My family enjoyed our stay. The children loved playing in the game room and dipping in the hot tub with cold temperature. There were some playing cards for the teens to play. The kids loved going up and down the stairs while adults disliked the stairs.
The adults were all hanging out in the big open space with the living room, kitchen, dining and open deck on the fifth floor. The kitchen was fully stocked, but no vent on top of the stove. We cooked the meat on the bbq grill and side dishes inside instead. The coffee machine didn’t work. We boil water the old fashion way. Very spacious for a large family.
As a typical Lake Tahoe cabin, there are no screens for windows or doors and no AC. My family from out of state were very disappointed and sad after founding that out. The entire house is stocked with fans enough for each room, and a portable water AC in the big open room. We also brought our own fans. All of that helped made the place cooler during peak heat time. At night till morning we kept the windows open to let cool air circulate the house. However there are mosquitos, so bring mosquitoes repellent.
There were two laundry rooms; one on the fifth floor and the other on the third floor. The one on the fifth floor has two pairs of washer and dryer. The one on the third has one pair. We were able to do our kids laundry as kids gets themselves dirty all the time. It’s nice to be able to do your laundry there.
We enjoyed our stay and thank you for having us.

Property host was not responsive to emails and had to be contacted by cell phone 4 days prior to arrival for check-in details. Property is in disrepair and needs upkeep. Here is a list of items that were either broken or needed repair at this property: no screens on property windows (no air conditioner, so windows had to be open and there were lots of bugs/insects), the oven was broken (could not be repaired during the stay), windows were boarded in 1 bedroom, windows were boarded in 1 bathroom, and the kitchen was not stocked with essentials (example, no salt and pepper) as well as stained sheets on one of the beds.

Great management company to work with, very easy to communicate with & the pictures don't do it justice. Absolutely stunning.

Killer location, huge house…a couple of issues but Bev and Tuck made it all work out in the end.
Definitely stairs, but you’re in the mountains…come on. Fun game room and lots of room for stuff.
Bring a four wheel drive or you won’t get up the hill if it snows.
Appreciated the extra effort!

Exactly as described! The place was perfect for our large group to enjoy our time skiing at Palisades. Everything was clean, and kitchen was well stocked. I would definitely come back next time I am in Tahoe!

The house was very large, perfect for a larger group. The location is only a 5 minute drive or shuttle to Palisades in Olympic Valley. The house managers Bev and Tuck where very communicative especially during our arrival during a large snow storm. There are a lot of stairs to get to the main floors of the property just to be aware for guests with accessibility considerations. Thank you for a great ski trip!

Beautiful spacious property unbelievably close to the ski resort. Lots of rooms (also lots of stairs) and a beautiful view. Owners/Managers are wonderful and very accommodating. We will definitely be staying again!

Pros: The house provided ample room for a large party and enough parking. The views were spectacular and the kids had a wonderful time together in the snow and game room.
Cons: When we arrived the house had clearly not been cleaned well or sanitized at all. There was trash and dust in every nook and corner, crumbs and layers of dust on everything. The showers had hairballs and some of the sheet sets appeared to have not been changed. There was black mold on one of the doors from an apparent water leak. The roof leaked in several places and the central air heat didn't work on the lowers (we asked how to get it to work and that request was ignored). Well worn furniture and fixtures, some broken. Painters tape and exposed wires were found, along with broken blinds and unfinished fixes in the house.
We were extremely disappointed at how filthy and worn the house was for the price that we paid for this trip.

Stairs…that will be the key word of your stay at this location. HOWEVER, it’s a great house for a getaway with family and friends! Stairs…the house had several lovely bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our group. Stairs…the kitchen had everything you would need from pots and pans, to utensils and spices. Stairs….the game room was a hit with the kids as well as the hot tub. Stairs…. The location is fantastic in Olympic Valley with views that expand across the meadow and mountain sides. Stairs…the top floor is where the kitchen and 3 master suites are so we spent the majority of our time on that level sipping coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. Stairs….as with many homes in Tahoe, this house has no air conditioning which was a bit uncomfortable on the upper floors when we were there during a heat wave. However, the house has several fans which helped immensely. Stairs….I suggest bringing strong young adults or teens to assist transporting groceries and bags in and out for your stay. No need to bring gym clothes, your workout is built right in!! Overall, we had a great time at this house and we will smile and laugh about our weekend for years to come.
To note, the property manager Tuck was kind and responsive.

