This lovely Mediterranean villa is inviting, comfortable and located in the upscale Surf Side Villas of the Aruba Racquet Club community near the Ritz Carlton hotel. Just a 5-minute walk to beautiful Palm Beach, and minutes away from Tierra del Sol Golf Club, shopping malls, 5-star restaurants and casinos. Whether you decide to load up the beach gear and enjoy one of the numerous white sand beaches with clear blue water (all beaches in Aruba are public), adventure to the “rough” side of the island where the waves come crashing in, or enjoy a cocktail on the patio, you are sure to capture the beauty and hospitality Aruba has to offer. However you spend your vacation, Sandy’s Retreat provides a comfortable and luxurious base from which to explore this beautiful island. It’s not called “One Happy Island” for nothing!
Sandy’s Retreat has 3 beautifully custom decorated bedrooms, 2 full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, open floor plan with seating for 10 at the teak dining table indoors and additional seating outdoors on the front/back porches with pave stoned backyard and BBQ area. 2015 renovations include new air conditioning throughout, new windows and doors, mirrored closets, smart TV’s, and expanded wi-fi. This house was designed as a family retreat and has been in our family since it was built in 2006. We are excited to share it with you and know you will love it and Aruba as much as we do. Of any vacation spot, Aruba is rated as the #1 return destination!

Beautiful home with a great location. Italian Resturant 1 min away. Pool and tennis courts available at the club 3 min walk away. I will stay here when we come back next year!

We were a group of 4 adults, had a wonderful time. Would rent a car to get around, need to do this in advance because cars are in short supply. We drank the water it was great! The pool was under construction so was of no use to us, we went to beaches anyway. Beautiful little cat came to visit every day. Wonderful Time. Thxs again

Wow-from the very start Sandy made sure to answer all of our questions to ensure a wonderful time. The neighborhood is wonderful-peaceful, safe and quiet-the rooms were more spacious than expected and we especially enjoyed the outdoor patio away from the sun after a day of excursions or beaching! There is a path that makes the walk about 12 minutes to a very nice beach by the Ritz. Taxis were super easy to get-there are a few walkable restaurants in the area as well. We did a starting food delivery from Superfoods but found it very easy to restock beer and food by walking to Tings Grocery Store. It felt like home! Having a washer mid-stay was a nice bonus and having a grill was great as well. We rented a car for a few days for the longer trips to Baby Beach and Mangel Halto but much easier to taxi to high rise restaurants and not worry about finding parking. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week at Sandy’s Aruba Retreat and have only good things to say.
It is a beautiful home, inside and out. Three bedrooms and two full baths, with very nice showers and other fixtures. A complete kitchen with oven, gas stove, dishwasher and all the kitchen appliances one would expect, including a Keurig coffee maker. There is an impressive dining room table with seating for ten and a sectional couch with recliners that seats six or so.
A beautiful, walled-in stone patio in the back has a marble table for four, an outdoor shower hose for rinsing off sandy feet and plenty of room to sunbathe. The front patio has a lovely dining table for six.
The home is located in a very nice cul-de-sac next to the Aruba Racquet Club. There is a full size washer and dryer plus a simple to use security system.
Best of all, the host is super nice and helpful, has made the property and rental process very user friendly and gets top marks for communication. Priced very reasonably considering what the home offers. Would definitely recommend and/or use again! Thanks, Sandy!!!! 😊👍

We had a fantastic time at Sandy's house! Sandy is a wonderful host and is very responsive! She answered all of my questions about best beaches and provided me with some tips and gave helpful suggestions. Everything was well organized. She explained the driving directions to her house clearly. We found that the Waze app worked well for us in Aruba. She provided a book in her house with check in/check out rules, how to enter/exit the house, helpful phone numbers, list of great restaurants in the area and the best beaches around. Her house looks even better in real life than in the pictures. It is very spacious! We had a lot of space for 5 people. The place was super clean! The beds were very comfortable including the pull out couch in the living room. The location was very convenient. By car we drove less then 5 min to the best beaches in Aruba with the best snorkeling spots! The supermarket was 6 min away by car and there were many great restaurants, shopping plazas that were within a 5-7 min drive. The beach gear and beach towels were provided including snorkeling equipment. I highly recommend her place to stay at for someone who wants to explore and enjoy Aruba outside of hotels area. This beautiful home was our rental for the week . Very nice to be able to stretch out and have our own space . The kids each had their own space as well which was awesome . Only issue was driving in Aruba as there are very few street signs. Place is close to airport but no 8a sign at first and following roundabouts. Found answer in MAPS.ME app it gave us clear and accurate driving instructions.
So loved the place and location to beaches and downtown. Driving directions were the only issue.

We are first time visitors to Aruba and decided to rent a house for our family of four. The accommodations were perfect for our two week stay. Communication with Sandy was great and the property was great!! We felt right at home!! Beautiful home - we’ll be back!!

Had a great time at this property. From the start of the booking till check-out, very communicative and very responsive. The house is very well equipped, you’ll find everything you’ll need. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The property owners had detailed instructions on how to access property, set alarm system, etc This was my first time staying in a house instead of a hotel and it was definitely worth it. My next trip I will consider staying here again.

