Clean comfortable and so fun to stay in a historical cottage we played board games and enjoyed our family time together better than being in a hotel room

This charming, cozy house is in the perfect location to walk to theaters and restaurants in downtown. Sindy was a wonderful host, very attentive and responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

The house was in great location. It was close enough to the shopping district and the theaters, but far enough away to be private. The house was cozy and comfy. It is fully equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is on the first floor while the bedrooms are on the second floor which could be a concern for some people. We had a great time and really enjoyed the vacation house!

Girls getaway ... excellent location! We walked to the golf course for lunch and then visited the shops up and down Queen Street. The property was spotless. While I would describe it as "quaint", it had every ammenity you could want ... microwave, dishwasher, hair dryer, etc. Enjoyed our morning tea on the front porch with delicious scones and pastries purchased in town. There was plenty of hot water for four showers in the morning! Niagara Falls was a short drive away (25 minutes). Spent the afternoon there and enjoyed going through "The Tunnel" (a newer attraction at the Falls). Stopped at Two Sisters Winery (idyllic spot) on the way back to NOTL. We all had a truly wonderful time and can't wait to go back! ❤️

A lovely and charming house for a beautiful neighborhood. It's a three minute walk from Queen Street and a short bike ride from Lake Ontario, the Niagara Parkway, and wineries. It was perfectly clean and well-equipped and full of great period details. The backyard is so pretty. The only room not clearly shown in the pictures is the bathroom, which made me think it was tiny, but it is a good size and very functional. Our hostess provided great recommendations. We will definitely stay here again. A very special place.

We so enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, historic home. Everything you need for an easy stay is provided. We enjoyed relaxing on the peaceful porch. We loved walking down to the beach park. We walked to wonderful dinners in town each night and enjoyed the shops as well. The flowers all over town are gorgeous! We did take a trip over to the Botanical Gardens which was fabulous!

It was, as recounted by so many other previous guests, exactly what was described online. The historic home was cozy, comfortable, beautifully lit, centrally located and impeccably clean. Communication with Sindy was cheerful and effortless and this ideal location provided a wonderfully enjoyable Niagara-on-the-Lake getaway!

The Alexander Mckee House is in perfect condition and location. Hardwood plank floors, candle sconces, farm style wood furniture, a walk back in time. The entire neighborhood and town takes pride in their history and it shows. The house is located two blocks from everything you must see, from the Lake, to mainstreet clocktower, boutique shops, and pubs. You can take a horse drawn carriage ride around town. Town looks magical at night, candle lite still like centuries ago. Its peaceful, not hurried, serene and beautiful. The location was a quick drive to Niagra Falls. Im so glad we didn't stay near the falls that area was full of skyscrappers and carnival looking buisnesses, all too touristy, right next to a majestic beautiful water fall it doesn't fit.

This is such a cozy and welcoming house, not to mention very clean. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable long weekend stay. We also really enjoyed the historic charm of the place. The location is excellent, and Sindy is a very friendly host.

Location is outstanding, charming warm and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable. Characteristics of home from 1835 tasteful furnishings but updated without disturbing character. I really enjoyed the way the period lights were electrified! Well equipped! No better place to stay -- we left being relaxed and refreshed! We will be back!

Location location was the most fluid part of our stay!
Walk to downtown minutes away, walk to lake minutes away. House is located on a charming street & the coziness & charm of house is so lovely, relaxing & captivating you will find it hard to leave! Super Hostess Sindy was so kind & easy to deal with!

We really enjoyed our stay in this gem of a Georgian small home. The neighborhood was quiet, the host accommodating, and the house was incredibly well equipped.
The only downside was on VRBO, when they blanked out the host's phone number in her email to us, which meant we couldn't text her. That made coordinating when to meet her after going through the border difficult.
I would highly recommend this house as a great place to stay in Niagara on the Lake!

Our cottage was right around the corner from the historic downtown district. Bakeries too numerous to try! Grocery store for the essentials. And the walk down to the lake was perfect for a nice stroll. Thanks!

Wonderful location, extremely well appointed, spacious cottage. Responsive host. The only suggestion would be to make clear that the parking place is in front of the patio.

Over all stay was very good for 2 of us. Our host met us as we got there early & we had a chance to speak with her. We loved the history of the house as well as the big porch which we sat under while we had a good storm & rain & the cleanest of the Town itself. Short walk up to the town core & another short walk to the Lake area. Really can't say anything bad about our stay as we enjoyed ourselves & I would book this place again. Consider the age of the dwelling & enjoy.

This was an excellent location and the place was super clean. Sindy was friendly and responsive to all our inquiries. While we did not take advantage of it, there’s a lovely porch with rocking chairs and a shaded table and chairs out back. Please note that the bedrooms are up a steep set of stairs so one must be able-bodied and the bathroom is downstairs. Also note that tall guests need to duck when going from the laundry room entrance into the rest of the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sindy’s house. The house is a warm, beautifully restored colonial. All of our needs were met—nicely appointed kitchen, nice appliances, very nice linens in the bath and bedrooms and a perfect location to walk a block to Queen Street. We enjoyed talking to Sindy about the history of the property. She is very warm and welcoming.
