The house was wonderful for our family vacation to PEI. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing and such a bonus for us when we were home!! Would definately recommend staying here

The property is in a good location. The cottage has lots of lovely windows…sunny and bright. Inside was orderly and clean. The appliances were in fine working order.
The pool was a big hit with the teenagers and pool cleanliness was good. A pleasant man came to ensure the cleanliness of the pool. Lovely fire pit for evening gatherings. Also enjoyed the hammocks! The two outside dining tables were an asset.
In terms of little touch ups….cigarette butt holders on outside need to be emptied, and windows in the living room and kitchen need to be cleaned on the outside….siding needs attention…Power washing? We did have a few mice appear but it is fall season.

This property was excellent for our purposes, We were 3 generations of our families with young children who thoroughly enjoyed the pool and fire pit. Smores every night! Unfortunately, no swing set. Very few mosquitoes and only after 8:30 pm. No beach access because cliffside damaged by Hurricane Fiona but there was a viewpoint to see sunset. Other attractions close by. Enjoyed The Table, Toy Factory, Island Preserve Co., Sandspit, Waterslides, Haunted Mansion and Gardens, CN locomotive and Confederation Trail at Kensington and much more. Island Traditions Store in Richmond, Potato Museum and West Point lighthouse are an easy drive away. Fresh lobster available at Stanley Bridge. So much to do...not enough time! Even got to Charlottetown to see the Anne and Gilbert show. Packed a lot of experiences into our 6 days. There was something for all ages to do. We enjoyed returning each night to this welcoming place. Thanks for the use of your bungalow. P.S. Smoke detector very sensitive to toaster and 6 ft tall husband sensitive to stainless stove hood! Ouch!

This was our third stay at the Barefoot Bungalow and it never disappoints. It has everything you need in a hole away from home, the beds are very comfortable and the kids love the pool/hot tub combination. The yard is great for playing in, the fire pit is wonderful on warm evenings. And the property management does a great job at being attentive and very accommodating. Absolutely recommend for a family vacation in the heart of PEI.

Perfect location
This was the perfect location to explore All Things Anne, and neighboring fishing villages. We especially enjoyed Victoria By-the-Sea, North Rustico, and Charlottetown. Great shops and antiques, great foods, great coffees. This house had everything we needed to relax at the end of each day. Plenty of room to for all of us inside and out, a huge table for dinner and games, a pool and hot tub, and a short walk to the beach and sunsets. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. It was perfect for the long awaited trip with my four daughters and granddaughter.

Great location. Lovely house!
Plenty of room for our four families to connect over the thanksgiving weekend and to cook a big turkey dinner in a fully equipped kitchen. Spacious bedrooms. Strong water pressure for showers (including a great outdoor heated shower). Really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub too! Hope to be back when the pool is in season!

A great week at Barefoot Bungalow
Our family of six adults and three children had a wonderful time during our week at Barefoot Bungalow. The house is a perfect getaway--it's in a quiet location, very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen with high-end modern appliances, and linens and lots of towels, close to beaches and restaurants, and with a great heated pool, which the kids (and their parents and grandparents) loved. We recommend it highly.

A Kids Dream
Our stay at Barefoot Bungalow was very enjoyable. In the words of my grandkids, "Nanny this is the best place ever."
The location was excellent in terms of privacy and proximity to kids amusement parks. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub so much.
We did however find the living room furniture uncomfortable, and worn. The cleaning of bathrooms And outside furniture, also need more attention.
Overall, everything else was good.
This is our fourth time staying in this cottage.
