The house is in a great location across from the beach, with an ocean view from the front porch. The house is in need of some cosmetic updating but was comfortable for our stay. There was plenty of space for our group of four and we enjoyed sitting on the porch late at night as the weather cooled. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Rental was very well kept and taken care of. The location is great and very close to the main strip but far enough away to not have heavy traffic near the house. It is also literally across the street from the beach. I come down for my daughter's softball worlds series tournament. It's location was also great for that none of the fields were more than a half hour away. I would definitely rent this place again and suggest it to family and friends.

Overall, it's a great place. There were a few cleaning issues (not Stephanie's fault, her cleaner). Stephanie responded right away and sent her back over to fix the issues. You have a great view of the ocean in the bedroom on the second floor and a good view from the porch. I would definitely come back here again.

The house was great! Right across the street from the beach with easy access to the beach! Easy walk up or drive to area restaurant and shops. House was clean and great for family of 5. Access to property and communication with owners was easy. Highly recommend for your next vacation to Gulf Shores! Our first time visiting and enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location, private beach access, close to all the shops and restaurants. Check out process is very simple and easier than most. Well stocked with beach supplies and ice. Only suggestion would be a few more kitchen items might make cooking easier.

We had an amazing stay! The property owner was great at answering all of our questions. When we arrived, we weren’t sure where our walk-through to the beach was, and she let us know immediately. There was no problems with the people staying next-door, they were quiet, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only concern I had, was the traffic in front of the house. We let our girls walk the beach and to the ice cream store with no issues. We did bring our own food, the only thing I would recommend would be having a cheese grater and a broom. The dishes were sufficient, but it would have been nice to have a few more cereal bowls . There was dish soap, laundry soap, and plenty of amenities that we really didn’t have to bring them, but we did. Overall, it was a great experience and I am so glad we stayed.

This place is in a great location across the road from the beach and easy access to the beach, shopping and restaurants.
Would definitely stay there again if owner did some updates to the place.
Walls seemed to of been painted but ceiling really need a fresh coat it was extremely dirty. Pictures on the walls needed to be hung higher and more in line with the furnishings.
This is a very cute and accomodating place and i dont mind paying a good price for my stay , but i expect a place to be extremely clean for that price.
I dont know if they use a professional cleaning service or not but the place could use a deep cleaning. We had to wash the bathmats in both bathrooms as their were extremely dirty, the floors were dirty throughout the whole house, the couches could use a cleaning too.. The bedspreads needed a washing and possibly some airfreshers as the whole house had a body oder smell to it.

Duplex with a rental neighbor next door. Overall stay was good. Home needs updated furniture, linens and home repair. Owner was easy to contact and quick to reply. Nice location and close to beach. Don’t forget to bring beach chairs and beach towels since they are not provided.

Great family friendly location. Beach is located across the street. Easy fast access to the beach. The house is away from all the condos so you don’t have to fight for the “perfect” beach spot. Also, away from all the hustle and bustle from the sight seeing, but still only a few minutes away. Perfect location for family quality time!

The property is in a great location with private beach right across the street. However, it is not worth the money to stay. If I was in a hotel I would have requested my money back. The entire home needs a massive deep cleaning. The ceiling fans are black with dirt. There are fans in each room and they were so caked in dirt and other peoples hair it was nasty. All of the air conditioning vents have dirt coming out of them and the ceiling is stained. The upstairs shower has zero water pressure. The hand rail to the upstairs has what looks like chocolate hand print smears all over it. The kitchen chairs look like they will fall apart if you sit incorrectly, and one of them has a screw sticking out of the seat, my child got stabbed by it. The listing says there are beach chairs, but there are none. Also the ex-husband lives next door and there were so many people coming in and out , tons of cars, not peaceful at all.

Excellent location, older home
This unit is in a fantastic location for families that enjoy a not so busy beach but want to still be close to everything. The beach access is across a street, but it's a relatively short distance, which is fantastic for littles. We did bring a wagon, but the sand was extremely soft. Either way, still a VERY nice beach.
As far as the unit, it does have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is very much in need of repairs/ updating as is the downstairs bathroom, as well as some parts of the ceiling and walls that have holes, or separation between. There is also a slight moldy smell upon entering the unit, so anyone with allergies should be aware.
The beds were all fairly comfortable and the a/c unit worked VERY well despite the heat wave of summer months.
The previous comment about the cleaning crew was somewhat correct, the floor was covered in sand when we got there. I know it's a beach house, I know there is going to be sand tracked in, but we definitely couldn't be bare foot.
Also, the cleaning company stuck the bath towels under the sink drain and next to paint buckets, paint rollers, and some other supplies that were under the counter. For some, that may be ok, but for us it wasn't 'clean' so we did wash the towels that were provided.
I should also make note that the grill provided is older, and shared with the neighbor. Now, the next door neighbor is a home owner as opposed to a renter, so his family was over quite a bit to enjoy the beach also. They weren't disrespectful or anything, they were polite and parking was not an issue for us while we were there. It is a shared driveway, however the neighbor and his family definitely did not block anything, even with 3-4 vehicles at times.
There are stairs that lead up to the unit, as are almost all houses that close to the beach. The stars are sturdy and do look like a nice hardyplank. The porch is nice also, and has several chairs for enjoying a nice sea breeze. You can also currently view the ocean from the porch, and that was nice as opposed to having massive condos blocking the view. Everyone in the units across the way were also renting and completely a pleasure to spend the week around. Overall, the area itself is fantastic for families.
The unit definitely could use some updates, some tlc for needed repairs, and possibly a new cleaning company. Aside from those things, we did enjoy the beach and look forward to returning to the area in a year or so.

Terrible awful don’t stay here!!!!!!!!!!
So I arrive. I’m unable to access the website and can’t find my key. It wasn’t where it was suppose to be located. I try contacting my agent with no luck. Then I get in the air wasn’t working. Tried three times before getting the contact person on the phone. Theh did fix the air but it was not clean. The chair cushions outside have stains aren’t the same as in pics. The couch in the house has stains. The beds had sand in them. The comforter in the upstairs had stains. There was crumbs and nasty looking stuff in fridge. The porch railing is a safety hazard. It’s rotting and broken and several of the bars swing around. The neighbor uses almost on the underneath space and allows people to park at the end of the driveway making it difficult to back out. Even the fence that is suppose to be white is half brown/rust colored. Bathtubs were not clean. The table chair cushions look like they haven’t been cleaned in ages. Needs a lot of repair and major deep clean.

The property needs some repairs/updates. Really no usable space underneath because other side of duplex is utilizing it. Neighbor doesn't seem happy about it being rented. First interaction was him telling us to pull our two cars up closer just to make it more convenient for him to get out because he had company who parked in the middle on his side.
