The exclusive and luxurious Chateau du Lac sits high on a bluff with breathtaking panoramic views of beautiful Lake Arrowhead and the surrounding alpine mountains. Formerly a Bed-and-Breakfast, the Chateau du Lac offers a large property to host large parties and/or events. The property has 6 rooms, 4 of the rooms are suites with an additional living area. A full, gourmet kitchen is available, BBQ and spa. We are steps away from from the beach coves and 2 miles away from the Arrowhead Village.

The property is wonderful, we loved everything about the house, accomodations and yard. Everything was clean and we loved the nuances and "oddities", like the decorated Christmas tree and bedroom we "found" on day two (on the other side of the bathroom). We could not be happier and the communication ahead of our trip was wonderful. Several friends are considering family reunions at this location in the future. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in this house. We celebrated Armenian Christmas and had a wonderful time. House is big but not dated. If you like old antique vibe this house is for you. Kitchen is fully equipped. The house view is the best part of the house. Parking is huge. To go to the lake you have to drive it is not a walking distance. It is about 2-3 minutes drive. Uppin our arrival our host introduced us to every floor and everything we needed to know. Very nice and very professional.

We were very happy that we all had our own bedroom and bath. It is set in a beautiful setting overlooking the Lake. The house itself is in bad need of refurbishing but due to seeing the scaffolding there and some of the house already painted, we can see they are in the process of doing just that. A few other incidentals that we found were not enough to damper our family reunion and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely go there again should such an occasion arise.

The house is beautiful, decorated like a vintage B&B, with tons of room and a spacious deck with an incredible view. Stayed here 2 years in a row for our church's college retreat, everyone loves it!

Cedar Glen is a beautiful property and has an incredible view. The home was decorated well (although dated) and everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed to cook our meals. There were some issues with video equipment not working but our property manager took care of everything quickly by bringing over his personal VCR/DVD machine and hooking it up for us. Be aware that there is no bath soap or shampoo provided, only hand/dish soap. There are only a few clothes hangers in one bedroom. The others did not have any. The home is is need of an major upgrade. I guess if there was one thing I would caution against is the fact that there are many, many stairs to get to the bedrooms. It is definitely not for anyone with disabilities. Otherwise, my family and I had a wonderful five days there for our family reunion. It is hard to find a home with six bedrooms AND six bathrooms! A special thank you to our property manager, Kelly. He was very attentive to our requests and concerns responding immediately with a solution or advice.

Kelly, the house manager was great with communication. Gave us great tips. The house is a little quirky but had plenty of space and restrooms for 5 families with young kids. House is older so the hot water took a long time to get hot, especially in the winter. Amazing view of the lake & plenty of parking.

Absolutely stunned with how beautiful this property was upon arrival, the home lay out is very nice and all of its amenities were very nice. The views from this home, nothing beats it. Waking up to such views and watching the sunset over the lake, very beautiful. The host was very nice, and helpful. They responded immediately to any questions or concerns, before and during our trip. Definitely will try to book this place again, it's worth staying again.

We had a wonderful time and appreciated that our Host Tony worked so hard to get us access to the lake. It was a totally new process, and he made it happen. We were also provided with hiking trails and things to do in town. The house was exactly what we needed for a Women's retreat. We slept 16 people very comfortably, the kitchen is huge and everything was there. Kelly checked us in and followed up with us the 4 days we stayed. Thank you for such a great weekend.

We always rent this wonderful cabin for our annual men’s retreat and women's retreat for our church. Always clean, comes equipped with everything you need and lots of space and comfortable beds. Kelly the caretaker is always super easy to work with and available for whatever we need.

Way too many stairs! Outside deck and gazebo were awesome! Kitchen was nice but the cabinets were beat A pest control should be used before check in of guests. Overall we had a great stay and it was wonderful for a large family.

The house was absolutely amazing, a little old-fashioned in its design, but fitting for a past bed and breakfast. The jacuzzi was not advertised since it was broken in the past but it was fixed by the time my group arrived so it was a nice surprise. The MOST beautiful view and tons of space for my group of 19. Would love to make to make our way back to the Château one day!

