Cute cabin but would not bring my dogs there. To many bears every day right by the back deck and couldn't keep dogs on deck with us cause no railing all the way around pretty setting though just to many bears around

Directions to property were easy to follow. Beautiful location in the woods. The place had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after hiking. Grocery store was a 10 min drive from the cabin. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay around Asheville!

Nice part of town. Ok space for 2 people. Going up and down the gravel road was trying. Needs work. More/better communication needed about check in and what is provided. My first Vrbo experience. Will research more in the future and ask more questions.

The cabin was awesome. Please update your coffee maker to a kurig. Also hand towels amd kithchen towels would have been nice instead of paper towels.

It was a great, small, and cozy little cabin. 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. We would recommend again. Great value.

The experience was amazing got to see a mama and her two cubs, really enjoyed the Biltmore

Cabin was dated with older amenities. No air or heat was left on so there was a musty smell. Not enough wash cloths were left and upon contacting owners we were asked to re-use same wash cloths. Had to specifically request 2 additional wash cloths for our 2nd night stay. Be prepared for the long drive up the mountain on a not very smooth dirt road. We thought we were taking a trip to our hunting camper.

If you want a secluded space in the mountains, this little cabin is perfect. It's not far from downtown and all it has to offer, but also allows you to soak in the peace and quiet. We used the spur trail to hook up to the MTS and go on a few hikes. The view from Haw Creek Overlook is great.

Nice little cabin. Close to downtown Asheville. If you like rustic this is the place from for you.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It had a great view, quiet, and cabin was a perfect size. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. On the drive back to the property one day we saw a family of bears down the street. Such an awesome experience.

My wife and loved the cabin, location, and convenience of the check in process.

Very cute cabin. Plenty of places to sleep. Cabin could use a little updating but otherwise we love the kitchen & grill so we could cook for ourselves. We saw a bear and a six point buck. Beautiful location.

This past weekend, we enjoyed a little get away to Asheville. The area was beautiful and our little cabin was just what we were looking for down a long windy road surrounded by nothing but trees.
Nothing fancy but very comfortable. In fact we never left for an entire day. Just laid around, watch movies, worked on a puzzle, and enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely come back again!

Rustic comfort away from it all but close to many options for daytime activities.

We enjoyed our stay but this feels far more like you're staying in a family member's late1980s or early 90s cabin (comfortable to a point, but NO updated comfy sleeping mattresses or pillows (old/flat/and VERY tilted lumpy futon), no soap/shampoo/, thrift store-esque towels etc. Definitely not professionally cleaned between uses but "clean enough."
We had ZERO issue with that because we're used to camping, aren't high-maintenance, and enjoyed the peaceful surrounds and access to hiking. We also enjoued the hot tub in the evenings.
That said, I've stayed in many different vacation rentals over the years and this was pretty bare bones and "faded." I feel like some people may be unhappy if they're expecting one thing and get another...which is why I'm being candid.
I say all this because nice hotels in the area had rooms for similar prices and we were debating which way to go...ultimately opting for this cabin. If you prefer spick-and-span interiors, modern mattress/pillows, soft fluffy towels, soap/shampoo, etc - this may not be the best fit.

This adorable little cabin was perfect for our Ashville / Hiking trip ending ea j day in the outdoor hot tub on back deck. Close enought ot town to check out Ashville and have a nice dinner. The Hiking trail Mountain to Sea is located behind the property and has now be one one of my favorite trails to hike.
They also own a couple yurts on the same street to fit larger families.

Wonderful communication by the host- everything was just as described. This cabin was a perfect fit for our hiking trip!

