About this house rental
*Please note, this home does have a 1-Bedroom apartment which is occupied by a long term tenant. The apartment has its own entrance, and there is no access between it and the rental property. The tenant is not a caretaker of the rental property but does perform certain tasks which might make your stay more comfortable, such as monitoring and treating the hot tub, and shoveling snow off the deck stairs. All guests of this home must demonstrate respect for the on site tenants of the apartment, and in particular, with respect to parking and noise.

The Property:
You will enjoy pulling into the heated driveway and then making yourself at home. You'll park in the 2 garage or immediately outside of it, then enter on the lower level. If you enter the home through the front door, you are on the main floor, or middle level. The main floor by the front door is where you will find the great room, with a breathtaking 20'+ stone fireplace, a sun-room with shuffleboard and a video game console with 412 games, and the formal dining area, all in one large space that is great for large groups. On the back yard side of the main level you will find the family room. This room features another fireplace and a large HDTV, as well as a secondary dining table and access to the back deck. In between the front and back of the home is the kitchen, which has been fully and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. It is long and wide enough for an island that includes a beautiful gas range. The kitchen features cherry cabinetry, granite counters, tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar. No detail has been overlooked, so you'll also find things like the crown molding on the cherry cabinets and ogee edges on the granite counters. The kitchen opens to the family room on the bar side, and the formal dining and great room on the other. This level also includes a hallway connecting the two living rooms, allowing flow back and forth without going through the kitchen. Off the hallway is a powder room and a special book nook / study space that kids will love.
The upper level includes what we have labeled bedrooms one, two, and three. Each of these bedrooms is a suite with its own dedicated bathroom! Bedroom 1 is very large and has vaulted ceilings, armchairs, and an HDTV on the dresser. It also has a desk, just in case you need to tend to emails while you're here in Vail. The bathroom suite includes dual sinks, a separate room for the toilet, a large bathtub, and a multi-headed steam shower. Bedroom 2 has vaulted ceilings as well, plus a King size bed, large HDTV, a bathroom, and French doors to a balcony overlooking the great room. The bathroom for this bedroom suite has a dual headed waterfall shower and large vanity. Bedroom 3 is another large space with vaulted ceilings and a private bathroom. It has a Queen bed plus a Twin bed, making it ideal for a couple, a couple plus a single, a couple with a child, or perhaps 2 to 3 children.
The lower level of the home includes the third living room plus bedrooms 4 and 5. The lower living room has a counter for doing puzzles, ample seating, and an HDTV. The sofa pulls out into a sleeper sofa for larger groups who need extra sleeping space. Bedroom 4 has a Queen bed and direct access to the 4th full bathroom. This bathroom also has access from the hallway, which allows the guests staying in bedroom 5, which has 2 Twin beds, to access the bathroom without going through bedroom 4. Also, that powder room is right up the stairs, which makes sharing easier for any guests on the lower level. From the lower living room, you'll have direct access to the garage and back yard. The hot tub is on this level and a small carport area makes a great place to keep your towels dry while you soak on snowy days or nights.
Location, Arrival, Access, and Parking:
This property is located in the exclusive and upscale Highland Meadows neighborhood of West Vail. From the home, you'll have a short drive of 3 to 5 minutes to the grocery store, shopping, and restaurants. Free parking and shuttle service to the slopes is available down the hill at Donovan Park. With mature aspen trees and evergreens around the home, this location feels private and beautiful while offering quick access to all that Vail has to offer. The arrival process is easy. Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with your contactless check in instructions, and answers to any specific questions you might have. Accessing the property does not require any stairs from the garage or parking area and only 1 or 2 stairs are required to access the main level of the home. Many rental properties in Vail have no parking at all. At this property, you'll have parking that is private and free, but limited and with specific parking spaces. We ask all guests to limits themselves to 4 vehicles, and to park the first two in the garage, with any 3rd or 4th vehicles immediately outside of the garage. There is one additional parking space that is right at the beginning of the driveway, but please note that parking space is reserved exclusively for the tenants of the apartment. Having more than 4 vehicles would require parking cars in the driveway between the tenant parking and their front door. Parking on the road out front is allowed during some times of the year, but not in ski season, when snowplowing operations must take priority. There are multiple options for off site parking in the Vail area, so if you will have a 5th vehicle, please plan accordingly. Also, please note that trailers are not allowed at this property.

House is as advertised and well maintained. Lots of kitchen supplies including basic spices. It was nice to relax and play shuffle board and enjoy the hot tub.
You can hear the highway which is just part of being in vail as the house is not that close to it (but is conveniently located in west vail).
Management company was very responsive. Would book this house or another via this company again.

This home for our family of 10 members perfectly. Home was well equipped with most anything that one would need. Grocery store was close by as well as Lionshead and Vail Village. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone who has a large group and wants east access to everything.

We have stayed at other, more expensive houses in Aspen and Breckenridge, but this property had higher end finishes and was much better equipped. Highly recommend this property in Vail!

Nice house and furnishings. House is a little dark. With windows open in the summer you can hear the highway traffic…..probably fine in the winter.
Short drive to Vail Village.

Great wedding weekend!
Stayed here with family for a family wedding at Donovan Pavilion. Great location (although not really walkable from the bus stop unless you are accustomed to the altitude). The house was extremely comfortable, with many different spots to hang out. Several of our group had to work (zoom) and had no problem finding their own spot and connecting to the internet.
The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, cooking equipment, etc. - pretty much everything we needed.

