About this house rental
Our house is a four story, updated Victorian located in downtown Milwaukee. The location is perfect for discovering Milwaukee, yet in a quiet and respectful neighborhood.
THE HOUSE
The house is roughly 4,000 sq. ft. with an open concept feel. There are 6 bedrooms consisting of a master bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with a king bed, another room with a queen bed, a room with a double futon, a room with a twin and then a very large room with two twins, a full size and a queen bed. The house has 3 living rooms, all with TVs and one living room houses a pool table. The house also contains not one, but two kitchens for large family gatherings, an office, a small workout area, laundry and a large back yard with patio and grill for outdoor entertaining. Our house also has some great amenities such as a high end massage chair, lovesac and is dog friendly. We have space for everyone to lounge around and chat and a comfortable house that has a welcoming feel. We recently converted our second-floor living room into a home theater with a 120" screen, great for families or movie buffs.
THE LOCATION
It is less then a block away from iconic Brady street, less then a mile away from Water street, North ave, Lake Michigan,a 5 min uber ride/drive to most of Milwaukees attractions. There are over 70 restaurants and bars within walking distance, including 3 grocery stores, many shops, Lakefront Brewery, the beach, the Marina and many more. Two blocks away from a bar which has a shuttle to Summerfest, other festivals, brewers and bucks games and many of the popular concerts.
Occupancy Tax: there will be an Wisconsin state occupancy tax of 15.1% on your reservation applied at checkout.
Our number one rule is that you respect our neighbors. This means we do not allow outside partying after 11pm. Party needs to be taken to a bar or inside the home with the windows shut and music at a reasonable level so that the neighbors can't hear anything. We expect our renters to not negatively impact our neighbors and if the opposite is true fines will be assessed and/or renters will be removed from premises if the cops are called (which they can be as Milwaukee city has a noise ordinance rule that starts at 9pm).
Please respect our neighbors when coming home as well and keep your voices down.
(It is very important that these two rules listed above be followed without fail, if you can't follow them please don't book our place. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.)

There were so many levels and rooms and places to explore! The kids played hide and seek, pool and enjoyed the massage chair along with the adults. There were things we could walk to—a vegan cafe for breakfast, the Lakefront Brewery for a Friday night fish
fry and a free ride on the streetcar to the Public Market for dinner. Out stay was enjoyable and too short!

We enjoyed and laughed about the maze-like layout of this house. It is set up as a party house with lots of amenities for hanging around, but our group was mostly there for meals and sleeping so didn't take full advantage. The vegetation around the house and particularly along the driveway needs to be whacked back.

My friends and I came to Milwaukee for a Bachelor party and Hubbell's home was a perfect fit for us. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out communally or do their own thing if preferred. The neighborhood had bars, and restaurants in walking distance and was a short uber ride to all other major areas. The movie theater made for a great viewing of Top Gun: Maverick. Hubbell was quick to reply and a great host.

Hubble was an excellent host accommodating our special request for early arrival due to the illness of one of our travelers. The ability to climb stairs is important as we lived and slept on three floors. Various beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and the massage chair was fun as was the pool table. Off street parking was ample. The location was great for all the attractions we wanted to visit. The house is owner occupied but we had plenty of space for our 6 person group.

Golf trip
We had 8 guys ranging in age 29-74 and stayed to play at some of the best golf courses Wisconsin has to offer. This home was perfect for us, several extra beds and plenty of space for relaxing.

