About this apartment rental

Our condo is newly renovated and ready for the summer season! We kept our "beachy" colors but did significant upgrades to kitchen, living area, and bathrooms.
This bright, colorful and decidedly "beachy" oceanfront condo is perfect for a family vacation or last-minute beach trip! Flat screen TV's in the living room and both bedrooms, as well as high speed, secure internet (not shared with the rest of the building). The Ocean Front master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a new Beautyrest mattress, private full bath with rainwater shower and detachable hand-held wand, and access to the oceanfront balcony. There are 2 twin beds In the street-facing second bedroom with access to the full hall bathroom with tub/shower. These can also be converted to a king bed with a converter kit provided. There is also a queen sleeper sofa with upgraded Memory Foam mattress in the living room should you need the extra bed space. The oceanfront balcony offers breathtaking views (make sure to catch at least one sunrise on your stay). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a week at the beach (and all appliances are brand new), with a Ninja Mega-Kitchen System blender, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and J. A. Henckels kitchen cutlery. But, if you'd rather not cook, there are loads of restaurants really close by. Some of our favorites are Kate's Pancake House, Havana's, Michaelangelo's Pizza, Pop's Diner, and of course, the famous Britt's Donuts. And the Veggie Wagon (just across US 421) is a real treat, offering farm-fresh veggies, freshly baked baguettes, deli sandwiches, take-and-bake pizza's, fruit smoothies, and a pretty good selection of beer and wine.
In addition to a great time on the beach, you have access to bike rentals just two blocks away (one of our family's favorite activities is to bike down to Fort Fisher and catch the ferry to Southport). The Carolina Beach Greenway is accessible at the lake which is just across the street. Here you will find a nice walking, running, cycling, or skating trail, peddle boat rentals, and there are family movies every Sunday night.
Two blocks away you will find the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, with shops, restaurants, Britt's Donuts and an amusement park. Thursday nights there are fireworks from the boardwalk. See them there, or enjoy them from the beach or the deck of the condo.
The unit has spacious covered parking that can accommodate two larger sized vehicles or three smaller ones. We've been coming to Carolina Beach for over 20 years and have owned this unit since 2008. It's slow-paced and relaxing, a perfect location for a family wanting to unwind or for a couple looking for a quiet, romantic getaway. We love spending time here, and we think you will too! Enjoy!

My husband, furkid and I have rented and Betsy's and Chris's beach condo for several years in a row and will continue to stay there when we visit Carolina Beach. The condo is the nicest we have ever stayed at, Betsy and Chris are great to work with, the condo is in a great location with easy access to the beach and all restaurants in Carolina Beach. We highly recommend staying at their condo.

Condo directly on the beach. Close to boardwalk, restaurants, shops. Beach rentals within walking distance ie paddle boards etc. Covered parking, outdoor shower, small pool and garbage all easy access. Comfortable bed in master bedroom. Kitchen stocked with dishes, pans and utensils. Large size frig. Good working AC and ceiling fans. Owners responsive in a timely manner to questions about condo operations as well as offering tips for restaurants, chair and linen rentals. Sea turtle nest observation directly in front of condo. Hopefully the next renter will enjoy the hatching! Had a great week 🏖️

We loved the beach and how close it was to the beach! The owners were very responsive and easy to contact. We had a few suggestions/issues: The accordion door by the laundry was broken and that made it challenging to use the laundry and the dryer did not turn off with the timer. Having more than 1 towel per guest would be nice too. Having higher seating on the balcony would make viewing the ocean waves easier. But These were minor and did not impact our enjoyment of the unit and the beach!

It's always clean and kept well. We love to sit on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine. Chris & Betsy like to keep the look of the place fresh and this year they changed out the older curtain for some beautiful blue ones! This is always our go-to spot for beach time!! Couldn't ask for anything better. Condo was clean and decorated so beautiful. The view is gorgeous and the location is perfect. We parked the car and walked to restaurants and shopping on the boardwalk everyday. Perfect getaway. Ive stayed twice and hope to get to go again next year.

Last minute spring break trip. Great location and lots to do even when the weather wasn’t perfect. Location to the beach and boardwalk was great. The aquarium and ferry to Southport were fun day trips. The donuts at the boardwalk were amazing.

This was the best condo we have ever stayed in! The condo was the perfect size, very clean and was very well stocked. The views were amazing and the best part was we were right on the beach! Our daughter attends UNCW and it was close enough to see her everyday and close to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

This property is beautifully decorated and the furniture is very comfortable. Quiet street without much traffic and steps from the beach. Love the end unit for the extra windows and the view can’t be beat! Chris and Betsy were wonderful to work with - very responsive and on top of things. I would highly recommend this property!

This was our 3rd visit to Chris & Betsy's place. We still loved it! Even with tropical storm Idalia whipping by us, we were safe and dry in the condo. Being right on the beach, the balcony view gave us some incredible views of the waves and sky! We are already figuring our schedule out to make 2024's reservations!

What a great vacation! We enjoyed our stay in the Sands III Unit 2A. Beautiful condo with everything we needed! The location near the boardwalk was so convenient. Loved the fireworks on the beach on Thursday night! The small pool was perfect for my two little grands. Chris and Betsy, the owners, were wonderful. We are looking forward to renting from them again. Just perfect!

Truly one of the best locations we've ever stayed at a beach rental. Steps from the sand, the boardwalk and restaurants! And even with it being so close to everything on a holiday week, the beach was uncrowded and really clean. The view from the condo is top notch, with a big beautiful deck. Super comfy beds and nicely decorated. Only thing is we felt the unit could use good deep cleaning, especially the kitchen and washing machine. That would not deter us from staying there again though, it was a fantastic week!

This condo is awesome. Location is perfect for looking out over the ocean to watch the sun rise, just steps away from being on the beach or just sitting on the balcony looking out over the water. This condo was perfect for a long weekend at the beach. The main thing I was looking for was a nice ocean front balcony to sit and drink coffee, read, eat, play cards...and this place did not disappoint. The balcony is huge with plenty of seating options, and is where I spent most of my time when here. The kitchen was modern and very well equipped. The location was perfect, right on the beach, and within walking distance to the boardwalk, coffee and restaurants. The property owner was a delight to chat with, I ended up with a bit of a family emergency causing us to have to delay our trip and she was so understanding and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

We had a nice weekend in this condo on the beach. The bed was comfortable, the wifi was strong (for a couple days of telecommuting), and the kitchen was nicely updated. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed coffee and drinks on the large balcony. The unit is showing a little wear and tear but we appreciated being able to take our dog.

We absolutely LOVED this condo. The furnishings are stylish and comfortable, and everything you need is there. The owners are super nice, very responsive and there are thoughtful touches/amenities left for you as guests. The location could not be better, you are right over the beach and have a fantastic view. And, you can walk to pretty much anything in town. Lots of options for restaurants, and the condo is also really dog friendly. We would definitely recommend staying here!
