes, restaurants, galleries, green spaces, and historical sites of the most precious and well appointed hill town in Provence, and set within driving distance to fabulous day trips like Avignon, Aix en Provence, Marseilles, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Isle sur la Sorgue, Apt, Menerbes etc. and all the wonderful weekly markets of the Luberon. Our favorites were Tuesday in Cucuron and Friday in Lourmarin. (the market is right below the apt on the square)
So much space and comfort with convenient assigned secure parking down below and easy elevator access to the quiet and lovely apartment. Extra large bedrooms, comfortable beds with nice linens, a fully equipped kitchen with more gadgets and spices than you could cook with, two nice showers, indoor laundry and large patio for enjoy morning and evening coffee or tea with a cool breeze and good light.
Groceries and fármacie right on site!
The greeting hostess, Greta is very nice and a wealth of information and suggestions for tailoring your experience in the French countryside. Finally, the unit has a wonderful mini library of fiction and reference books, mags, maps and regional tour guides. Don’t hesitate to book this apartment.
Very grateful for our time in France in this fantastic rental.
We hope to return again and again.

A well appointed apartment in an ideal location in the beautiful village of Lourmarin.
Our 10 day stay in the village was made more enjoyable by our choice of accommodation. The first floor apartment was located in a block of apartments overlooking the village square. It is a lively square from Friday (market day) through to Sunday afternoon - where local craft and artists have stalls all weekend.
We thoroughly enjoyed the village atmosphere and dining in local restaurants and cafes. By the end of our stay the local cafe staff knew our regular coffee and drink orders. Lourmarin is a perfect central base for discovering the surrounding villages and even the French coast for a day trip and a swim.
Our host Greta was very friendly and informative on our arrival making us feel right at home in the town. Thank you to our hosts for a comfortable stay.

Stylish & comfortable apartment a delight
We spent three wonderful summer weeks in this stylish apartment. It is perfectly located overlooking the market square - close to day-to-day village life, but away from the touristy cafe precinct. And, the underground car park and lift are a rare bonus.
The apartment is even lovelier than the photos depict, roomy and very comfortable. Plentiful storage space allowed us to unpack and settle in for our stay with our bags out of out of sight - and out of mind.
We love preparing meals from local produce and the well-equipped kitchen made that very easy. We had a glass of rosé and dinner on the balcony most evenings.
The local market is as vibrant and colourful as everyone has said. But our absolute favourite was the small Producers’ Market and cooking demonstrations held on Tuesday evenings from May – October at the former fruit co-operative just across the road from the rear of the apartment building. In the few minutes it took for one of us to return to the apartment with our produce, the other would buy a couple of very reasonably-priced glasses of wine and grab a table. Then we'd relax in the late-afternoon sunshine, with our wine and a pre-dinner snack conjured up from our market purchases while watching a local chef make simple 'Street Food' for tasting. Bliss!
Lourmarin proved an ideal base for exploring; we made good use of the Provence Byways guide provided in the apartment, and even purchased a downloadable copy of our own.
We were welcomed warmly at our favourite café just below – La Reserve - where our coffees were often delivered without us even having to order.
We would love to return to Lourmarin and the apartment in the future.

Celebration!
We brought my sister to Lourmarin to celebrate her 70th birthday. This charming apartment was our staging ground. It was perfect for enjoying all of Lourmarin by foot so we often did not have to take the car out of the garage. It was central to traveling to the other villages near Lourmarin. We loved discovering all the nearby treasures, going to evening concerts awakening to the market sounds in the plaza, enjoying the comforts of the apartment. Our hostess was charming and assured our comfort throughout. Thank you!

Magic
This is truly a gem of a place in a magical part of the world. Not only is the location incredible but the apartment has a tranquil feel to it, so that even though you are overlooking a square, you feel so calm and relaxed inside. Thank you for sharing this special place with us. We ate incredible food, drank great rose, spent our days wondering around, and on Friday we could not get enough of the superb local market. The village is also perfectly located for day trips to surrounding villages or for a drive to the coast for a swim in the sea. Just perfect.

