About this house rental
Located just 10 minutes from Vail Village by the FREE bus (bus stop is at the end of the drive way!), or a 15 minute WALK to the Lionshead Gondola, restaurants and shops. This house is in the ideal location for those who don't want to deal with a long bus ride or the craziness/expensiveness of the Vail parking garages. Stay in our home and see the mountain from your deck! Our home is ready for you and your friends or family.
The house is perfect for entertaining! With its large, spacious kitchen that opens up to a warm, inviting dining room and family room on the main floor (with a gas fireplace, grand piano & smart TV) and a second family room on the second floor with a TV, there's a spot for everyone (perfect for big groups – giving a little privacy to all). There is also a den/sun room on the main floor (off the kitchen) with tons of games and toys for the kids.
The large kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and every cooking utensil and appliance you could need. We also keep coffee, spices and condiments stocked. A huge deck wraps around the house and offers views of the mountain from one side and a seven-person hot tub on the other. Our home has a large yard but also backs up to a great park. With a huge play area for kids and a sand volleyball court, it's fun for all ages. In the winter there is also a small sledding hill for the little ones.
The main master bedroom has a new king-size bed, fireplace, smart TV, private deck, jacuzzi tub, and steam sauna. The second master bedroom has a king-size bed and private full bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms come with twin-size bunk beds and share a three quarter bath. There is also a secret loft space that houses two single beds. The kids love it! For additional guests, there is a queen-size sofa-bed in the den/sun-room.
THE HOME IS EQUIPPED WITH DSL INTERNET ACCESS.
Please note:
- This home does NOT have air conditioning, but we've never needed it. There are ample windows throughout the home to open during the summer. We also provide fans in each room should you want a little more airflow.
- There is a separate lock-off apartment below the home that is occupied full time, however the driveway is the only shared space. Our wonderful tenants are responsible for keeping the stairs shoveled for you and taking the garbage out, but otherwise will not disturb you during your stay.

We had a great time. We stayed for 4 nights in mid July as a getaway from the south Texas heat. Location is good as there's a nice Safeway and other needed items down the street within a mile. Our kids enjoyed the park, the hot tub, and the very top floor "fort". It was more space than we needed as it will actually sleep quite a few people. As a runner I loved the path along the I-70 feeder. Everything was smooth, the tenant was very nice and very responsive, and I highly recommend it!
PS--I will miss the ice cold tap water! Ehh back to Texas..

Two families of 4, kids 11-13yrs old, had a fantastic stay at this VRBO.
It is nice, clean, and has plenty of space for kids/teens to have their space upstairs, while adults can hang out downstairs (there is actually a third common use are downstairs with games/chess as well).
The house is super close to a playground for mild sledding if enough snow, or there is another park a short 5 minute drive for bigger kids/adults (Ellefson park). Our kids built a 3 room igloo/snow fort right off the back porch!
That hot tub was great to relax in, and they have a spa guy come every Monday to treat.
We ran out of propane, but Olivia was quick to text back that there were spare tanks in the garage;)
Being from Florida, we inquired in advance about humidifiers, and owner was again very responsive that there were humidifiers, but she also ordered two more from Amazon for us.
We had no issues/interaction with apartment people/property caretakers, but did see their cars come and go.
It is a bit of a hike with ski gear to walk to Gondola, so we ended up driving and parking in the garage for $30 a day.
The walk wasn't bad at all for dining (Montauk Seafood was excellent), Hagen Daz ice cream, and ice skating were all fun in Vail Village (feels like you are in the Swiss Alps).
Overall, a great owner, awesome communication, and a trip our families will never forget!

My friends and I had a great time at Olivia's property. It was a convenient 10-12 minute walk to skiing, especially if you check your skis and boots near the base (we used Vail Ski Tech). Bit of an incline over the footbridge.
Home was laid out well, lots of space for the five of us. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Hot tub was excellent. Olivia was very communicative and easy to work with, a great host.
Would happily return for another ski trip.

Perfect stay for our group of seven. The house was well equipped for all our needs in the kitchen, and with comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout.

We loved our stay, it was such a great space, easy to get to Lionshead and Vail Village, and hot tub was wonderful!

