The home is across the street from the lake, so the view from the balcony is beautiful. As with all homes with a great sunset view, the house gets warm in the afternoon, but it wasn’t overwhelming. The kitchen was very well stocked. The driveway is long, so parking was easy. The bedding was comfortable. Julie was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We loved our stay.

The property was clean and beautiful. Property manager Julie was available at all hours to answer questions. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the house. Close to the lake so we enjoyed our morning walks and had some great family time!

We rented the cabin on a Friday, Saturday, with checkout on Sunday on July 19,20,21. The high temperature was about 85 degrees during our stay. Since the cabin DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING, you have to open the windows in the morning, then close them and draw all of the shades from mid morning to the late afternoon, then open the shades and windows once the sun has almost set. The signature view in all of the photos in this listing go unappreciated for most of the day as you have to keep the shades drawn. Why pay for a million dollar view that you cannot enjoy. The cabin provides many portable fans to combat the heat as well as some ceiling fans, but, we still suffered through the middle of the day in a hot stuffy house. I would consider renting this place in the early Spring or late Fall when the sun would be welcomed to warm up the cabin, but, I would NEVER RENT THIS HOUSE AGAIN DURING THE SUMMER!
The host was fantastic, the kids loved the game room with the pool table and the multiple different electronic game table.
A few glitches - one of the bunk beds did not have sheets but the host told us where she had extras, one of the windows did not have a screen, so, we could not open that window for fresh air. One of the inside shades had a broken chain to raise and lower that blind.
Positives - there was plenty of room to park all 4 cars that we had, the code to get into the cabin made it easy to give everyone access with no multiple keys involved,

Hot! Heat wave and no air conditioning was tough.
But a beautiful setting

House and location were amazing. Family played lots of pool and enjoyed the view. Fishing was a short walk down the street. We went during a heat wave unfortunately for us and the house is not equipped with air conditioning, not many are in the area. This made the second floor pretty uncomfortable. Our whole family slept downstairs, luckily there was plenty of room for 2 adults and two children. The property manager Julie was great and kept in close contact. She made sure to set us up with plenty of fans throughout the house prior to our arrival. Also provided extremely helpful information on things to do and places to eat. Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay at this home and would love to return while keeping an eye on the weather forecast!

Spacious house for family/friends to gather, to enjoy the lake and all that Big Bear has to offer. Well-equipped kitchen and lovely deck.
The only recommendation would be to provide more towels and toilet paper for larger groups (8+).

Overall the family had a great time..a few bumps in the road but Julie was great at helping navigate through them. The only downfall with this property was there was no central air, although the property did provide plenty of fans ( that just added noice)

Julie is a great property manager so everything went very smoothly. The home is well equipped so we didn’t lack for any cooking utensils.
The master and other upstairs bedrooms were comfortable but the two lower rooms would have been better for kids. The queen bed has a very hard mattress, and the bunk bed room isn’t suitable for adults. We ended up drawing cards to pick rooms, and the “loser” got the bunk room. We ended up not having that couple pay their share of the rental.
The pictures make the home look much nicer than it seemed in person. It could use updating for sure. The front door is difficult to open, water pipes very noisy, and furnace also noisy.
We got lucky with snow and thankfully the pool table kept us busy for many hours.

Awesome house and beyond gorgeous views! Spacious and cozy. We had a fabulous time, both humans and four legged kids. We even got a fly over visit from Shadow/Jackie (not sure which one :)), BB Lake's famous nesting Bald Eagles!!
Julie, our property mgr was super helpful, responsive and accommodating. Would love to make a return trip to this property.

Our family really enjoyed ourselves in this spacious and comfortable home away from home. We played pool and sit by the fireplace. The home was 5-6 minutes away from anything that you needed . All around could trip.

We stayed at this property during our annual Big Bear vacation. As our family has grown, we needed a larger place and this one was perfect.
We had plenty of room for 2 grandparents, four adults and three little kids.
The views at this place are amazing.
The place was clean and nicely furnished. Definitely in much better shape that some of our prior Big Bear rentals.
The kitchen was well-equipped and the location is convenient.
No complaints!

Although a little dated, this property was an excellent fit for our family. There was plenty of room for everyone and we especially appreciated the fenced yard for dogs and small children. Kitchen was VERY well appointed with dishes, appliances, etc. Hope to return before long!

