Idéalement situé dans le quartier de Getsemaní

L'hôtel est idéalement situé dans le quartier de Getsemaní et tout peut se faire à pied pour visiter le centre historique. C'est très pratique ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre chambre qui était très confortable et très propre. Le rooftop était également très agréable. Les échanges avec les membres de l'équipe ont été très fluides et c'était très rassurant.

Rien à dire, tout s'est très bien passé ! Le quartier est un peu bruyant mais c'est normal car c'est un quartier très animé et c'est ce qui fait son charme 😊 Si vous voulez de la tranquillité, c'est certain qu'il faut choisir un autre quartier.

El edifico era muy bonito.

Muy linda la instalación.

Demasiado ruido. En la página del hotel no te anuncian el ruido que puede haber. Al llegar te dejan unos tapones en la cama.

Agradable

Situado cerca de todo puedes encontrar restaurantes, bares, tiendas, farmacias, etc. lugares turísticos cerca del hospedaje…

Las habitaciones comparten los baños y tuvimos un percance con la señora encargada del lugar un poco grosera.

Cool

La ubicación es estratégica, muy cerca al centro histórico. Por otro lado, el barrio es muy agradable y colorido, adicionalmente allí se pueden encontra cócteles económicos y muy deliciosos.

Nunca encontramos el interruptor de la luz en la sala, por lo que cuando entrabamos al hostal nos tocaba a ciegas hasta entrar a la habitación.

the town is a party! the hotel provided ear plugs but I honestly did not need them. When you walk out of the front door

Very very confortable beds and beding.

We rented the Rooms with balcony and King size beds, very very confortable and clean. The fact that there is no private bathroom dud not botter us, they are just beside the rooms.

Lots of noise at night but like everywhere in Getsemini

There are much better rooms in the city.

It is close to the city center and it has a nice rooftop.

It was very damp, room had a weird smell, we didn’t feel it was clean, bathroom is shared and we would have nothing against that if it was cleaned properly and daily. After a day it was already a catastrophy. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Pleasant

Great location, nice rooftop with skyline of Cartagena

The furniture started to disassemble itself. There was no chair or wardrobe to hang and dry clothes. The room had no real windows so the aircon had to be on all the time. The bedding and room itself were not pretty much clean. The shared bathroom has not been cleaned for 3 days despite the toilet was out of order for a day and we reported the issue to the owner.

Location just by the city center and terrace

during the night it could turn noisy outside (not because of the hostel but bc of the street and the whole neighbourhood), just to keep in mind if you are a calm person and you choose getsemani for your stay!

Great location, amazing rooftop patio with a great view of the harbor. A very convenient location in a historic part of the city. Marilyn the house keeper was extremely helpful.

Missing toilet seat in one of the shared bathrooms. Bathrooms are very small. This is a party section of the city, my noise canceling headphones came in handy.

Great location

The BEST location ever. Right in the middle of everything!

The room was as expected for a casa in cartagena. The only complaint is the room smelled of mildew and there was visible mildew on the bathroom walls.

Passable

The bed was comfortable, the room had air conditioning which was amazing. Location was great, though it was loud but I think that's just Colombia in general

There was no staff around. Seen someone briefly at check in and at check out but otherwise no sign of them. All the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and there was no one around to ask

Don’t stay here

Location was good although noisy in the evening.

Our room didn’t have a window, but instead had a hole in the wall into the street (with no glass), our room was opposite potentially the noisiest bar in Cartagena and also above the hotels bar next door. Seems like very poor planning, As you can imagine we got bit by many insects due to this but there weee also a disgusting amount of ants in the room. Bathroom was dirty, as was the whole room. Hairs in the supposed clean bed. Check in process was beyond weird, we arrived at the time stated to check in. No-one was there, a random woman finally came into the hotel (there was also no sign outside) and was on the phone for about 20 mins before she finally showed us to our room. Not ideal at all.

Great location, good rooms

The location is wonderful, yes maybe a little loud but that's the point of the Getsemani area. The room was comfortable and the terrace was really nice

As with most properties in Colombia, a hot shower would make it perfect

Location, nobody bother you once i your room.

I feel owner was a bit detached of her duties. The lock in the bathroom broke and my friend and I we paid for unlock the door to the locksmith.

A comfortable bed in a very attractive location

The location was fabulous and as you can see in the pictures it is in a very pretty Instagram worthy place. The room was great and comfortable- the shared bathrooms are small but mostly clean. The water pressure is good but it is cool (not really cold) which was fine as it was so hot.

It is very loud from 9-1am. Parties every night in the bar next door and really loud music which I didn’t mind as I like that Colombian/reggaeton music and can fall asleep anyway. I didn’t like being in the kitchen - it feels like it is their kitchen and you shouldn’t be in there really. I’m not sure if this is true though. Wasn’t very clean and the pan cupboard was hard to open.

Just weird don't stay with

Location is good

The rooftop is a bar so loud music and people walking through building - this wasn't advertised anywhere and unexpected. Hosts weren't there to great us and not very helpful - didn't give us any tips, didn't help us wash clothes and also didn't let us leave bags for a night as we went to an island. Was severely rude as we were going to pay at checkout, but the night before we were meant to leave banged on our door whilst we slept waking us up at 11:30 pm asking for money. We told her we would tomorrow and it was fine, but she woke us up at an hour no host should

Exceptional

We absolutely loved Casa Evelyn. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome. The house is in the most beautiful location in Cartagena. We were amazed. The room was very clean and we felt very safe. The rooftop terrace was gorgeous. A truly special stay!

great value in a great location

perfect location, great AC, rooftop has wonderful views

our room was right next to an office for garbage collectors and it got quite noisy early in the morning. it woke us every time, despite earplugs, the sound of the air conditioner, and white noise. bring great earplugs!

Casa Evelyn is an amazing place to stay! Evelyn was super nice and helpful. She always help me around and if I have questions, she’s always there to answer them. The property is clean and close to everything and the staff was always helpful as well. I recommend for travelers to stay at her place.