If you're looking for a large Milwaukee property to host your friends and family of ANY age, look no further. Hubbell and Cassie's home is incredible. You may think you know what the house will feel like inside, but once you step in, it fascinates.
There is no shortage of places to sit, relax, sleep, play or party. Where else do you find five bathrooms?!? We were a bachelorette party of 15 girls and no one had to wait for a shower, for a mirror, or for the loo. Good coffee? Check. Movie Theatre screen with popcorn machine? Check. Backyard set-up to die for? Check. Every gadget imaginable? Check. The Amazon Echo system hooked up to the whole house had us rockin' old school Celine Dion and singing our hearts out. The kitchen had every appliance you could think of. We had perfect weather for all of our activities. The clean and beautiful Bradford and Shorewood beaches were super close via car. Brady and Water St. just mere minutes away. We were bummed we couldn't go out because it looked like such a great street with bars and restaurants and coffeeshops! Even if it had rained, we would have been fully entertained by the pool table or the card games or the access to every streaming service imaginable on the many, many flatscreen TVs in the house. Did I mention the high-end massage chair? Heaven. I cannot fault this place at all.
In the middle of a pandemic, Cassie and Hubbell gave us a little piece of normality.
My one suggestion: I would love to know the history of the house! We thought maybe it was a house someone split into two and then combined back into one again? We all had a different theory. It would be fascinating to read about.
Thank you Cassie and Hubbell for a great, great stay!

Great location and size for a bachelor/bachelorette weekend.
The house was very large and accommodating for our group of 11. I could easily see 14-16 people staying here comfortably. Communication was great, location is perfect for restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again.

Cassie and Hubbell were great hosts and the entire check in process was smooth with keypad locks on the front and back doors. The house is huge and our group easily slept 16 people for a bachelor party without being crammed. The location is just off Brady St which has a bunch of bars and restaurants. We also walked to Lakefront Brewery and MKE Axe throwing. The outdoor area had a driveway that parked 5 cars and a grassy area where we setup bags. Overall we would definitely recommend and stay again when in Milwaukee.

Great Experience in Milwaukee
Having a group our size and able to utilize all the rooms in the house worked out great. Close to everything we were looking to do. Walking distance to excellent restaurants, shopping, brewery tours. Will stay again in the future. Excellent Hosts.

Large house and very accomadating. Everything you can imagine is available here
Place was great! House is amazing and the location is even better. There are enough bathrooms and bedrooms to comfortably sleep around 20. The only negative comment I will mention is that there are a lot of breakable items everywhere you turn.

Perfect house for a large group. Very clean. Owners are helpful and responsive. We would stay here again.

Fantastic Brady Street location, capacious interesting home capable of accommodating large groups.
The location made most of Milwaukee walkable, while having the Brady Street neighborhood right out the door.
Dual kitchens and multiple living areas allow for larger groups to find some element of separation if desired.
The place was clean. However, all fixtures are not completely up to date and some bathroom doors did not lock, so there were a few minor adjustments that had to be made for privacy.
There are multiple TVs throughout the house, including a gaming center on the main floor as well as a pool table.
Cassie was quite responsive to assist with any minor issues or questions that arose. We would definitely consider staying here again!

perfect for a large group
There were 15 in our group, 8 adults 7 children. There was plenty of space for all of us.
The owners were very helpful and answered questions quickly. We would stay here again if we venture to Milwaukee for a second time.

The house has everything we needed plus a great back yard to keep everyone entertained. The whole house was spotless ! Great home for a large group!

Great location, very roomy, easy to work with owners.
This home is truly unique and the location is fantastic as it is very close to the lake, the river walk, and downtown Milwaukee. The main floor itself is very large and accommodating to a good social environment. Also a lot of beds and bathrooms to support a large group. There is a nice patio outside and parking for 4-5 vehicles (which is a plus over street parking). The owners were very responsive to questions about the home and the area.

Great choice for the 30 somethings and their children at our family reunion. Lots of space!
Excellent location for walking to bars and restaurants, and not far from Historic Third Ward. Great to have two kitchen's for large group with diverse food preferences.
4.9
Beautiful home made for large group.
Very nice place to stay. Only draw back is there is a lot of personal breakable items all over the house that you have to keep track of be concerned about. Also dirty laundry and clothes lying around the house. Would be nicer if personal items were put away so as not to have to worry about them. A little too much clutter and nick nacks.
