About this house rental

Enjoy Our 3 bedroom 2 bath camp its conveniently located on the canal at 419 Lake Breeze Dr. It is fully furnished with all of the comforts of home and sleeps up to 10 guest. The master bed room has a Queen bed and bathroom. The second bedroom has two Full size beds and The third room has two full size beds and linens are provided for each bed. Our camp offers a large top deck overlooking the canal with comfy outdoor furniture and speakers for your enjoyment. A wraparound porch, private boat slip, cleaning station, BBQ pit/grill for your "catch of the day." Each room has a flat screen TV and satellite, free WI-FI, and plenty of parking. The Kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel appliances, pots and pans, utensils , coffee pot, toaster, rice cooker, and blender. Towels are provided as well as a washer and dryer. This camp is perfect for anything from a quick fishing trip to a summer vacation. Lake Calcasieu is world class for big trout and monster Red fish. Not only is the fishing and crabbing spectacular but duck hunting in Hackberry and Cameron parish is also world class. Our camp is centrally located and minutes from the casinos in Lake Charles, Holly Beach and the Creole Nature Trails. Book a guided fishing trip, and have your guide pick you up and drop you off right from the dock of the house. This camp is sure to please and a great place to make memories. Only one boatslip is available during your stay as Owner reserves one boat slip at all times.

Place was clean, roomy and had everything we needed. Fish cleaning station is top notch and loved the big lazy boy couch recliner in the living room. We were also able to check in hours early which is always a huge plus.

This place is beautiful! The house itself and the property it sits on. Very easy checkin and the smelled and looked so clean when we walked in. The owners need to take new pictures because they don’t do this place justice. We loved the openness of the house, the full size washer and dryer and the two double beds in two of the rooms. We really appreciated the fact that it had a broom and a mop and a vacuum that we had access to. There were paper towels and toilet paper stocked as well. The also had a Keurig and a full size coffee pot. Lots of seasonings. The house sits over the water. The ice machine was GREAT! We also loved that there was a bathroom downstairs. There is a huge concrete slab that provides a lot of parking. We had more family rent in the same area and there was plenty of parking for when we boiled our crab and shrimp. (We brought our burner and pot from home) A pot and burner for boiling your catch of the day would be icing on the cake! The kids crabbed right off the dock! The upstairs patio and the downstairs is so nice! There is a bar area with a sink downstairs that was great for setting up a blender for virgin daiquiris for the kids. It can’t speak highly enough about this place! Thank B you for sharing your home with us!

This property is perfect for a fishing trip. The house is a 2 min boat ride to the nearest marina. The downstairs area was so well thought out, I wouldn't add anything. Extremely convenient. Would definitely book again in a heartbeat

This is our fourth time to stay at the house and it’s always enjoyable and relaxing. The kids crab from the channel, go on trips with fishing guides, look for seashells at the beach 15ish min away and go alligator sighting on the way. Small, quiet town and house is on a quiet street. Everything is wonderful! We will continue to keep visiting!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, well- equipped, nicely situated for fishing/crabbing. The property is perfect for the setting. Fish cleaning table is the best I’ve ever used. Highly recommend this property.

We had such a great stay! The house was in a perfect location. Easy access to the bait shop and fishing spots. The house itself was comfortable, clean and well stocked. Melissa responded immediately to my questions and was very accommodating. We have found our new favorite house in Hackberry and will definitely rent this house on our next visit.

This is our second time to visit the property, and we will likely be back again, over the summer. Everything was just as listed! The house is clean and offers most items you would need in the kitchen. There’s a channel behind the house that the kids crab and fish in, the beach is about 15-20 min from the house, we even drove for a bit to spot some alligators with much luck! It’s only 2 1/2 hours from home and residents in the area are friendly. Can’t wait til our next visit!

We stayed at the property over the week of Thanksgiving 2022. There was plenty of room to host our friends and family. The property was exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked and had nice appliances. Having our boat tied up downstairs made it easy to go out as weather permitted. The nearby fishing was amazing - we caught loads of redfish, black drums (one over 40 pounds), trout and sheepshead. We caught tons of crabs as well. We put the fish cleaning station to good use and having an ice machine on property was super convenient. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean nicely decorated home. Husband's loved the boat slip under the house. Beds are firm. Lots of towels. Ice machine was so handy, it'll now be a must for new rentals! Boat hanging in slip sweaked when high tide reached the bottom of it under the master bedroom. But most of the time it was quite. House had everything you needed for cooking! Loved it!
