About this cabin rental

3 bedroom Cabin on large lot with 150 feet of lakeshore. Great water recreation and great fishing. Large lot has a sand VB court, lots of space for yard games, also has two play systems and tepee for kids. A small rowboat, paddle boat, swim dock, bikes and lift available too. Pickleball, Biking trails, golf courses and state park near by...renting monthly. Prices are negotiable.

WINTER RENTING - max of 8 people, the bunkhouse is not heated and therefore unavailable during cold weather months.

During the warmer weather, it has an additional bunk house and travel trailer for guests. Lake Minnewaska is the 13th largest lake in Minnesota, it is nestled between the two quaint towns of Starbuck and Glenwood, it has four restaurant and bars on the lake, two fantastic beaches and one of the sandiest and cleanest lakes in the state.

Many beautiful fall/winter weekends available!! Maximum of 8 renters in colder months

Large backyard and good beach. We had a lot of older teens and they loved the volleyball net and beach sand court. Housing was not luxurious but was adequate to suit feeding and sleeping needs... good beds and good air conditioning. Small kitchen with no real indoor eating area.

Ed was a gracious host and communicated well. He even texted the next morning after a severe thunderstorm to check on us. It was an extremely hot week, which highlighted some shortcomings with the property, as it forced us inside most days. Pros: the big yard was great for the kids, especially the volleyball court. It was a lifesaver that the house was air conditioned. The lake is beautiful. There were lots of athletic gear provided, including bikes. The kids loved having the bunkhouse as their play/sleeping area. Cons: We had 4 couples but only three bedrooms. The bunkhouse was not insulated and even with the two small window units Ed provided running constantly, it has often unbearably hot in there. The water front was mucky and weedy, not very conducive to swimming. The only water craft available was row boat. There was little room indoors for eating or sitting. Poorly functioning door knobs in key areas were a problem, especially for the kids. Dim lighting made it hard for reading or playing games. We would recommend this rental for groups that can comfortably fit in the house. Use by larger groups like ours (8 adults, 6 children) leaves you dependent on favorable weather conditions.

We enjoyed our stay at this vRBO very much! The owner was super flexible with our schedule and it was neat and clean and had everything we needed at a affordable price. We had a small group in town for a wedding. And this home was close to our activities.

All in all we had a great time only downside was the weather, not anyone can control. We loved the volleyball court and the screened in porch made it great to sit around playing games!! It was spacious for all 16 of us!!

Winter fishing trip with a group of guys. We wanted a clean, comfy place to sleep, shower and hang out. This place was exactly what we needed.

We booked this property for a family reunion. We had 7 adults and 2 children. The bunkhouse was a nice private space for the family with small children. Any crying at night did not wake the rest of the group. The two play sets, large lawn and sandy beach were great for the kids. They kept themselves amused with all the activities. There are a bunch of toys, bikes and equipment that the owner shares with his guests. Overall a great week.

Loved the volleyball court, swing set, tree house and various lawn games! Due to the dry summer the lake wasn’t the shore was not good for the small children to play on…so unfortunately there was very little swimming. Plenty of sleeping room but a kitchen and living room a bit too small for our sized family. We had a very enjoyable time inspite of the mucky lake shore…still plenty of fun to be had! The bunkhouse was a great help and we loved the screened in porch!

This property had TONS of room for our family to spread out and relax together. There is plenty of sleeping and activity space. Ed was very attentive and accommodating. He had everything we needed including a well-stocked supply of extra life jackets, bicycles, and a variety of sports/game equipment. Many convenient surprises that made our stay so enjoyable. We had so much fun hanging out together at the cabin. It was just what we needed. We'd definitely come back!

The property was spacious, clean, and located in a quiet area. All went well. My only issue was the landlord liked to communicate via text message rather than Vrbo. I also had to make time to meet prior to my stay to sign an additional house rules aggreement, which all could have been done electronically. Overall, I would stay there again.

The cabin and bunk house had plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy. The yard and access to water was great for our grandchildren. Cabin was rustic. Many yard games, water toys, play area, and bikes available for use. We had a lot of fun playing games at night in the screened in porch. Close to the towns of Starbuck and Glenwood for any needed supplies.