Wonderful apartment in the most beautiful village in the Provence area.
What a great apartment in the centre of the village. The apartment overlooks the square which is filled with a huge local market on Fridays. The apartment is a great size, 2 large bedrooms, large modern bathroom, second separate toilet with another separate shower and laundry. The kitchen is very well equipped with bosch stove, separate oven, microwave, large fridge and dishwasher. Everything you would need to cook is there. We enjoyed several home cooked meals while staying at the apartment. Lourmarin is a beautiful village, one of the nicest in Provence and centrally located so our travels each day took us on many adventures. There is a resturant right below the apartment along with a wine store and a small grocery store very close. The bakery is right up the street. What more could you ask for. We loved the apartment and would highly recommend it to fellow travellers. The covered underground parking was a big plus. It was perfect for a relaxing stay in beautiful Lourmarin.

30 th anniversary
We loved the apt and perfect for a home base for travel. The apt has all the needed items and then some. The pictures are as true as the experience. Grete was the perfect hostess. She did such a great job orientating us to the town and apt we did not have to contact her at all during our stay. On one day we had breakfast in Provence, lunch in Monte Carlo, dinner in Italy and back "home" in 12 hours. Vincent your apt and your communication with us was seamless. We hope to return and stay longer and will refer our friends. Please use us as a reference. Mark and Kathi Mansfield Atlanta Georgia USA

Great Apartment
We had the privilege to share this lovely apartment with another couple for 2 weeks and what a wonderful apartment it turned out to be. We have travelled to France for 10 years now and this is by far the best apartment we have ever found. The rooms are spacious with very large cupboards, the kitchen has all the appliances, cutlery, utensils, glasses and crockery that one needs to make food and enjoy it at the dining table which can seat 6 or even 8. This was very useful when other friends came for dinner. The outside terrace is lovely to sit and read and enjoy drinks overlooking the big open square. It also overlooks the Friday Market which is the best Market we have ever been to. The basement parking proved to be a blessing as the street parking gets taken up very quickly. The elevator was particularly welcome when we returned laden with packets and parcels and our arrival and departure with the luggage too !!! The extra shower and extra toilet made sharing with another couple so much more usable and convenient - all our previous places had one bathroom and mostly the toilet was in it aswell. The friendly lady who welcomed us named Greta was a pleasure to deal with. We will use this apartment again and can recommend this apartment without hesitation. The village of Lourmarin must just be the prettiest village in the whole of France !!!

This apartment was great. My husband & I are seniors and stairs are an issue.
We had underground secure parking with an elevator to the apt. It sits on the main square but Lourmarin is a small town and noise was not an issue at all. The Friday market was lovely and upscale, great buys. The apt is well furnished with a great kitchen, laundry and two bathrooms with showers. Great for more than one couple. The owner and Grethe who looks after the apt were wonderful to deal with. Would certainly highly recommend to anyone.

Delighted couple from NY
On behave of my wife, we like to thank you for the great apartment you furnished for us 7/29-8/1/11. We loved the apartment. A modern apartment like you think you are in a big city. Balcony overlooking the square. We were not there for market day as that was our move in day. we got there 3PM from Cavallion's market. Greta waited for us and was very gracious. She spent time with us and even came back with the internet codes. Great recommendations to some dining in neighboing towns. There was one place we went to where you eat what they cook that day in a hamlet setting with vine and lavendor fields. They had these local apperitif that you cant get anywhere. They had this le plat serviced on a tray with 15 ot 18 little dishes of finger food(comme tapas).
The kitchen was so well equiped we went to morning markets, buy food and cook dinner. The town of Coucoron was where Russel Crowe and Marion (A beautiful year) had the dinner date at the etang! Love the apartment. The market in Apt on Staurday was awesome. As good if not better than the ones in Il sur la Sorge and St Remy.
Will probably be back in December

Absolutely perfect
The apartment is an absolute delight. Perfectly situated on the square (with the village market unfolding below the baclony on Fridays), and 30 seconds walk from all the street cafe's, the two little supermarkets, and the boulanger we've become addicted to.
From the comfortable bedrooms (lots of spacious cupboards to unpack the suitcase), to the neat and clean bathrooms (biggest shower I've seen in France) the enjoyable living area, and perfectly equipped kitchen, the whole experience over-delivered against expectation.
And, of course, having a garage for the car and an elevator for the heavy suitcases at the very reasonable rates, just add the final touches of perfection.
With so many beautiful villages to choose from, it was only after more than a week of exploration that we realized Lourmarin was an inspired (and lucky) choice. Just the right size, with real Provencal atmosphere, incredible architecture, and breathtaking colours and textures. (And we haven't seen a tourist bus yet ..)
We adore the apartment, we are absolutely in love with Lourmarin, and Provence is an unforgettable experience.
We'll be back.
