We had a wonderful stay!

Although we didn’t use any of the attractions—lake, shopping in the cute town of Bridgton, it would have been fun. We were up for our grandson’s wedding. The one suggestion we would make is for the owners to add a dishwasher. Since the tenants are asked to clean, strip beds, etc (despite a hefty cleaning fee that is charged), it would be helpful if there was a dishwasher. Fortunately we only had a couple of glasses a cups to handwash. The owners were vert pleasant and allowed us to check in early. We would recommend this house to others!

Spent the weekend for a father son getaway. Water access from the house was great. Really quick ride (< 5 mins) to downtown Bridgeton so we could pop down to a restaurant or bar. Maureen and Bill were friendly, welcoming and gracious hosts. Would stay here again, it was everything we were looking for.

Super easy to launch boat—boat launch almost next door! Very comfy and quiet. Close to Bridgton.

The house was nice for the seven of us and the location on the lake was fantastic. It is nestled in the woods but just a mile walk to a grocery store and downtown area.

The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Furnished simply and clean. Hosts were helpful, hospitable, and friendly. Nice to have view of the lake from the house and the dock was perfect for our boat. Thank you!

Everything from the initial booking was perfect! The owners communicated with me right from the start answering lots of questions i had about water access, boat mooring etc. This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 6!! Plus 2 on a night my parents came to visit! There is a short 200ft walk to a private sandy beach only shared with the property owners. The house was clean and well equipped. You dont need to bring anything. It was nice to have a private bathroom away from all the kids. The cove the house is on is super quiet and close enough to a sandbar you can easily kayak to it. We had an incredible stay and have already booked it for next year! Cant wait to get back! Thanks from Travis, Stephanie and all our kids!!!

Everything was as advertised. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Perfect small beach and dock area where my kids loved swimming and catching fish.
Maureen & Bill were helpful with info about the lake and the area. This place is a 5 min drive from downtown Bridgton which made it easy to get groceries, go to Rennys and there are several good restaurants close by as well.
Definitely a prime family vacation spot!

My family and I were all pleasantly surprised by this cute and cozy cabin. We enjoyed the open kitchen and gathering in the living room together. Even with 7 adults, there was ample room for all. Maureen and Bill are such friendly hosts and easy to communicate with. We had a few requests about our stay and questions about the kayaks out back and they always responded graciously and quickly. The house was also a short drive to the Fryeburg Fair. Peace, quiet, and beautiful lake views...one couldn't ask for more!

We really love this vacation rental. It is clean, comfortable and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. It is convenient to Bridgton, too. I love having my morning coffee on the dock , watching the wildlife. Pondicherry park is nice for a walk, we hiked Bald Pate and Hawk mountains. Would highly recommend!

We had such a great stay in Bridgton. The property owners were beyond helpful when needed and the house had plenty of space for my family of 4.

The house was lovely and the hosts were fantastic. Our family loved the private sandy beach and the lake.

The house is very representative of the pictures. The house is not directly on the lake but set back a bit. You have to walk down a path to get to the water. The hosts supplied fishing rods which the kids loved. Access to kayaks and paddle boards as well! Bridgton is a VERY small town. Food options are minimal so come prepared. Chatted with Bill a few times. He was a very good (and funny) host! I would recommend staying at the lake house!

Bill and Maureen are excellent hosts. The property is as advertised and more. The location is great. The hosts are very accommodating and the finishes are what you would expect in your own home. Things that we needed were readily available and even things we forgot to bring were available for use. The location itself is A+++. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Bill and Maureen—the home is awesome and we are hoping to rent again next year!

We had a lovely, relaxing week. Bedrooms are ample, kitchen had everything we needed. Pretty view from the deck and it was just a short walk to the beach w/ kayaks. Home was very peaceful and tucked away, but is a very short drive to town.

Great location
We had a wonderful time at this property. It is secluded, yet close to all you need in the Bridgton area. The home was clean, well taken care of and had all the kitchen items you could ever need! The children loved the outdoor space with the toys, basketball hoop and swing. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay again. Thank you for sharing your home!

The cottage was perfect for an autumn weekend getaway in Maine. The house was very comfortable for our family of four and in a great location, close to the shops and restaurants in Bridgton. We appreciated the lit fire when we arrived to make us feel at home! The only minor thing that was missing was dishwasher but it was not a problem for our short stay.

We enjoyed staying at this spacious home with easy access to the local town and a nice beach with kayaks to use on the large lake (very short walk to the beach). Has a nice outdoor deck and area in woods to sit. Great that it had a washer dryer, two bathrooms, and a very large kitchen area. Quiet area (no road noise).

Awesome Maine Vacation
Check in was easy (via lock box), the cottage was clean and updated. The kitchen was well stocked. The kayaks and SUP were fun, we paddled to the sandbar everyday. We also saw the bald eagles every day. The lake water was still warm. Although the cottage is quiet,, downtown Bridgton is minutes away. We also hiked Bald Pate mountain and canoed the Saco River. The cottage is highly recommended!

Love lake life!
This property was the perfect getaway for our family of 8! We loved the dock and spent our days kayaking and enjoying the beautiful views. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and it was a great home away from home. Bill and Maureen were quick to respond with a question we had, and Maureen also introduced herself at the beginning of our stay. We would love to come back to spend a week on the lake again. Thank you for sharing your home so we could get a taste of lake life!

Perfect getaway!
We returned home yesterday from our trip to Maureen and Bill’s home in Brigton, Maine and Wow! What a wonderful home and getaway it was! Everything was extremely clean and new looking. There was lots of space and we were extremely comfortable. The lakeside area was the best of any house we’ve ever stayed at. It’s perfect for little kids, sandy and shallow with gradual entry. They provided many kayaks and life jackets to use too which was wonderful! The washer and dryer was a huge perk!!! Clothes got dirty fast for our 11,8 and 2 year old so being able to wash that stuff made life much easier! We had a lot of fun shopping for antiques and walking the little downtown area which is maybe 5 minutes away. My family and I highly recommend this home, thank you again Maureen and Family!!!

Paradise
First time a VRBO listing was 100 percent truthful. The house is just about brand new from pillar to post. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN. The gas grill tank was full, with a full one on stanby. The small walk to the private (shared with owner( beach was awesome. The lake, the loons and the close encounters with the eagles were exquisite. Just pulling in the driveway you could feel your blood pressure drop. The whole setting was simply pure relaxation. Sitting on the deck, sipping a beer and playing guitar was exactly what i needed. Bill and Maureen ( and the grandkids and Elsa) could not have been nicer or more accommodating . We will definitely be going back. No wonder why it books so fast. Oh bring your own pillows.

My family and I had a wonderful time. Being able to have our own little private beach to swim and play was great. Also use of the dock for our boat and to fish off of with the kids was even better. The house was perfect for us and very clean upon arrival. The owners were wonderful. I would highly recommend this rental.