Gorgeous house. Had a great time. We had a large party of 11 adults and 4 children. Lots of room for everyone and well stocked. Kelly, the property manager was very nice and helpful!

It is in a good location, but house is quite rundown. Front door cannot be locked outside, Jacuzzi doesn't work. People need to be aware of that $100 electricity usage was charged and $100 of internet usage was charged for two nights stay in this property. It is expensive in over all charges. Beds sheets were dirty in ALL beds we used. For the money I spent, I believe I could find somewhere else to stay next time.

The house was great! Had everything we needed, what a unique place. Perfect place for a team bonding weekend. We had a blast, view is amazing, close to store and lake shops. Great little park near as well. Only sad thing was no lake access because of Covid apparently, but didn’t ruin the weekend.

This is our second time at the Chateau, for our church women’s retreat and it was perfect!! Immaculately clean, fresh linens and towels, lots of space. The pilot light went out on one of the water heaters and when I contacted the property manager he responded so quickly and walked me through how to relight it. They were so wonderful as always. We love coming to this place and will keep coming because it’s our favorite!! Thank you guys for an amazing stay!!

We’ve rented lots of houses and this was one of my favorites. There’s plenty of space and the view is incredible. My favorite part is the house is fully stocked. We tend to cook big meals and they had everything you would need. Also, loved the hiking trails behind the house we saw deer.

Really the best view, we loved our stay. 5 families, perfect room setups for everyone. The house was very cleand and well equipped. The lake is only a few minute walk down the stairs, the only problem is, only owners allowed to enter the lake area so we couldn’t to enjoy the lake

Such a great find! Great location! Tony and Kelly were so informative and answered all questions prior to our visit. Kelly did a great job showing us around! This house is perfect for a big group/ family trip. Pros: location, lots of space and sleeping areas, kitchen filled with lots of appliances and stuff. The deck ( we set up tables out there to eat) lots of chairs/tables. *** the amount of extra stuff in the laundry (towels, pillows, sheets) I have never seen in another rental! Lake access, parking, 2 fridges, jacuzzi, etc Cons: 2 rooms are mainly accessed through another bedroom (walk through room) - not a huge deal for us since it was family, but important to know. No air conditioning, but plenty of fans :) Thank you Tony and Kelly- We will be back for sure!!!!

Perfect layout for multiple family getaway

We spent a weekend at this property with a large group of 5 families (kids ranging from 1-9 years old). Having formerly been a bed and breakfast, this chateau had the perfect layout for our group. Most rental homes have 1 master and other families get the short end of the stick with smaller rooms and less noise insulation. Many of the rooms in this house had separate alcoves (or even separate rooms!) that made sleeping arrangements much easier for family. Adults were able to enjoy late evenings after the kids were asleep without worrying about the noise level much. The kitchen was well stocked and offered beautiful views of the lake. The dining table was very large which made group meals easy, and there were several additional folding chairs (even a high chair) available to add seats. The chateau also had the most impressive and organized array of extra pillows, blankets, sheets, etc. arranged in the laundry room that I've ever seen at a rental property. Another benefit of the chateau was the ample parking. We had 5 minivans / SUV's and parking was a breeze. We really enjoyed the views, particularly morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. We ended our trip with a snowy morning and the kids loved being able to have some snow play in the front yard before we checked out. [Tip: definitely bring tire chains if there's any chance of snow during your time in Lake Arrowhead!] The kids also enjoyed playing on the swings and zipline at McKay Park which is a walkable or a quick drive from the house. Kelly, the property manager, was very responsive and kind. We really appreciated his quick responses and tips on the house. Highly recommend this property, especially for groups looking for ample space for multiple families. Hope to visit again one day soon!

It was a mystery to us how this home was built so strangely! It was great that this home has so many bedrooms, but be aware that it also has 65 stairs scattered all around the interior of the house (not ideal when you have a crawling baby!) Also, two of the bedrooms are only accessible by walking through another bedroom. While relaxing or entertaining on the main level, guests have to walk downstairs to get to a restroom (or walk through another guest's bedroom). Also the kitchen sink has very low water pressure and it takes awhile to get hot water, making washing dishes a real pain. There are two gathering rooms; each with couch/chair seating for only four people.
