The location is great, and we loved the fire pit and picnic tables. We cooked most of our meals in the cabin, but a short drive to town for dinner was really easy. The cabin is a real cabin, so don't expect the Ritz. But it is very clean and very comfortable! Washer & Dryer saved our family from over packing. We had a blast!

This cabin was in the perfect location. So quiet and calm. It’s such a kid friendly house. My family absolutely loved it! 100% will be booking again!

The Cabin was exactly what we were looking for which was an old school feeling, with some modern amenities.
It was tastefully decorated and the surprises for the kids (games and toys), were exciting for them during our downtime at home between outings.
We made good use of the Fire Pit and the boys had fun chopping some extra wood.
We had a wonderful visit and were very happy overall with the proximity of the cabin to most everywhere we went. (North Beach, Rowland’s Ponds).

This cabin was perfect for our family. We loved the location, as we could see the lake from the front windows!
We loved that there was no TV, but it could have used a few more board games.
The beach access was just a quick walk down the road.
The fire pit in the backyard was the highlight of the trip! We made so many fun memories.
The kitchen was well stocked, but there was an issue with the garbage disposal.
The beds were very comfortable and cozy.
We would highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

This cabin needs lots of maintenance and then it would be a great place to stay hopefully this gets done or else Vacasa should not keep it in their system

We had a very enjoyable stay with family and friends. Access to 3 public beaches was a nice bonus. Great firepit area and plenty of room inside.

The perfect getaway spot!
This clean and comfortable cabin is tucked away nicely in the woods, but within a few minutes of restaurants and scenic views of Payette lake. There were imperfections that made our experience perfect. We were originally going to campout in our camper, but plans changed to needing a cabin. This Awesome cabin made for a nice quiet retreat. My brother had a huge cabin rented on the East side of the river and I would choose our smaller cabin on the west side anyday! We will rent this again even though we couldn't work the dishwasher, there wasn't any split wood and the beach was very limited to where we could be.

Dangerous Step
step from livingroom to bathroom was hard to see and there was nothing to hang onto

Cozy and complete
This family oriented cabin has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. It is nestled in the trees with a filtered view of the lake. Comfortable beds and hang out spaces. We've stayed here several times and it is always great.

Cute house and great location
Overall stay was great. The house was perfect for our party of 6. Although I wouldn’t consider more staying there unless you want them to sleep on an older futon. The location was beautiful and only a short walk to the beach. Our biggest issue was entering the home. We had difficulty with the keypad to obtain the key. The code that was given only went to one lockbox and that one didn’t have a key. We called Vrbo and they gave us another code for another lockbox that thankfully had a key inside. Second is that the house was incredibly hot the first day and I don’t believe the ac worked. There were 2 fans in the home which helped but we ended up buying a 3rd one to use for the 3rd bedroom during our stay. It was a good thing that it wasn’t a super high temperature weekend. Overall even with our struggles, I’d stay there again.

Clean Cute Cabin in McCall but can use a few tweaks
The cabin was cute and clean with good location. However it was hard to sleep at night because it was so hot out and no air conditioning in cabin. Also they must of had a water leak in cabin at one time because there is a terrible moldy musty smell throughout most of cabin. One other problem was the Wifi didn't work much of the time. It would work for a little while and then stop all day and night. They need to change wifi company or put some sort of devices in house to aid the wifi. Other than that it was a nice comfortable cabin and stocked well with kitchen equipment.

Gateway stay
Nice location of the property especially covered with so much snow. Really liked it.

Family friendly cabin
The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed the large living room with a fireplace and lots of seating as well as the mudroom with a washer & dryer and the two updated large bathrooms. The reason I didn't leave a 5 star review was that the kitchen lacked the space to easily prepare meals and the oven cook top didn't work well. It was just really an uncomfortable and hard to use space.

Thank you to the Sloan family for hosting us at their awesome cabin by Payette Lake. The firepit and roasting marshmallows was the highlight! We look forward to visiting again.

Great location
The location was great. A short walk to several private beach areas and quick drive to town, we had the whole beach area to ourselves all day on a Saturday. Home had everything we needed. It was clean, easy to access and the kids had a blast. We would definitely book here again.

Great cabin for our big family
This is a great cabin for a fun getaway. Great launching place for lots of fun in and around McCall and Payette Lake. The cabin is older but has been revamped nicely. We do wish we could have had some questions answered by the management company before getting to the cabin. But they never answered texts or email questions about the cabin and trying to call them was a nightmare. I was on hold for 30+ minutes with a recording telling me that I would be on hold for 2 hours. I never did get a hold of anyone. The cabin itself is great.

Nice Cabin
Clean, warm, nice cabin for a snowmobile weekend with a good room to hang and dry gear. Kitchen is small and efficient, but not real good for cooking large or frequent meals. We are wood stove guys and like a fire, however, the small wood stove was not user friendly as there was no way to make kindling to build a fire right...might have just been the wood tho! There is no TV or stereo, but not a big deal for us. Would stay again!

Loved the cozy bedrooms, fire pit, and well stocked kitchen. The cabin is very well-maintained and in a super nice location. We will definitely stay again.

cozy and quiet
We aren't the typical large family renting for a reunion, just 2 old people looking for a rest. It was terrific. Comfortable bed, easy walk to the lake, picnics under the pines. Couldn't be better.

Kitchen
Amazing Payette Cabin, Was amazing. There is one glaring deficit, the kitchen is small and not well equipped. You can not have two bigger sized pots on the undersized stove. The rest of the cabin was amazing, this is our second time and would definitely go back for a third.

PERFECT little cabin! Hosts thought of everything!
We rented this cabin for a little weekend getaway and we totally fell in love! This cabin may look quaint from the road, but it is surprisingly spacious when you get inside, thanks to the thoughtful additions the owners have done to the property. They have indoor and outdoor firewood boxes that still had wood in them. There is a small kitchen that is fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils and pans. 3 regular bedrooms with full sized beds, plus a futon in the large living room - you could easily have 3 couples share this cabin! Their mudroom was fantastic, complete with a newer (and clean) washer and dryer. We adored their outdoor firepit and seating area. It was (surprisingly) cold and gloomy during our visit in June, but my husband and I stayed warm and cozy in this adorable place. There is no TV, but that was 100% no issue for us. We brought our own board games and even spent one night bundled up around the outdoor firepit. The hosts have even left you plenty of marshmallow roasters, in case you forgot yours! Beach access may not be "instantly straight forward," but just look at the host book with the maps before you head out - you'll find the 3 access points easily and very walk-able. We booked our next stay before we left! :)

Good time, but snowed in
Had a great weekend at this home, though the amount of snow made the fire pit and most of the property inaccessible. Access to the lake front was also non-obvious. Aside from that, a great place to stay.
