There is plenty of room for your friends and family to enjoy this spectacular Estate, which has more than 60 trees on 1.2 acres, including a trickling stream and Gazebo in the backyard, which is fenced in for children.
Enjoy the spacious open floor plan with Gourmet Kitchen and two dining rooms for cooking or bringing home take-out. Warm up next to the crackling fireplace, watch the Big Screen TV. The Estate comes fully equipped with clean linens, towels, cooking utensils, spices, appliances, 3 TVs, Spa, Pool Table and Internet.
There are three large bedrooms including the Master Suite, which is located downstairs on the ground floor. The Master Suite has a California King Bed, large walk-in closet, and an en-suite Master bath which has a Spa bathtub and walk-in shower. Open the sliding patio doors of your Master Suite and onto your own deck to enjoy a Hot Tub Spa under the Whispering Pines.
Upstairs there are 2 large Bedrooms and a Loft. One bedroom has a Queen bed and the other bedroom has one double bed and bunk bed. These two bedrooms have their own separate sink areas and share a Jack and Jill bathroom.
The upstairs Loft area has a Queen pull out bed, electric fireplace, TV area and a game table to play cards and board games. The living room also has a Queen pull-out bed. We also keep a top-of-the-line blow up bed in the upstairs closet.
Strategically located, you will be just 1 mile to Big Bear Lake and minutes to ski resorts, golf course, and downtown stores. Beautiful, serene setting. It is all waiting for you only a couple of hours away! (From LA or Orange County) Plenty of parking space for cars, boats, and RVs, right outside on the large, dual-entry driveway.

Super Relaxing
The house is very comfortable and the back yard is amazing. This is my favorite place to come and relax. The only problem is that they have very bad customer service. Santiago and Marcos are very rude. We never got the TV’s fixed and Marcos is always spying in the back yard, he comes in n out without alerting anyone. By the way Marcos is the maintenance person, very rude

Stunning home and back yard
This home was stunning and immaculate! Complete with many amenities including quality dishes, cooking pans, and appliances. The back yard was truly breathtaking with a Gazebo, running waterfall and creek, lush vegetation, magnificent pine trees in a green grass field. It felt magical.

Perfect Getaway
We loved our stay and were blown away by the beautiful property. The pictures did not do the house justice! The kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking utensil imagined. The backyard was GIANT and had two sleds we enjoyed using. Any questions we had was answered extremely quick and we would love to stay again!

Beautiful home for a family vacation
The house was just as described. Lots of space and beautiful property. It snowed while we were visiting and this created a picture perfect scenery. It’s a little dated in decorations but it gives the house character. I would recommend upgrading the bedding though.

Beautiful back yard for kids to play.
Overall good. Security night light goes off and on all nighr shining in high bedroom window with no shades disturbing a ruff night's sleep. Pull out couch beds are very uncomfortable bars across back area. No blow up mattress as listed. Upstairs 8 people must share one Jack and Jill bathroom. Good living room and large kitchen with good lighting.

Not having WiFi as promised ruined our trip
My husband is a doctor and he works remotely. Prior to our stay I contacted the property asking about WiFi and other amenities. I was reassured that the property has WiFi. But once we go there the whole thing was down and my husband couldn’t work. My husband ended up leaving on my birthday to go home and finish work. We contacted property manager and they said there’s nothing they could do that day. The next day someone came out and fixed internet but then the last day the internet went down again and had no outside communication. Just a horrible experience. Then the property manager promised a one night refund but when we contacted him about it, he never returned our call. Overall a horrible experience.

Fantastic property
The grounds of this house are amazing...there were so many places for the kids to explore. And the management was super responsive. The gazebo lights weren’t working and the property manager immediately came to come fix it. The amenities were spot on, kitchen was more than well stocked, and bathrooms were clean. It was a perfect little getaway for the long weekend!

Great Property
The grounds are absolutely amazing, even better than advertised. We had a fantastic time escaping the city and having so much land for the kids to play on. We made all of our meals at the house and spent tons of time in the front and backyards.
A few things that people should know before coming in: no air conditioning, the bathroom amenities (hand soap in the shower and not body soap) are sub-par, no kleenex at all in the house, the kitchen pots and pans are old and not very clean. When we arrived, these was stinky cheese left in the fridge, dirty socks in the main family room these lead us to believe that the house was not cleaned very well. Which in the midst of the pandemic was uncomfortable especially when they charge a significant cleaning fee,. Upon arrival we wiped down the entire house and upon departure left it cleaner than when we arrived. Further, the ice machine did not work upon arrival, the team was responsive but the lack of wearing his mask while in the home and touching everything without later wiping it down left us uncomfortable.
All that said, we loved it and would come back but perhaps not during the hottest week of the year as the upstairs at night was very warm and made it almost impossible to sleep. Also we would bring our own cleaning supplies and kleenex.

