My husband and I stayed here for 9 glorious days. The studio is as pictured; two spacious rooms and a bath with a patio. And it’s spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.Plenty of hot water.Large capacity washer and dryer.Open glass sliding doors and the front door and you have lots of fresh air flowing through. And the view is amazing from the patio. There is a nice parking area close to studio too which upon arrival a personalized welcome sign was on privacy fence so we would know where to park. While the studio is nestled between the main house and a cottage with a permanent tenant,it is very private. This is much appreciated. After a busy day taking in all that Hood River has to offer coming back to the studio was a delight. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again.Thank you John and Allison.

My husband, daughter, and I spent three nights in Hood River. This rental was clean and provided plenty of space for the three of us (our daughter slept in a pack n play). My husband and I enjoyed watching the sunset from the back patio. It was less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Hood River and the Indian Creek Trail provided a good running option right from the VRBO. The property managers were wonderful: kind and thoughtful but also respectful of our privacy and not overbearing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Hood River has so much to offer!

Exactly as pictured! Sparkling clean, full of all amenities, beautiful weather so we had a wonderful view of Mount Adams the entire time. Very comfy bed! Fantastic kitchen - we grilled out and cooked in It really is a chef’s kitchen with everything you need. Close to great wineries and a wonderful restaurant! Easy check in & out with a very helpful host:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely and well-appointed studio. The setting and views are beautiful and we enjoyed the privacy this studio offers. Everything we needed was available and the unit has a large, very nice kitchen/living room area. The entire unit is so large it does not feel like a studio. We enjoyed the rural setting and beautiful vistas, but still were only minutes from downtown Hood River.

It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city but literally 3 minutes away to drive to! My husband and I had the best time here, we even had chill days at the studio because of how cozy and ideal it was!

The studio is spacious, well-located, quiet and private. The kitchen is also well-supplied with herbs and spices and adequate baking pans and cooking utensils. Foggy on the first day, we did see Mt Adams on the second day. In warmer weather I can see the patio area and BBQ nicely utilized. This unit has all the comforts of home and was just right for us. Thank you!

Staying at the Studio is such a fantastic, relaxing experience. This time we enjoyed spending part of the summer at this well furnished, well cared for studio apartment. The studio is an easy drive into town as well as easily accessible to other scenic areas. John and Alison are excellent, friendly hosts who definitely make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. Cannot wait to return.

We went to scrapbook. My friend and I rent a place every year for the 2 of us to get together. This studio was wonderful! Perfect size, plenty of room for what we needed. And such a beautiful area!

This studio was absolutely beautiful and the location for Mount Hood and Columbia River Gorge was perfect! The town of Hood River is fun and unique! Lots of Shops, Breweries, and Wineries! Hiking and sigtseeing is a short drive away! John and Alison are the perfect Hosts, too. I must add that people in Oregon are so upbeat and friendly! Loved it there! This is a trip my husband and I will never forget! I highly recommend this Studio for any couple just wanting to get away for a peaceful, relaxing vacation! It felt wonderful returning to the studio every evening after exploring the area! I sure hope our travels will bring us back someday!

We loved our stay. John and Allison were the perfect hosts. We got lucky enough to see Mount Adams out the back windows! The studio is spacious and has a wonderfully well-stocked kitchen. We also saw hummingbirds out the kitchen window--a surprise to us this late in the season (mid-October). There is a fantastic winery less than a quarter mile away on Post Canyon Road, which we were able to visit. All in all, just a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it!

We stayed here for 4 nights and took day trips to explore the area. The studio is a perfect location and a lovely base camp to come home to. It was spotless (I'm particular about that) and well stocked for cooking. The BBQ is very nice and a big bonus. It's easy to get to the Fruit Loop, Mt. Hood, wineries, etc. John is a gracious host (unfortunately we never got to meet Alison). Hope to come back someday so we can see all the waterfalls as they were closed since the fire.
