We stayed at this charming Victorian home for my daughter's graduation. The house is just that charming, older, victorian home. Spacious, clean, and adorable. 2 kitchens, 2 washer/dryer sets, what else do you need? Restaurant within walking distance. Close to many attractions the twin cities have to offer. And close to the graduation ceremony for my daughter... perfect! Communication with the owner was quick, responsive, and friendly!

Such a beautiful house with plenty of places to sleep and spend time with our friend group. We appreciated how easy it was to park and get in. We were close to an awesome coffee shop and plenty of places in St Paul. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, cleaning supplies, coffee. This house was a gem and were so happy to have found it!

We had a group of friends, and this place was perfect!
Plenty of sleeping space, nice yard, second kitchen upstairs and great location. Highly recommend checking out Brunson's, a bar and grill right next to the house. If I need to accommodate a group again in the Twin Cities I will definitely rebook here!

We were a little concerned based on the location but the inside made up for it. It was a well overall nice place to fit a group of 17 consisting of adults and small children. Most of the places we wanted to go were about 30 minutes in either directions. Had some things came up that we needed from the manager, we contacted them and they responded back in a timely manner.

Fantastic communication with the owner. It is truly a huge and funky home. We had everything we needed. The living room area is fairly small, but we spread out between the dining room and living room and had plenty of space.
We had fun thinking about the home's history and eating at the many local restaurants - all were wonderful. We had a authentic Mexican and Thai just a block away, and also enjoyed Magnolia's and Tongue in Cheek.
The neighborhood was quiet for the most part other than a couple disturbances. It didn't feel unsafe, even to our group of suburban women.
It was winter, so we only had street parking, but there was no issues finding spots.
This is a very old property, so there are all the things that go with an old house, so if you are up for an adventure and love old and quirky homes, this was a really fun stay.

We stayed here for the state wrestling tournaments at the Excel and it was perfect. All we needed was a place for a couple families to sleep comfortably and prepare meals in between matches. This was perfect. Bedrooms are nice and big and spaced throughout the house so it was quiet for everyone to get some sleep. Two kitchens were awesome!!

We had a great time; the location was convenient, easy to find, and the house nicely laid out for our group.

Plenty of beds/rooms, bathroom on every level was very convenient. The open dinning room/living room area made it nice to have family in both areas and still communicate and watch little ones.

Large home with lots of character and charm! Sleeps many people with a lot of space to spread out and cook in two different kitchens. Would recommend if you’re in the East Saint Paul area!

I was traveling with my family and the house was perfect for my needs in terms of sleeping space. The house was huge and came equipped with basic daily household items. Rachel was very responsive every time I reached out to her. The house was a little older and needed a little bit of TLC everywhere. But over all I had a nice experience.

What a huge, airy eclectic space. The books and games were an added unexpected bonus. Would stay here again, if ever back in St Paul

Small City Home with character
This home was a nice stay. The house is a typically narrow city home with lots of architectural details, which give it a lot of character. The neighbors were a little loud in the middle of the night and the curb appeal could use some updating. There was cigarettes everywhere outside of the porch one morning, but were cleaned up when we returned later in the day. Overall, the interior was cozy and homey.

The owner was very nice and positive in all communications. I had to add my son to the booking at the last minute and she was great about that. Overall everything was as advertised and I have minimal complaints. Getting in and out was convenient and plenty of parking. There is a big dining room, TV with plenty of DVDs they leave for guests. I had no problems with the WiFi. We stayed in the downstairs unit and there is an upstairs unit for which noise carries directly downstairs. Conversations and footsteps can be easily heard. The couches are a bit outdated and not super comfortable, with a bit of outdated smell to them. Kitchen had basic supplies. Again, overall it was just what they said it was on the site. It definitely did the trick for our 5 day stay.

The description says the property is in a "quaint" neighborhood. The definition of quaint is, "charminly odd in an old fashioned way". However, the neighborhood is very run down and not at all charming. It was also a bit farther from everything than described. The exterior was run down and when we entered there was a funny, musty smell. We sprayed Febreze around to get out the stuffiness. The kitchen, bathroom and the smaller bedroom were very nice and very clean. The bed in the smaller room by the kitchen was very comfortable but the bed in the larger room was so uncomfortable (saggy) for my friends that we switched the second night. The larger bedroom would be nicer if it was painted white and the wierd mural on the ceiling was gone. There were also little bugs flying around in there and my friend had little bites. They were not bed bugs! don't worry about that. The sofa bed in the living room was old and saggy but we didn't unfold it so I don't know how comfortable it is to sleep on. I feel bad leaving a negative review but feel that other people should know this before they book. It would be a good place for a large group maybe. My friends were visiting from out of the country and I wanted to stay in a nice place to give them a feel for how we live in the Midwest but it was disappointing and embarassing when we arrived. Sorry.

Spacious Home
The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for all 7 of us! The decor was like taking a step back in time, the radiator heaters were probably my favorite part!! The kiddos also loved every minute of our stay, I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone traveling to Minnesota! It was a short 15 minute drive to Mall of America which everyone should see at least once!!

Priced right and the owner was very accomodating.

Spacious place for 3 or 4 people.
Very clean and well maintained. The only way to get the same amenities would be to get a suite in a hotel with a kitchenette. But even then you wouldn't have as much room, and it would cost a lot more. It's close to everything. Less than 10 minutes to a Cub Foods. Less than 10 minutes to Caribou Coffee. 20 minutes to airport. 20 minutes to Mall of America. 20 minutes to downtown Minneapolis.
The one quirk is that the stairs going to the 2nd floor unit go over one of the bedrooms. But tbhat was the only time we heard the people upstairs.

Enjoyed the stay. Nice place with lots of charm close to a cool downtown area.

Cute two bedroom apartment
We enjoyed our week and a half at the apartment. It was nicely decorated, and had all the charm of an old St. Paul home with the cool woodwork, etc. Having laundry access was great! Cub Foods was just a few blocks away, which was handy. I couldn't give it 5 stars because we didn't find the beds to be very comfortable, but it was otherwise a nice place to stay.