We came up for my mom’s 70th. The house was great for 5 adults and 4 kids. Beautiful view and close to the village plus hikes. The kitchen is very well stocked will all the basics for cooking in.
Julie was an amazing host. Very available even when I texted her at 1am! Would definitely recommend and would come back!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful views and fabulous location. In addition to hikes and enjoying taking out a boat, it was a great place to do a few mile walk just around the neighborhood. Very quiet!

The property was as advertised. The location and space were great. Property manager was very attentive and proactively provided us with additional fans to keep us comfortable in the unusual heat. Great stay!

It's a very comfortable, attractive, well-stocked place. Seven adults felt like we had lots of room. Comfy couch and beds. VERY well-stocked kitchen! A few things to note: the view is great, but in the summer, when the trees are leafed out, is more occluded than it appears in the pictures. In the middle of summer, during an usual heat wave, lack of air-conditioning was difficult - we needed to keep all the blinds closed through the afternoons and it was very hot. Of course, we knew this when we booked, and the management was great in setting up additional fans (before we arrived). Can't ask for more in terms of location.

Pros:This property has a beautiful view of the lake. The communication was great. All of my questions were answered immediately. The property has lots of amenities.
Cons: There weren't any other than the place needs a good deep clean. Floors, beds, etc. were all clean, but the screens had holes and were coated in dust in some areas.

My family of four booked Eagle Cove with family friend's (3) and their dog. Julie, the property owner, was very helpful and easy to get in touch with.
The views, alone, are amazing! The house is gorgeous and spacious. We could not have been more thrilled. We did happe to arrive during a heatwave which means we expected to suffer because the house doesn’t have AC. But, Julie loaded up the house with fans and gave tips to cool it down. While it did get a bit hot we still had a lovely time at the house and were very happy. 5 out of 5 we would recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin. Beds were super comfy, place was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you might want/need. Julie was quick to respond to any questions I had, and was super easy to work with. The best part was the view! We enjoyed the many outdoor seating options that allowed us to enjoy the lake and gorgeous sunsets. Overall a perfect getaway. We will be back!

Loved the property but will not stay here again in July, August. No air conditioning made it uncomfortable even with fans in the rooms.

View is great and location is good. Downstairs can be a little dark and the trash situation is not ideal. Overall great place!

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the lake. Clean, stocked with all the supplies, also cleaning utensils for those just in case instances. Seriously did not want for anything, it was all furnished or supplied.
Communication was amazing and I am so thankful for all the tips and event updates.

We had to postpone this trip due to the heavy snow in March blocking the roads to Big Bear. Our property manager, Julie, was awesome in working with us to reschedule in April. Our goal was to get our grandkids (3&5) on skis for the first time. Mission Accomplished. A great place for family!

We stayed here when it was snowing and it was the perfect spot for a cozy low key family vacation. The views are gorgeous and the location is easy to access. The kitchen is well stocked my kids loved the pool table and games the house has. They plowed the main streets consistently while we were there and the homeowner even had the driveway and walkway plowed for us as well. Julie, the property manager was so nice to work with, very responsive and helpful. We will back!!

My family and I take a trip to Big Bear every year for much needed rest and relaxation after a series of tragic events. This home was by far the best that we have ever stayed at. We have agreed that we need to look no further. This is the place that we will stay at next year.
The pros:
Property manager,Julie, was very attentive.
The house is huge and clean
the kitchen is very well stocked with plates, pots, pans, and serving dishes, as well as equipment.
Perfect kitchen for foodies (like us)
The rooms are spacious.
Plenty of extra blankets and pillows.
Gas starter fire place both upstairs and downstairs.
Fully fenced in yard for the fur babies.
Close to Big Bear Village
The view from the living room is priceless.
Amazing water pressure
The water gets very HOT
Jetted tub in master bath
Plenty of storage.
Big fluffy bath towels
The cons:
Keep in mind these are so minor and pretty much personal opinion.
The master bath stays really cold, like a dungeon, going to the rest room in the night was not fun. The floors were freezing. Next time ill bring house slippers.
It was a little tricky trying to keep the upstairs and downstairs warm since they are on a split thermostat. The upstairs tended to either be really hot or really cold.
The water gets really HOT, we scalded ourselves several times by not paying attention, but this was also a pro cuz the shower took no time to heat up.
The Wifi was a little wonky with several people's devices not seeing the wifi at all.
This place was amazing. The beds were really comfortable and warm. We all really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was really quiet, which we liked. The view was amazing and the perfect place to rest and unwind. You will NOT be disappointed with this place.

Hello,
Overall was a great get away with the family. The property manager was outstanding with communication. My only recommendation would be in future to update somewhat with kitchen and bathrooms.
