Our family had a great time staying at this beautiful lake house. We are already thinking about coming back someday! The home was clean and organized well. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and amenities provided. I was very pleased with the amenities that were provided for children. There was a travel high chair, plates, cups, utensils for children as well as toys! Outside there is a little sandy area with outside toys for the kids to play with as well. Our kids had so much fun!

Property was beautiful. House was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family, both adults and kids, loved our stay at this home. From the minute we got there you just felt relaxed. It has such a nice homey feel with a beautiful view of the lake. It has plenty of room for everyone and that includes in the living room, at the dining room table, on the deck, or by the beach/bonfire. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. Dennis and Lori were great to work with along the way. Always responsive to any questions we had. Provided lots of information upfront such as things to pack, expectations for the house, check in and check out information, and restaurant recommendations. It was centrally located for our day trips to Mackinac Island, Picture Rocks, Soo Locks, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, and Castle Rock. The home worked out perfectly for us. My 11-year-old nephew’s comment when we signed the guest book before leaving was that it was a bit of a drive to get here but was well worth it. This home will be first on our list of places to stay for our next trip to the UP.

What a wonderful property. This place had everything wanted plus. The house is beautiful and was so convenient being right on the lake. The owners do a great job making sure you have everything you need and are very easy to work with. We will be coming back!

It was an amazing cabin, absolutely stunning. Cute decor, comfy beds, clean, well stocked, great outside activities! The view was out of this world with the large windows overlooking the lake. Highly recommend!

The cabin was very comfortable and decorated in perfect cabin decor but the pictures don’t do it justice. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends. The owners are quick to answer questions.

The property was absolutely beautiful! We had an amazing time. I bet it's even more fun in the summer. The only bad thing i could think was there was way too many fragrance plug ins and sticks throughout the home, for someone with asthma and allergies, it definitely caused a flair up. Also the ceiling fan in the one bedroom, vibrated like crazy, so we could not sleep with the fan on. Overall, everything was great and if we are in the area again would definitely stay there!

We an amazing time staying at Brevort Lake. Very convenient location. Close drive to St ignace. Had intention to visit Tahquemenon Falls, which was about a 45 minute drive, but decided to stay at the cabin and enjoy the lake for the day. Beautiful property. Cabin was very clean and fully stocked with everything you would need. Definitely want to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The pictures don't do it justice. The location is excellent, the lake was so peaceful. The cabin was very clean and was one of the best stocked rentals I have used. I had to call/text Dennis a few times throughout the stay and he was absolutely wonderful to deal with. Our group consisted of 4 adults over 50 - LOL. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxed stay with the ability to get to other areas rather quickly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A group of six longtime friends (three couples) gathered for a few days from two states. We fell in love with this property and the location on the lake. The home was clean and the owner provided for just about everything! We especially enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks, as well as the well stocked fire pit area. Would definitely recommend and hope to return! Thank you!

I was really impressed with how organized and well stocked this cabin was. The hosts truly thought of everything you may need including plenty of clean towels, nice pots and and pans in every size. My toddler was delighted to discover big construction truck toys in the sand box/beach area. Truly a lovely, clean and organized place to stay. It does feel like you are enjoying a stay with friends who take pride in their home rather than a place that has been outfitted as a rental with just the minimal second hand basics. Everything in this cottage is high quality and well cared for! It is spacious and the beds are comfortable. The 2 full bathrooms (on on each floor) meant no one ever had to wait for a shower or to use the potty. We couldn't have been more comfortable. The teeny tiny town is full of U.P. charm with a fish market that sells all things charcuterie, a bodega style gas station market that has fresh milk, eggs and cheese, an artists cooperative gourd barn with colorful flower gardens & shop in a teepee offering dream catchers and peace pipes. we We took a day trip to Mackinac Island and it was so awesome to disembark from the ferry and be back at the cabin less than 20 mins later. On our last morning we saw loons on the lake which felt magical :). Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Pictures of this property do not do it justice. Very clean and spacious home that everyone enjoyed. Brevort Lake is absolutely beautiful. It’s perfect for little ones to go swimming or a nice kayak ride at sunset. Home is in a great location to hit all the big tourist spots in the U.P. Dennis and Lori are very responsive if you ever have an issue. Overall I would definitely rent this house again!

Amazing trip! No issues with the rental! Our week was split in half, first part my husband, son & 6 other male friends ages 17-50. 2nd half my daughter & I and 6 other female friends ages of 5-72. Both groups thought the cabin was beautiful and amazing view of the lake. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was so clean & We had plenty of room for our groups and we cooked several meals and the cabin was well stocked with spices, utensils, bowls, pans, etc to make a meal. We all loved gathering in the great room talking, playing games, puzzles, watching movies, enjoying the view, relaxing. Wood was provided for a campfire but both groups didn’t get to enjoy one because the bugs were too bad in the evening. But we loved seeing the solar candles on the picnic table at night. The lake was so nice and shallow & we swam, kayaked, paddle boarded. Played games in the large yard. The neighborhood quiet & peaceful. Some of us during our stay went to Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinaw Island, Mackinaw City for the day. We enjoyed Lehtos Pasties, fudge, Alice’s Kandy & Korn’s Mackinaw Mix popcorn. We shopped, went for Icecream. The drive into St Ignace was about 20-30 mins but it didn’t seem that because of the beautiful drive. It was such a great trip with family & friends and it was nice to take ones that had never experienced the U.P. and all it’s beauty! We all want to definitely come back and possibly make this a yearly trip. Thanks for letting us enjoy this vacation home!!