Perfect large house for a large get together
This massive house was perfect for a get together with 15 people all aged around 30 years old. Multiple people had to double up in beds but nearly everyone was pleased with the amount of space this home had to offer. It truly was a fantastic place to stay with a large group. The game room was an absolute hit and is where we spent most late nights playing darts and pool.
The house is definitely a rental property/lived in. Examples are blinds to windows broken, door handles not locking, etc. - no deal breakers but can definitely can use some attention. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for large groups!
Stayed at Bev’s place and had a blast! 15m away from Tahoe city. Enough room for all of our 15 guests and surprisingly very comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were awesome amenities - truly no complaints about this place and would 100 percent stay again. Bev was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
There are a lot of stairs - so I would be weary of that if anyone in your group is not able to climb stairs.

Good experience, great property manager
Communication and ease of getting assistance while staying in this cabin was 10/10! Thank you, Tuck.
The cabin has been nicely updated, has king beds in each bedroom, a flatscreen TV in each room, and a fun game room! Hot tub was clean! Kitchen was well-stocked. The home was also quite sound-proof, which was super nice with a few babies napping.
But be warned: the listing does not adequately do justice to the amount of STEEP STAIRS in this cabin. The home is built on 4 levels, straight up the mountain, and is incredibly exhausting to haul suitcases, groceries, etc, into the home upon arrival. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. Also, we traveled to this home in late-June, which is usually pretty mild mountain weather. Days were around 80/85 degrees... yet this home doesn't have A/C, and it got VERY warm inside each afternoon and evening. It was uncomfortable until around 9 pm when the open windows finally cooled things down. Some bedroom windows do not have a screen, which means that your choice is either to sleep in a toasty room, or be eaten by mosquitos.
All around, we had a GOOD EXPERIENCE!!! The home is nice!! But the endless stairs and lack of A/C MUST be taken into account when renting!

Family Getaway
Pros-Enough bedrooms for 10 adults and 4 kids! Having 6 bathrooms was appreciated too.
Cons- the stairs- 2 steep flights just to get to the first level. Amenities in the game room need updating along with some furniture and kitchen items. Ceiling fans and screen doors would help with circulating the air during the summer season. Rooms were very stuffy at night and the bottom level rooms don’t have a bathroom on their floor so guests would have to walk to flights of stairs for bathroom access!

My 40th in Tahoe!
The property was great, though we could have been happier with one less flight of stairs ;)
The hot tub and sauna were great, however, we did find two empty clear shot glass glasses in the bottom of the hot tub the first night we got in.
Tuck was wonderful and we can't wait to do this again!

Cool house and good location just outside of the craziness from Tahoe
This house is very spacious. Entertained a group of guys for a bachelor party perfectly. The bar/game room was a hit.

Girl time
The house is great for a big group! Lots of space. Stairs are a little crazy. We thought it was odd that 2 bedrooms were on a floor with no bathroom. We enjoyed the sports bar area with the pool table and shuffle board. Lovely views.

Great location, about 3 minutes from slopes. House has a lot of options, perfect for a big group

Great location
Great location but you can tell the house is on the older side. It was mostly clean but no deep cleaning has been done. Some doors have holes in them, are old and thin and stick. Some of the chairs and kitchen stools are wobbly. Great kitchen appliances. Stairs are definitely a deterrent from staying here again. The property manager tried to charge us for a hole in the wall of the shower (we didn’t see it, nor did we do it) and a broken piece of wood on one of the chairs (we also did not do that). She refunded me after I called her and said there was no way we caused any damage, said she had a miscommunication with their cleaning person. So I would caution future guests of this because this house is older and things are on the verge of breaking, and it seems like if something does break they wouldn’t factor in normal wear and tear on furniture.

Great house for a large group. Great location
Ok, first of all, yes there are stairs. Lots of stairs. But, i actually read all the reviews, so we knew this at the time of booking so there were no surprises. To be honest tho, while driving thru the neighborhood, they all are like this. These are huge multi level houses on a mountain side with beautiful views. We spent a lot of the time at the house, so after the initial unloading of all the groceries, beverages, and personal items, it wasnt that big of a deal. However, if your group includes any very elderly or any severely unfit individuals, they might struggle a bit.
This house is awesome! So close to the Squaw village. Would be a great ski trip location. We came in summer to float down the Truckee River. Was close to the launch site. 12 person hot tub was amazing at the end of the day. There are plenty of "bar" games as well. Multi level house with 6 bedrooms means everyone can find their spot. The early to bed's had more quiet rooms while the late nighter's had rooms off the game room and hot tub.
2 refrigerators in the main kitchen was great to hold all our groceries. There are 2 ovens. One seems a little off with the temp, wasn't a big deal, just remember with that and the elevation, be prepared to have any baked dishes take a little longer.
Again, this house is great for a large group. We were a bachlorette weekend of 13 ladies aged late 20's to early 40's Would def book this house again.

