About this apartment rental

This excellently located deluxe two bedroom, two bath condominium is on the ground floor with southern exposure and easy access. It is light and bright with hardwood floors, and it has a full kitchen and dining area, a wood-burning fireplace, TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, wireless internet, a washer and dryer, and off-street parking. It is less than a block to the Silver Queen Gondola. There is a brick wood burning fireplace in the condo, The master bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom has one twin and one full. Chateau Chaumont is in the downtown core and just 100 yards from the Aspen Mountain gondola, and Aspen's world class shopping, dining, and skiing are all right outside the door. The building's common courtyard has a wonderful private community hot tub! Call us, and allow McCartney Property Management's guest services to open the door to your Aspen experience! Great location in the center of Aspen Village. Very close to the Gondola. Restaurants were only steps away. The free bus to Snowmass was a very short walk. Our dog was welcomed and there were plenty of areas around the condo to walk the her. Moreover, Aspen is VERY DOG FRIENDLY. Property manager was very responsive, including two cleanings during our 15 day stay.

Great apartment. Enjoyed how close it was to everything, hot tub while small was great after a long day of skiing. If I had one complaint, it's that we had loud neighbors above us, but they were also renters and not much they could do in that situation!

The condo is nestled at the edge of downtwon Aspen, with easy access to a park, restaurants, galleries and shopping - literally everything Aspen has to offer. It was clean and comfortable, with all of the amenities needed for a perfect stay. The property management company ensured all aspects of the rental were seamless, including excellent communication, ease of check-in and multiple parking options.

This property is about two blocks east of ajax. On the map its unclear how close it is but its walking distance to everything in town and the bus stop for shuttles. Has a large bed in the master and single bed and double in the other bedroom. Works great for families with two kids. Property management is very available , even during the holidays.

The condo was in a great location, but the condo was dirty. The rugs in the condo looked filthy. I didn’t even want my puppy walking on them! The floors terribly scratched and beat up but could live with that. NOT the filthy rugs. They need to be replaced! Bedrooms were okay and baths were okay. Bedroom rugs huge black areas and throw rugs just filthy. Would not stay at this condo again, unfortunately.

Hot tub was right outside our door and we were able to go everyday despite covid 😷 because it’s a small complex. Right next to city market and Aspen mountain. Great parking space right out our door. We loved it ! I’m afraid we will never get to go back because we lucked out this place is always booked and I see why !!!!

We had a great time at this property over the Christmas holiday. It could not have been more perfect! The location is ideal. The condo is beautifully renovated and the kitchen has everything you need to cook in - even a crock pot for slow cooked dinners that are ready when you finish skiing! The 2 bathrooms (with heated floors) are perfect. Beds are very comfortable and the hot tub is right out the front door. Parking spot in the garage was amazing to make for frost free mornings! Don’t hesitate to rent this unit!

Excellent property in a perfect location

This property has been recently updated and was perfect for our family of 4. The owners thought of everything, down to heated floors in both bathrooms (I had no idea that I needed those!). The beds are comfy (having 2 beds in the second bedroom was great). The kitchen is well provisioned. Since this is a first floor unit they included great privacy blinds that open from the top down to let natural light in. Bedrooms also have near-blackout blinds (in case your group includes some nappers). We loved this property and quickly got over the fact that it doesn't have mountain views. The community hot tub was just outside the front door and was a nice place to socialize at the end of the day. The property management company did a great job of keeping sidewalks and steps clear. Above all the location of this condo can't be beat! You're 2 blocks from the base of the gondola...close enough that I let my 10 year old walk it by herself! The City Market (small but has everything you need) grocery store is a block away. Finally the liquor/wine/beer store is 1/2 block away. I could easily run out and be back with almost anything we'd need in 10 minutes.

We stayed here in off season (Oct 13-15). The Chateau Chaumont is in a great location. Everything is pretty much walking distance, including slopes, all the restaurants, etc. The condo is very inviting and comfortable. perfect for 2 couples or a family with kids.

The only issues we had are this place is on the ground floor and you can hear people walking around upstairs at night, plus during the summer you have to leave you windows open to in bring cool fresh air in and it can be quite noisey from others walking down the street but it's Aspen, so a lot of people are living in the same small area, so you just figure it out and remain grateful for the beautiful surroundings you are visiting. Parking two out of our four nights was also an issue as all the spots were taken in our designated area so we had to park a couple of blocks away. Just make sure you get a map and all your parking options when you pick up the keys. Still a great summer value.

This is a beautifully updated condo on E Durant Ave just two short blocks to the Silver Queen Gondola (less than 5 min walk). City Market grocery is literally a 2 minute walk. The condo is a first floor unit right next to the hot tub. The condo itself was impeccably clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need - a full kitchen with everything needed to cook full meals (incl all Bosch appliances)although you'll most likely want to go out since there are so many delicious restaurants to walk to right in downtown Aspen! Another great perk of this unit is a washer and dryer right in the unit! We had a wonderful trip and a great experience at Chateau Chamount 1 and hope to return soon!

This rental is perfect for staying in Aspen. The places looks exactly like the photos, and is very spacious. The location is perfect and right in the middle of town - you can walk to everything in minutes. Parking is provided which is a massive benefit!
