Very friendly host, spacious bed, hot shower,
No amenities in the bathroom , the orientation sheet was hidden behind the mirror. The building itself is beautiful with views but outside the building is quite messy.

Breakfast was nice
A little bit of false advertising. It is a villa but not just for you. Amenities basic
3.0
The panoramic harbour views, friendly house dogs and the manager Jack was super responsive, professional & very polite.
We expected a villa as advertised but it’s actually a double storey house that’s divided into self-contained studios upstairs and downstairs- with a common internal staircase to all rooms - it’s really a Bed & Breakfast. Also located a little out of town through a winding back road and we got lost getting there on a rainy dark night.
3.5
Very comfortable, but up one flight, so not so good for me, with a gammy knee. Spacious. Excellent facilities and views.
Once renovations completed, this will be a palatial stay.
Not easy to find, but taxi driver knew the area well. Upstairs made access more problematic for me, but the views from the balcony made up for it. The dressing table/desk is too low to put knees under so hard to work off. Kitchenette and coffee/tea facilities on adjacent outdoor deck, which was unsuitable and unusable during heavy rain. Building and gardens and pool under fairly extensive renovations, meant I had to ask for water to be turned on for shower (should be a one-off), and no water in pool. But once renovations completed, this will be a palatial stay.

facilities was good, however no pool which was not mentioned.

Everything the Hidden paradise offers is beyond expectation.
The majestic panoramic view of the Bay of Islands at the fore and the glistering sight at night and the quite tranquility of the Suva City coast line up yonder from the comfort of the bedroom is breathtaking.
Oh..just the shower over the toilet takes my experience back about 30 years ago when sailing from Nauru to Fiji in a mini-Cargo vessel. I do not mind, but the Mrs may have a bit of reservation. Though she was pleasantly suprised by the picture I took of the views.

Host was very nice. Views are amazing.
I was expected to pay with Cash for my whole stay on arrival. This was not clear and I didnt have the cash with me. I needed to make a special trip down to an ATM to withdraw cash. The pool was green and home to many frogs. The mattress was covered with plastic and the bedhead. Felt like I was trying to sleep in a store. There is no bug netting on the windows so you cant have them open, especially at night.
I think overall the problem with this accommodation is its mis-advertised. It would be better advertised as an upmarket backpackers. They would probably get better reviews and custom.

location, good sea and city view.

Best location
Aircon was really needed
3.5
the room was large , facing the ocean, super clean and comfortable with a well furnished kitchen, great , large comfortable balcony.
paid 255F$ for 2 nights
the place is very quiet and peaceful
l was really impressed by the quality of the room which was more like a studio / 1 room apartment
the breakfast was extremely poor and tasteless. some tepid porridge and one sausage, the butter was off and some bread, everything put outside the room on the ironing board without being informed.
The villa , the second evening, had no staff at all to help out. l was totally on my own.
Far from Suva town centre but 10 minutes walk to reach main road and get a bus
taxi would cost you around 12 /13 F$ to get to suva.

Host is absolutely delightful and helpful and my room was really clean.
Beautiful view.
Difficult to find without any signposts
Card payment not possible
A bit far from everything
Booking confirmation stated I booked a villa, it was room in a villa.
Pool not as advertised, full of tadpoles and green water.
This would have been ok if it was advertised as a natural pool/ pond

We cooked our own breakfast, very good supply
All good

I prefer if it was fruits and cereal but to be fair we requested to make our own breakfast

The view! Couldn't beat it!
Shower facilities could be better

- Nice view
- friendly host Jack
- parking on site
- not far from local shops in Lami
- mattress was uncomfortable
- blanket was small for an adult
- no partition with upstairs room

Great ocean view from the property and friendly host
Bit far from city so you rely on taxi to go for meals. The shower had no pressure and no hot water. The shower is over the toilet so felt very unhygienic.

Staff were friendly and great location in Suva.

???
I was allowed to use their Wifi to search for another accommodation in Suva, and their restroom for a quick pitstop. We did not stay here. Read below!
Upon arrival I was informed that the room I booked was taken by someone else??? It appeared that some type of construction/repairs was taking place, at least on the outside and by the pool. Google Maps was not very helpful in reaching the very location; finding the place was a challenge. I don't think highly of the Suva Hideaway Villa and the associated experience. Thank you.

Nice view of suva from across the harbour. Jack is a friendly host.
No toilet paper, no soap, no towel. Swimming pool not finished. Breakfast was rolled oats, 2 potato gems, 2 slices of orange and a uncut mango, all on the same plate

The location was quite good for couple and office travellers. It has nice and beautiful lagoon view.
It is quite bad to have the left over from the refrigerator for the new visitors to continue using it like milk , butter and others that you would like to have in the kitchen.

.I recommend you begin by reading the 1 star rating from "Allan" New Zealand. It is 100% accurate.
I will add the following to "Allan's comments
Jack is eager to please and ever-apologetic.
I booked 5 months ago from Canada. When I arrived Jack informed me the room was not available, I believe he and his father live in the area presented in the pictures on Booking.com. He told me I didn't have to pay, however there was nowhere else to go as it was Fiji Day and everything was booked. He offered me a bedroom on the main floor. The bed smelled like this is where his dogs sleep. After one night I left and will never stay again. I have have literally traveled around the world and this is the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to stay.

jack the host is great. the view was nice as well.
A myriad of dogs that barked all night every night - didn’t make for a relaxing stay.
weird setup in our room with a chaise attached to a double bed
ensuite set up weird as well and not explained by host

The location was absolutely beautiful
Definitely didn't like the bathroom as it was shared and the washing machine was kept in the bathroom along with mop and cleaning materials and used tea towls hanging in the bathroom as well, found the bathroom unhygienic. I am sure this can be sorted.

The host Jack was very helpful and friendly. He provided a lovely breakfast. The view across to Suva is very nice. You can cook your meals here too.

Breakfast was excellent. Building outside still under renovation. Room was very dirty - not cleaned. Host was very nice. When the property is completed and they clean proper this will be a nice place to stay.
Room was dirty - spiderwebs, corners not cleaned for month. Pillows has a smell.
Bedlinen were most likely on for a few weeks already. Lots of stuff from the owners storaged around everywhere.