Enjoyed our stay
The property was beautiful, even better than the photos indicated. It was spacious and had everything we needed for a great vacation including beach towels and chairs. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to make the place home for a week. There were two things that prevented me from giving this 5 stars. The beds were too hard for our comfort and this impacted the quality of our sleep. There was also construction going on right next door throughout our stay, which the owner obviously has no control over and is a temporary situation, but did result in some early, noisy wake-up calls. Overall, I recommend the property and would rent from Sandy again.

So we were able to go for morning walks on the boardwalk, and in the evenings we went to dinner in the high -rise hotels area without the car (we used our phones as flashlights as there are no lights on the path).
Once again we had an amazing time in Aruba and at Sandy’s place.

Worth the Wait!
This is the 4th time we've stayed at this property and we will continue to come back as often as we can. Perfect location, beautiful home, great communication, extremely clean, awesome front & back patios, wonderful neighborhood. Wonderful home in a great location
We had an amazing time on our vacation at this beautiful home in Aruba. The home was nicely decorated, well furnished, and in a great location for walking to the beach or visiting local restaurants. We stayed for 8 nights and couldn't have been happier. The rooms were perfectly sized, the dining inside and out was perfect and the kitchen had all the necessary cooking utensils. We loved the breeze through the house in the mornings and evenings and found the air conditioning perfect after the day at the beach. The beach chairs, snorkel gear and cooler came in extra handy! We will definitely stay here when returning to Aruba!

Wonderful time in Aruba at Sandy's Retreat!
Very nice home on a cul de sac with the cutest burrowing owls perching on the back wall (we counted six total!) Home was comfortable, we ate on the covered patio and played games there as well. Loved the kitchen - great refrigerator, dishwasher and range. Beds were comfortable, showers had great water pressure and never ran out of hot water. We would definitely stay here again. Very clean, comfortable and accessible.
This home was home away from home. Very accommodating and had all the amenities of home to include a play pen for our 20 month old grandson . Easy to get to with the directions Sandy provided. Liked the key box on the door, made it easy to store the key when we left the house for the day. Thoroughly enjoyed the front porch every morning for breakfast and Gila Monster viewing, which made my day. They provided beach chairs and toys which was a plus since we spent the majority of our time taking in the sun and playing in the sand and water. If we ever go back I wouldn't hesitate to rent from Tom and Sandy again. Their manager was very accommodating and always answered the phone right away. Thank you Tom and Sandy for leaving your binder with suggested restaurants and local activities. That was very helpful especially for new comers. I would definitely recommend your home to anyone I speak with who may be interested in going to Aruba. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. My family and I had a wonderful and memorable stay.

Extraordinaria casa!
La casa era exactamente como aparece en las fotos! Muy bien ubicada a 5 minutos de Palm Beach y muy equipada! La verdad muy por sobre lo esperado. Muy comoda, totalmente funcional. Todo funcionó perfecto y mi familia tuvo unas vacaciones increibles. Se recomienda arrendar auto para ir a la playa (no es distancia caminable con todo el calor) y para conocer toda la isla y todas las playas que existen. Aruba es increible. Todo preparado para pasarlo bien. Llegamos de noche y entramos sin problemas con todas las indicaciones que nos entregaron. Muy cómodo todo. Se recomienda tener alguna aplicacion de mapas dado que las calles no tienen letreros con los nombres, pero se llega muy facilmente. Gracias Sandy por todo y Jefferson que respondió amablemente todo lo que necesitamos (que fueron dudas menores). Totalmente recomendable!

Great Vacation Home
This home is a great family vacation home. It is very clean and well maintained. The house is very close to beaches, stores, and restaurants. This was our second time staying here, and we will definitely rent here again. Love that there are beach chairs and towels to take to the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals if you choose not to eat out. Bedrooms are spacious with nice mattresses. Home owners are very helpful and accommodating!!

Vacation with friends
We returned a few weeks now and wishing we were back at this most magnificent house. It has everything you could ask for on a vacation, including beach chairs, grill, snorkel equipment, washer, dryer and spacious living accommodations. Two wonderful areas to eat or just sit out doors for a cup of coffee.
The house was very clean and in a safe neighborhood with a community pool close by. You have close access to the most beautiful beaches, activities, casinos, shows and if you should wish to eat out you are close to lots of restaurants. This was our first time at this house but we have been going to Aruba for over 25 years and I would highly recommending a stay at this home. Would also like to add that the owners are wonderful and extremely helpful with anything, certainly hope that we get to meet them sometime.

Awesome friend vacation in paradise
We came down to Aruba for the first time with a group of friends. We stayed here and you have everything you need they have beach chair for you to take to the beach. The house is set up wonderfully. The neighborhood is very nice and safe, and you are minutes from beach ,casinos,restaurants,and a cute little grocery store. Thanks Tom and Sandy for letting us enjoy a piece of your paradise.

Beautiful Home
Our family just returned from a fabulous vacation in Aruba. This was our fourth time visiting the island. We loved staying at this house not only because it was clean and had plenty of space, but also because the owner quickly responded to any texts or emails we sent. Also, the owner arranged for the cleaning lady to purchase some groceries for us since Super Foods was closed for two days on our arrival. You can tell the owners use this home themselves and have a vested interest in it as it is well maintained and cared for. The community pool is close and well maintained as well. We would definitely rent this home again.