Great Family Ski Week
Property is big and roomy to accommodate two large families well. Large tables for board games and multiple large seating areas with fire places. The hot tub is great after a day at the slopes. Our only drawback is that it’s a long walk to the shuttle.

Great set up for a family vacation
We were traveling for my in-laws anniversary and had 3 subsets of our family with us. The home is set up wonderfully to allow us all to have quality time together but also to spread out and have our own space when needed. It's very convenient to downtown Vail, especially in the summer / fall. (We visited in late September.) Ski season MIGHT be more cumbersome.

Amazing week!!!!
This property is everything and more you see online. Every amenity you could possibly need is in the vrbo. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware. The beds were very comfortable. This vrbo is very cozy. I do need to give a shout out to the cleaning crew. We arrived an hour early. My daughter was car sick. They were very accommodating and allowed her to go to a bedroom to relax. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Vail!!!!!

Highly recommend
The location of this house was excellent for us . It was easy to get to Safeway, Vail village, Lionshead, Vail Hospital (my daughter delivered her baby 5 weeks early and Vail Hospital was amazing - and the house is only 7 min. from the hospital). The bus stop is just down the hill from the house. The bus goes everywhere in Vail and is free. The house was stocked incredibly well. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed.

Very nice accommodations. Large space so plenty of room for all.
Our group has been skiing for almost 20 years. We travel around a lot but our go to place is Vail. The high meadow house was in a great location and was close to both Vail and Beaver. We actually drive to Breck for 3 days chasing the snow and it was an easy drive. After a long day of skiing it was nice to come home to a large space that was well equipped to make some great meals. Plenty of room for cars and equipment as well.

Great house for summer family vacation
This house was perfect for our family vacation with 7 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of space to spread out, and the house is well kept up and well supplied (importantly, the kitchen has everything we needed). Steve, the owner, was very available for questions both before and during our stay. Vail is a great place for a family vacation -- there is so much for everyone to do. I highly recommend renting this house.

Great large family rental
Our extended family of 13 fit comfortably in the home with plenty of room to hang out. The location is perfect - close enough to Vail Village/Lionshead, trails, running paths, park etc... Steve was easy to work with and very accommodating. The kitchen is stocked and plenty of room in the walk in pantry! The kids loved hanging out downstairs and playing ping pong. Overall, we loved our time in Colorado and this rental made our vacation perfect!

Great House, great time!
We enjoyed our stay very much. House is huge. We were there for a ski trip for 5 days and the house slept 16 without anyone needing to crash on the couch. So many different parts of the house allowed everyone to be together or have privacy if they wanted. Lots of bonuses including a ping pong table and a piano in addition to the hot tub and grill made hosting really enjoyable. The place is 0.6 miles from the shuttle stop, so it's a very manageable walk in a pretty neighborhood. You can use uber as well if you want. Heated floors were a big plus. The master bedroom and bathroom were spectacular.
Stephen was great to deal with and we didn't have any issues.

The vacation home was luxurious.
The vacation home was lovely and fit my family's needs perfectly. There are multiple conversation areas where we could sit and visit both inside and outside. We love to cook and it has a large fully stocked kitchen so we enjoyed most of our meals in. We ate our evening meals in the spacious dining area which can seat 10 comfortably. We ate, drank, toasted and told stories there. After dinner we sat in the grand living room and enjoyed pianno and guitar music by the beautiful 30' stone fireplace. The hot tub was easy to work and was used by the adults and children. Each of the five bedrooms has its own bathroom which was wonderful. The basement suite worked well for my niece, her husband, and two boys. My brother and his wife enjoyed the privacy of the lockout bedroom with its own kitchen, sitting, and dining area. There were 12 of us and we could of easily had two more and still had plenty of room and beds for everyone. Great location, close enough for a long walk or take the trolley in to Vail. Tons to do in Vail. We enjoyed the movie theater with full bar and restaurant service while you watch a movie. We did eat at the Little Diner and the breakfasts were amazing. We would definately recommend this property to others and would love to go back again.

Great Vail house for a family
I highly recommend this property for a family stay in Vail - we had 13 in our group for a family reunion and it was still easy to eat meals in the house. The kitchen is well stocked and there was enough room at the dining & breakfast tables for all of us to eat together. All of the bedrooms are very comfortable, and nicely decorated. The kids liked staying in the lower level and had their own TV for entertainment. Our priority was having "family time" to catch up and the house offers several different rooms where groups could sit and talk. The hot tub was also a big hit and got lots of use. We definitely plan to stay there again next time we are in Vail!

Perfect Vacation Home
Some family friends and I stayed in this beautiful home for the past week. We loved every minute of it! From the moment we walked in we were impressed. This home has all of the features you would expect and many more that you could only hope for. Each bedroom was charming, comfortable, and luxurious. The kitchen had everything you would need from measuring cups to a coffee grinder. We enjoyed all of the welcoming sitting areas and the hot tub with mountain views. This was a stellar vacation home!

Wonderful home!
We loved staying in this home. It had a terrific layout with plenty of room for our extended family – grandparents and teenagers were equally at home with plenty of space to relax and enjoy themselves. It was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. The location was very convenient.
The home is exactly as described and was very clean and well-maintained. Plus Stephen was very helpful in answering questions and concerns, and was very accommodating. We would be happy to stay there again on our next trip to Vail and would definitely recommend this property.