Everything was as listed if not even better. Beautiful log cabin. Spacious and well stocked. Very comfortable. The outdoor gathering space was amazing. Enjoyed the fire pit and listening to the loons and geese on the lake.

This home is beautiful, cozy, and well appointed. My family of 5 stayed for two nights while in town for my grandmother's funeral services in St. Ignace. The property was easy to find and the location was amazing. It is peaceful, quiet, and tucked back in the woods right along Brevort Lake, but very easy to travel into town when need be. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable with plenty of extra bedding. The bathrooms were immaculate and had many sets of towels for our entire family. We also made several meals here in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The home also includes extras such as a large laundry room with washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, board games for the family, fireplace, nice t.v., etc. Everything you would want from a home away from home is here. If you're considering booking this property, you will not be disappointed.

Charming cabin. Beautiful view of the lake.

We rented the home for a siblings getaway weekend. The house is amazing. All the charm of a log cabin with all the comforts of a modern home. It is spacious, clean, and the views of the lake are amazing. Hidden away but super close to everything. The host was so nice, helpful, and communicative with lots of details. We would all stay here again anytime.
Two notes if you're going to stay here: 1) GPS will tell you you have arrived before you arrive. Just keep driving down the road to the end and you will discover this beautiful home surrounded by trees. 2) Bring a camping lantern with you. We had a bad wind storm when we were there which knocked out the power for the whole area one night. The positive thing is that the host answered my call right away at 9:30pm and tracked the issue with the power company, keeping us informed of what was going on. Of course no one has control over the weather but I was grateful my sister and brother-in-law both had camping lanterns with them because when it gets dark on the lake it gets very dark.

The house was wonderful and felt like home. We enjoyed the size and the warmth.

Rented this property for my brother’s 40th bday getaway trip. There were five people total. My two sisters, me, my brother and his wife. We thought we would have missed the foliage and mild weather since it was late October, but we saw beautiful fall colors and the weather was very mild to warm on most days. We felt very comfortable in the home. It was very clean and plenty of room to spread out for 5 people. I was also very happy with the host. We will definitely look to stay here again.

The property was very nice and welcoming. I would give it ten stars if possible. It was beautiful and peaceful, even though the weather was chilly and rainy we had a wonderful time. We are all hoping to return next year.

This was an amazing house. Clean, roomy, comfortable, well stocked with many many extras. Owner was great to work with.
Definitely a place we would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon!

We came for a quick getaway for my daughter's 20th birthday and the property was amazing. The pictures almost don't do the house justice and the attention to detail when it came to available items to make the stay comfortable were impeccable. Usually when we stay at a rental property, there is some essential item missing like sponges in the kitchen or not enough paper products. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything you could possibly need.
We were visited by a wild turkey only an hour after checking in which was a neat surprise for our Spanish exchange student. The sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous, and we are hoping to come for a summertime visit in the future to take full advantage!

We really loved this property! It was clean, very fully equipped, comfortable, just a short drive to the ferry, restaurants, shopping…we would definitely stay here again!!

We are 3 couples who share long term friendship and regularly get away together for a week. The property was great for this.
The house lovely and well maintained. There was plenty of space for us to relax, play games, enjoy a campfire. We really enjoyed going out on the lack in canoe and kayaks. Location was remote but close enough to get to St ignace or Mackinac City for shopping, meals, and golf.

Far enough away to breath and relax but close to attractions at the same time. Great family log cabin on the lake, fairly secluded on a private drive.

The photos don’t fully capture how amazing this home is. We rented it for a combined family vacation and family reunion of sorts and it was such a pleasure to be on the lake with the quiet beauty and amazing views from the living room and patio. The lot is private and quiet. Even with other guests staying in surrounding homes - it remained so peaceful! The house is an easy commute to Lake Michigan beaches and Mackinac Bridge - but there was plenty to do right on the property, too. The kids enjoyed the boats and shallow lake. The small sandy beach area was well loved by the young ones, while the older kids kayaked. We had everything we needed (and more!) for our stay. Thank you, Dennis. We’ll always treasure the family memories made here!

A gorgeous waterfront home for a weeklong retreat for our family of 4. We loved the 2 kayaks which we used daily. It felt like the Lake was all ours; we only saw 1-2 other boats on the water the entire week. The shallow, sandy bottom made it fun to swim for my daughter. The home was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Great location for exploring Eastern UP - we were able to take day trips to Paradise, Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, Grand Marais, and Mackniac Island. Only small wrinkle was that internet access was limited and slow which may be important to some, but we did not mind much. We'd love to come back next year!

Absolutely terrific place. The amenities provided were more than we could have imagined! The kids' favorite was the paddle boat. The shallow lake is spectacular (except for some swimmer's itch! lol!) No worries about rowing out and having any issues - you can always walk back! Simply terrific accommodations. A closet full of furniture for toddlers and infant should someone need, extra fans if needed (we didn't need them), fun family boxed games, you name it, it was available! No need to pack too much extra because they have you covered! Couldn't have asked for a better place. So glad we found this gem!

Beautiful place on Lake Brevort. Enough room for the entire family and many great amenities.
Very clean. I would highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Dennis for a great family vacation.