House was wonderful and Olivia was great to work with. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting vail. Bus stop is at the bottom of the driveway.

We had privacy while inside the home as neighbors were quiet and very polite. Close to I-70 which is noisy night and day.
Children’s park was right outside the back door and walking into Lionshead village was not difficult if you are in good shape!

Great house and great owner. She was one of the best to work with while planing a trip for a group of 10. Thank you!

Eight guys came out for a ski trip and had a blast. Place was plenty big enough for all of us. Pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen stocked with basic condiments, plenty of TP and toiletries. Steam shower in master is awesome! Was a bit further to Lion's Head than we thought, can walk it in regular boots but is tough is ski boots.

This place was amazing and Olivia was quick to respond to any questions. It was roomy, the beds were comfortable, it had everything we needed in the kitchen and it was 10 minutes to the village. The bus was at the end of the driveway to take us skiiing and out to restaurants. Fantastic family trip. You must stay here if you come to Vail.

This place was just what we were looking for. Not right in town but right on a bus line that took you into Vail Village quickly or an easy walk to Lionshead. The place was plenty large for our group of 7 adults, and all of us were able to comfortably watch the NFL playoffs in the living room. The kitchen (and rest of the house) was incredibly well stocked and the hot tub was one of the best I've ever been in, and a great thing for post-skiing recovery. Communication with the owner was easy and really quick, and she even let us check out late as there was nobody checking in the day we were leaving. Even the downstairs tenants were great, helping us jump one of our cars that wouldn't start on departure day. All in all a great house with everything you need an then some. Highly recommend.

House was even better than described / pictured. Very comfortable and spacious for our group of 9. Perfect location and proximity to vail was awesome. We were here for Labor Day so it was a bit toasty in the house during the day since it was over 85F at parts of the day, but it was so cool at night so it wasn’t an issue to sleep and the host provided some fans, and we were out and about most of the day anyway! Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Exactly as Advertised
Olivia rented the property to our group over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The property was nothing short of spectacular. The grill, the hot tub, the back patio, and the Volleyball court were fantastic and the neighbors were a pleasure as well. I would recommend this to all groups that are venturing to vail. It is a short walk to the village. 10/10

We were able to spread out in this multi-level home, yet gather all 10 adults together around the kitchen table for dinner. The Sandstone bus picked us up and took us to the Vail Transportation Center where we picked up our skis and jumped on the gondola. The kitchen is overstocked with cookware, oils, condiments and spices, so look over contents of the cabinets before making your grocery list! We will definitely stay here again!

We were a group of 8 for a ski trip. Great place - more than enough space. Very well appointed with paper products, kitchen staples etc. The hot tub was amazing. Super convenient to the sandstone bus route. Some of the rooms did get hotter than others at night with the heat on. We would definitely rent here again.

This property owner has thought of everything to make a stay at her lovely, perfectly located home, perfect! From children’s activites, including sleds, to lotion bottles in every bedroom (a must in the dry winter weather), to coffee and filters already supplied! A 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the slopes - absolutely fantastic. Super spacious for a large group with plenty of bathrooms for everyone’s privacy and comfort. Plenty of room to spread out! We would most definitely return and will recommend to friends!

This beautiful home was perfect. We had 8 in our party and we had plenty of room for more. It is spacious and well equipped with anything you need. Great instructions for getting there and in and everything you need to know while there. The hot tub was amazing.
The house is just a few steps to the bus that takes you to the mountain.

We loved this house - it actually is even better than it appears from the photos. I polled the entire group and nobody could think of anything negative to say.
1. Plenty of room in the common areas and ample bedroom space; super cozy and well-laid out. And the gas fireplaces are fantastic and easy to use.
2. Well-stocked with kitchen appliances and common food items, and well-appointed because the house appears to be frequently used by its owners - it really feels like a much-loved home more than a thinly stocked investment property. We probably ended up leaving more common food items than we started with ... check the supplies on hand before you run out to buy groceries! The house lends itself to convivial home-cooked group dinners.
3. Great location! The free ski bus literally could not be more convenient, and it's an easy walk to Lionshead via the pedestrian bridge over I-70. Also close to supermarkets and inexpensive restaurants.
4. The hot tub is super for apres-ski relaxing and snow rolls ... so much fun.
