About this farm stay rental

Willow Brook Vacation Home is a large brick farmhouse that can be rented as a whole unit for a large group getaway. The front part of the house has a small service kitchen, a downstairs bathroom with shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed and sleeper sofa and desk, a large central hallway leading to four more bedrooms, Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, Bedroom 2 has a Queen and a single bed, Bedroom 3 has a double and a single bed and Bedroom 4 has a double bed. There is also a second bathroom with a tub and shower.

The back part of the house has a full custom kitchen and living area and sofa and two porches one overlooking the yard and meadow and the other one facing the Strasburg Railroad were you can watch the steam trains pass by in season, you go up the back steps to a small landing which leads to a full bathroom with shower, a bedroom with a queen bed and jacuzzi and also to the upper porch with a two person glider which overlooks the creek and pasture. There is also a large yard with a stream with a picnic table and swing, a large driveway to ride riding toys on, or we can set a volleyball net to play volleyball.

It was clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved the property. We spent a lot of time outdoors with the cows, by the fire pit and watching the train pass. The house was spacious and airy making the time inside enjoyable as well. Staying across the street was such a fun bonus for us.Thank you for giving our family a great vacation!

The room for our group of 13 was great. We were all able to sit at the table and eat diner and play games. The kids had a great time outside with the bikes, drums etc. Plenty of room, great location. We would stay here again.

The host is superb, very accomodating and helpful. The house is spacious and clean. The location is great. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that could be improved is the mattresses were a little noisy.

We had a lovely time with family for an extended weekend. The Cherry Crest Farm Adventure is right across the street. Our two year old grandson was super excited when the Strasburg train went by. The children had lots of room to play. They enjoyed watching the cows and riding the trikes down the driveway. The adults loved the porches. The street becomes very quiet after the adventure farm closes. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the occasional clip clop of horses as the buggies passed by. Highly recommend if you enjoy low key family time. If more entertainment is your style, the property is only a few miles from everything Lancaster has to offer.

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. There was lots of room to be together or apart. The little kids loved the swings outside. Having a second refridgerator came in handy. The location was perfect for us. Dale was great to work with.

The farm house was great! It has a historic vibe and is in quiet Amish country on a working farm. This offers great privacy while still being close to town. It was a very enjoyable stay

This place is exactly as advertised & we had a great time! Large enough to fit not 1....not 2......not 3.....but 4 families comfortably. We were in Lancaster for a dance competition and the girls had a wonderful time. No matter what time they went to sleep, they were super excited to wake up to watch the cows come out of the barn every morning. As a non farmer, I couldn't get over how tranquil and relaxing the whole area was. Definitely a different experience. We're all looking forward to the next comp in Lancaster so we can book this place again!!

Wonderful in every way . Communications with Dale were very helpful. House was perfect for a large group . Outside amenities entertained young and older guests . House was Spacious and well equipped with amenities . Train and cows were a wonderful addition. Easy to get to towns around the area. This is a terrific property. Beautiful farmland area, immaculate house--large, modern inside conveniences, beautiful historical restoration. Everything worked. Beds were well located and comfortable. Rooms are spacious. There were toys for the kids, a fire pit and even the cows in the barn were an attraction. Very close to the attractions we wanted to see: Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Stassberg Railroad, Buggy rides, Antique stores... Overall--perfect.

A group of 15 family members stayed at this house while in the area for a wedding. We were able to provide a comfortable sleeping space for each person. The common areas were also ideal for when we wanted to gather as a group, including a dining area big enough for us all. Communication with the owners was outstanding! I do not hesitate to highly recommend this vacation rental!

We had a great weekend together at this quiet farmhouse! Check-in was a breeze. We had 11 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of beds for the adults but the kids took to the floors because they all wanted to be together. Lots of extra bedding to make it all work. All of the rooms were clean and spacious. Kids really enjoyed the outside toys and talking to the cows. The plethora of games inside on a rainy day was awesome! Wish list items: more outdoor seating and fewer checkout chores given the cleaning fee.

Everything about it was great! I felt like I was at home! Plenty of room and the hospitality was amazing! They had everything you would ever want. Toys and games for small kids and big kids and adults had a big fire pit. I would highly recommend this wonderful to my friends and family. One of our favorite places to stay and hope to go back!

The property was attractive and comfortable. Oodles of materials available for food preparation to recreational activities for many age groups. Impressed that there was a high chair, booster seat and pack and play for youngins./ My only concern was with all the activity materials and toys that they can not be thoroughly cleaned between guest and with the recent and present COVID, this may be a real problem.

We came to the area to have a family get away. We were 11 adults and 4 kids under 6. Everyone was very comfortable and have our own space to take a siesta! The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels, and plenty of things for us to do. We lacked for nothing. We’ll consider coming again!

We all enjoyed staying at the farmhouse during our visit to see “David” at the Sight and Sound theater. The farmhouse was very clean and well stocked with everything from linens to toys for the kids. We enjoyed relaxing on the porches while watching the kids explore the beautiful grounds. A special treat for the kids was watching the cows and the Strasburg train!