The property is beautiful but not very clean.
Kitchen pots and pans were very old and dirty. All their baking dishes had food residue on them. Bedding pillows were very used and smelly. Blinds were dusty, we killed millions of flies. Scary movie was filmed here and bunk bed bedroom very creepy. Yards were beautiful and relaxing especially the backyard

Dream mini vacation
We have stayed here once before and had such a lovely time that we returned again. The location is perfect and the gardens are absolutely beautiful! So many lovely trees are all around and the yard is fenced and perfect for children. The home is truly a home and makes everyone feel cozy. Plenty of room to spread out , wonderful beds and linens and a kitchen that should be in a magazine, Owner is easy to work with and very responsive team helps out during your stay. Amazing property!
We went with two other families and were immediately impressed with the curb appeal. There is a nice circular driveway that made it easy to drive in and out. The land is spacious and our kids had an amazing time playing in the snow in the expansive back yard. Great location. Close to big bear resort and snow summit. The rooms and common areas were as listed. There were a few things that weren’t as listed (no inflatable bed and no garage access) but the property manager was super responsive when I asked about these things. Would definitely stay here again!!

Winter Wonderland
The Whispering Pines Estate is something from a dream when covered in fresh snow! The wooded backyard had two ponds, a playground, gazebo and endless space to play! Our kids were in heaven, sledding, building snowmen, throwing snowballs and playing hide and seek in the pines. The home itself is lovely. The kitchen was spacious and featured high end appliances, the bedrooms were roomy with ample closet space, the bunk bed was a hit with the kids as was the jacuzzi tub! The location was prime. Less than 10 minute drive to Snow Summit ski resort, tubing hills, and downtown area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit Whispering Pines Estate in the Spring too!

Stayed 2 nights with 7 other guys for a church retreat and had a great time. Plenty of room for all of us to relax and everything you need to enjoy some time in the mountians. Excellent communication with the owners. Only small issue was small bunk beds (obviously made for families with kids). The property is as advertised.

What a stunning home this is, so picturesque.
Such a fantastic week we had as a family. The home is so well maintained and extremely comfortable for a family of 8. All the creature comforts of home are available. We love cooking and the kitchen was well stocked. The grounds are just so spectacular, plenty of room to move about and explore, play lawn games. Our "littles" childern were in search of bears in the woods, with their little lanterns, priceless. What a splendid place to be able to sit out back on the veranda, sipping our morning coffee and listening to the stream, babbling. So peaceful, it simply takes your breath away, with the crisp clean air and the breeze rustling through the pine trees.
Plus this home is convenient to everything, a short 5 minutes to the village, slopes, hiking and marina. Bring your mountain bikes and clubs, a couple of family members said the 9 hole golf course was fast.
We were so sorry to have to leave. Definitely be coming back.

This house and property is amazing. The grounds are well manicured and park like. The house accommodations are beautifully decorated and the bathrooms are incredible with soaking tub and dual showers. Laurie is an amazing person who accommodated our every request. I had my wedding at her Bed and Breakfast Inn, Apples. Which is also incredible. My entire family and wedding party stayed at her 4 VRBOs and accommodated 32 people in total. I would not have changed a thing as everything was picturesque, beautiful, and very comfortable. I would highly recommend her VRBOs and her bed and breakfast inn which also has the very best food. I’m looking forward to celebrating our anniversary there too.

We really enjoyed the beautiful home and property. Any issues were immediately resolved. They were very flexible with check in and check out times which made it easier when dealing with children. We planned a Big Bear trip in late March with the expectation that there would still be snow, *sigh, there was no snow other than snow summit. Our faulty planning, which gave us a major let down, but this house rental, was just, perfect!! Made our trip worth while. Everything from the check-in instructions to the flexible check-out was a breeze. Instructions were down to a T, have question? Read the email or the cute index album left on the kitchen counter. Amazing house sooo roomy, the backyard alone was suffice enough for our trip to be exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. Kitchen was fully equipped, bathrooms stocked, and clean sheets galore. Everything was clean! Just amazing and dreamy rental!! Definitely will be booking in the future again!