Stayed with our two small dogs for a concert in town at Rabbit Rabbit. Very rustic wood cabin, as pictures show it is pretty old,and a bit worn down, but hey, a secluded mountain cabin .Very clean but furniture is worn and fold out couch is not very comfortable to sit on at all. Bed is a bit too worn but okay for two nights. Did not use any of the kitchen, and there was only one ice tray and no ice maker so had to buy some. Water is well water so be prepared for showers with that type water feeling. We loved the location as it is only about 20 minutes from downtown, and a short walk up the hill gets you to a spur off of the Mountain to Sea trail along the parkway-great elevated hike to a great view from the Haw Creek Valley Overlook !
Biggest negative is the road to get to the cabin itself, thank goodness we read the paperwork that describes the gravel road, were going to take our VW Passat but then decided to drive our Ford Expedition. The VW would have struggled and bottomed out on some of the ruts for sure. Don't need four wheel drive, but a higher vehicle is a plus. I've also never been a fan of essentially single lane hilly gravel roads, as if 2 cars approach each other, someone is going to have cautiously reverse until a wider area is found, and there are some pretty sharp blind turns, so be cautious. Luckly, we never had to back up as we never encountered an approaching car for two days.Would stay here again, but would probably look for a better road home instead.

Great stay would definitely stay again love how secluded you are but so close to everything as well

Cabin was the perfect size, cozy, great amenities included, and in a wonderful location. Just 5 minutes to downtown or you could be on the Parkway in under 5 minutes too. Wish we could've stayed longer. Directions were precise. The road wasn't bad at all, very well maintained. Can't wait to go back!

Great stay! The cabin was close to the blue ridge parkway, easy to get downtown, and quiet in the evenings. Could look up at the stars at night while relaxing in the hot tub! Would stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was the cutest and was super easy to get to downtown Asheville. Love that there was a grocery store 5 mins from the cabin as well! I hope to come back and stay again someday!

The cabin was adorable! It is pretty small, so definitely not a place for more than three people. We had one friend over for dinner, and cooking in the small kitchen got chaotic really fast. Not a lot of counter space, but we made it work. The driving instructions were accurate, so be sure to read them before driving there! The gravel road is terrifying, with potholes, tight turns, and steep slopes. We had an older honda civic, and she was NOT happy going up that hill. We also had a good deal of rain during our stay, which made the drive up and down scary and didn't allow us to use the hot tub more than once. The hot tub water was weird - the house guide explained why; something to do with the well they draw from, but it said it was safe to use. We both got coughing fits from the water vapor, so we didn't use it long. Otherwise, the house is the perfect Asheville home to stay in! Excellent on-foot access to hiking trails and beautiful surroundings. Also super close to Ingles grocery store/gas station.

Great little get away property. We enjoyed it for our 31st Anniversary. Overall great cabin. Small, cozy, private. Very nicely priced. Only a couple miles to any kind of businesses you need. Definitely be back.

Filthy place, I mean unsanitary. Worse experience with VRBO. Obviously, online crooks who just want to scam a buck. Both of them.

Loved the privacy but was still close enough drive to downtown.

We loved our stay at the Little Moose Cabin! It was well maintained, quiet and cozy. Close to Asheville, but secluded and private! Perfect!

Super close and convenient to Ashville! The cabin was cozy and hottub was nice.

The only problem was a little trouble finding the cabin. The directions say to turn at the Rite Aid. It is now a Dollar Store. Otherwise, we could not have enjoyed our stay more. The cabin was perfect. We did not use the hot tub but all the information was available for us to do so. The location was great, not too far from the city center. We hiked on the nearby trail by the parkway and stopped at an overlook which was gorgeous. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I loved this little cabin. It’s very nice and has everything you need to have a cozy time. The bed was firm and comfortable. The linens were nice and clean and overall we were very comfortable. The shower could’ve been wiped down, but it didn’t smell like mold or anything and the curtain was clean. The owner is very nice and responsive if you need anything. We ended up needing the propane tank replaced and he did so discreetly. The hot tub was also amazing and surprising clean for being in the woods. We will definitely stay here again (and hopefully soon!).

We loved this little mountain cabin! Our only complaint is that it seemed to need a really good cleaning. Other than that, no complaints! We even saw bears! Would rent again!

Had an amazing experience. First time using vrbo but will not be the last time. Just what we needed.

We loved the location and hot tub