Great Property: Amazing views and Amenities
What a great place for a large group. The stairs can be a bit on the legs after a day of skiing, but the game room and kitchen are great spaces and all the bedrooms were wonderful. It would be nice to have a bunk room to place kids in the same room without sharing beds.
The garage was excellent for storing ski equipment, the boot dryer perfect and the hot tub was perfect after a day on the slopes.

Beautiful and comfortable as well as close to slopes
Though the stairs up to the main levels are a lot, its worth it for the views it provides from the rooms and the balconies. It is "lived in" but large, nicely appointed and comfortable (e.g., great duvets, bed linens and furniture). The game room was a real bonus with pool table, shuffle board, darts, poker table plus second fridge and dishwasher.

This house is perfect for us!
The house is great for a large group - roomy, lots of bedrooms and everyone had their own bathroom, large gathering space for adults upstairs, great game room/gathering space for the kids one level below with pool table, shuffle board, darts, poker table and more! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including multiple refrigerators and ovens. Separate room for boots and gloves, with a warmer that worked well overnight, nice big hot tub, sauna - what more could you ask for? Not fancy but certainly nice, warm/good separate heating systems, very clean, well-stocked with extra towels and linens, and lived in enough that you're not nervous about leaving a fingerprint... Lots of stairs as other reviews have noted, which frankly, we just viewed as good exercise as we brought things in and out. Bev and Tuck, the property managers, really couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. They met us at the house, walked us all around with tips and instructions, and since we were there during this past week's epic storm, were incredibly helpful as we had questions about getting around on the public transport system, groceries, the best way to get stranded friends to the house when they needed help, when the right time to leave was (the window between storms yesterday morning), and more. I felt bad that we called so many times, but Bev answered the phone cheerfully on the first ring every time, and went out of her way to help. Thank you for everything!!

Beautiful location but home and property need a little TLC
The home and location were very nice but the the property and home need some attention. When we arrived we realized that there were 72 stairs from the bottom to the main floor, and more stairs to get to other locations in the house. The listing said it was multi-level, but did not realize by the description or pictures that it is actually 6 levels. That should be disclosed. We had my 80 year old mother-in-law with us and that many stairs was a problem. The home needs some attention. The TV's didn't work in most of the rooms (they did send someone out to fix them) and the one DVD player was also broken. There are security locks on most of the doors so make sure you get the codes so you don't get locked out of rooms. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for a large group but the home needs a little TLC.

We LOVED our stay!
Comfy beds, great gathering spaces, wonderful views, great caretakers who can give advice on where to go/what to do..., ample entertainment in the house, lots of great spaces to be together or alone; to play or to read. The home has easy access to trails and lifts. RELAXING and FUN.

Stellar place to stay in Squaw Valley
We stayed here before the ski season started and had an awesome time!
It's very close to Squaw Ski Resort and has incredible views of the mountain and valley.
There are so many bedrooms that it gave our entire crew (a few families and kids) plenty of space to stay. Excellent kitchen with lots of space, nice stovetop, plenty of refrigerators (I lost count around 4 or 5 including the wine fridge). Plenty of tables and comfortable seating. Lots and lots of room to spread out, and many nice spaces for hanging out.
Quick response to any questions we had from the management team. Plenty of games to play. Beware, there are a lot of stairs, so if climbing them is troublesome this spot will be less than ideal. We will definitely stay again.

Great Service!
Though we skip our plan to visit this beautiful vacation rental this time. But I really appreciate for the help from the manager. The rental manager is really nice and helpful.
Definitely hope we can visit the beautiful house in the future.

Family Fun House
We stayed here during the last week of ski season with 2 other families. The proximity to Squaw was ridiculous. You are a 5 minute drive from the entire resort but tucked away on a quiet hillside. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with dishes and every day items (olive oil, spices, etc). There were two washers and dryers on different levels which helped tremendously. The stairs will take your breath away but the house is so nice you really won't mind! Wonderful place to have a family reunion or multiple families for skiing. Will definitely come back!
