About this house rental
Two units on one property! Great for two families traveling together or couples that need more privacy! Each unit offers two bedrooms for a total of four bedrooms plus a ton of space for the family pet. Sorry, but our property is not fenced in, so you will need to pay attention to your family friend!
This property is rented in its entirety to one group only. We do not offer the property to more than one reservation at a time.
Main House offers a fully stocked kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, bathroom with claw foot tub with a hand held shower handle. The décor is not traditional at all! It offers a mix of recycled materials and eclectic designs. Each room has been designed with recycled materials, stones and rocks from our town with a twist of hippy!
The bedrooms have wrought iron bed frames, cotton sheets, and warm blankets. All of the bedrooms have large bay windows for a beautiful view of the great outdoors. The bedrooms do not have closet space but three of them offer a dresser.
Small unit offers two bedrooms and one Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is also a mini refrigerator, toaster oven, and phone line available in this unit.
We have four acres of land to relax on! There is a fantastic view of Morro Rock, a seasonal creek, and abundance of parking space. Plenty of outdoor seating for enjoying sunset, the stars, or even playing cards in the afternoon. The outdoor gazebo canopy provides added protection from the sun!
The main kitchen does provide a microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and a small seating area. We do NOT have a full size dining room and do NOT have a dining table. There is a picnic table located right out the front door of the main house.
We have Propane BBQ, Wi-Fi, limited DVD selection, plus coffee, tea, and wine for your enjoyment. We want to you to enjoy what the property has to offer! Check out nature and unplug for a while! We think you will really like it!

Secluded & quaint...just what we wanted & needed!

This property was wonderful. The view was stunning and sitting on the patio was so pleasant. A family of turkeys visited us several times. Only caveat I would make note of was there is no shower in the main house, but there is one in the smaller house. There is an outdoor shower, which was a fun experience. This wasn’t a problem for our group, but could see that being an issue for some. We would stay here again for sure.

This place was beautiful and funky with lots of space to spread out and a beautiful view. Sheila was wonderful to work with very attentive and answered my weird questions with grace that really helped my family out. The beds were comfortable. Two notes for people, it is up a very bumpy dirt road. We had a big 4 wheel drive vehicle i can't imagine if it were snowy or wet how much more difficult it would be. And the other note, this is in nature so bugs were a typical sight in and out of the buildings. This may be a no brainer to some but for me it wasn't and I have a deeply afraid kiddo.

We enjoyed our stay at this place! So many windows to let in the light and wonderful view. Litle details in the decor of the main house made it interesting. Great location so close to the park, yet kept a secluded feeling.

We loved our stay. Peaceful and comfortable. The outdoor patio was a great place to relax in the evenings as the weather cooled down. Would return for the outdoor shower alone!

We all loved the house and "attitude" of the house. Three of us watched the night sky for about 2 hours. We would recommend this house to close friends

Staying at Shelia's place was a dream! The houses provide incredible views, a very eclectic and homey feel, and so close to both the Park and Three Rivers. It's thoughtfully set up to make you feel you're still part of the nature around you. We spent a lot of time outside just hanging out and the outdoor shower was incredible! Would love to stay there again.

Lovely place to stay. We had no trouble finding the place with directions we were given. I would highly recommend staying here. Very easy to get to the National parks near by. The only disappointment was I didn’t see a bear, but did see deer walking round the property

We didn't realize it can get over 100F in Three Rivers in the summer but thank goodness they have AC so we could enjoy our stay and it cools down at night pretty significantly.
Sequoia National Park is 10-20F cooler so it worked out for us during the day but something to consider planning your day. We saw deers and quails etc in the morning and enjoyed BBQing at night under the stars and hanging lights. Setting was beautiful.
We noticed the strong Clorox smell when we entered but that's because they sanitized the place and it went away by the time we went to bed. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Thank you!

There are two small buildings on the property. One of the buildings had a very unpleasant odor - something between chlorine and toilet smell. There was incredible amount of dust in the bedroom next to the bed. In the main building the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. It is greatly located especially for people who are adventurous - there is a winding dirt road that leads to the property. It was OK in summer but I can hardly imaging navigating it without a 4WD when it rains. There is an amazing beautiful view and wild birds and deer around but when it is 99F it is difficult even with all AC units on. Overall one has to be prepared to close their eyes on all those things and then one can enjoy Sequoia trip to its fullest

This house(s) is so awesome and unique. We had 6 in our party and it was perfect. Deer walk right up, so quiet and convenient. I would Highly recommend this place!

whimsical place with great privacy and nice views
We did a tour of national parks for my daughters senior trip. Sequoia being our last stop. My daughter loved the one "house" with the unique style. It was almost tailor made for her. The location is hidden away and perfect for quiet privacy with very nice view of the valley. The kitchen was equipped nicely, which was important to us. All in all a great little spot. I could have some "wishes" in regards to the place but would definitely stay again without reservation.

Remote mountain delight
Had a wonderful stay at Spirit Camp. Beds were comfy, the view was amazing, and the bath tub was so fun!

Unexpected Eclectic stay-
We rented the property for a mother daughter weekend getaway.
The property had everything we needed to feel at home.
No service at all the entire time which was completely necessary for us to really bond.
Loved it!

This is a lovely, quirky property - every room has surprises. Front and back house = 4 bedrooms, plenty of room for our group. We were there in November and had no issues with it being too cold to eat at the picnic table outside. It really felt like the perfect amount of space! Three Rivers is the perfect town to stay for a visit to Sequoia, especially if you want to see General Sherman, and this property was very close to the park entrance. Things we didn't think about: Weather was lovely in Three Rivers but as you enter the park you go up into the mountains 6000+ feet and it was snowy up there! The property is accessed via a winding road that was a bit hard to navigate the first time in the dark, but just follow the directions and you'll get there :)We enjoyed this space immensely, a lovely vibe and a nice midpoint for us coming from LA to meet a friend coming from SF.

If you like unique houses with a great view, this is the house for you! It is actually 2 small houses, so it worked great for my family because I have teenagers. We loved the outdoor shower equipped with a clothes line. The sunset and stars were a amazing.

Spirit Camp
Very smooth process in renting and property met our needs and was quite comfortably. Would do it again. Is yurt available?

Magical view
This property was perfect for us! We were traveling with our two babies and my parents so the 2 homes was ideal. Super comfortable and would extended our stay if the property wasnt already booked. The only negative was there.was an abnormal amount of wasps throughout the day so it was tough to eat outside ( there is no ther central eating area other than the picnic tables outside)...but other than that...gorgeous!

Fun place.
Neat place for double family trip. WiFi did not work. No cell service- but we kinda needed a little if that. 1-1.5 hours to most sequoia stuff.

Great location!
We had a really great time at this property a couple weekends ago! The two cabins offered plenty of space for our group of 10 to hang out and relax. We made chili and barbecued and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed. Highlight of the property might be the spacious and sort of undersold yurt which included an extra futon, a king sized bed, and a big table perfect for hanging out and playing board games (which is just what we did). The location is also only a short drive to the park, and to the local grocery store. Only complaints are that the lights in one of the bathrooms were out during our stay, but that is a pretty minor and easily rectified complaint.
We would definitely rent this property again in the future!

unfortunate
I have rented with VRBO for almost all of my travel....unfortunately not a good review for this property- the house was dirty cob webs in the window sills, the air conditioner has never been cleaned and the filters never changed, the coffee maker had left over coffee grounds with mold growing in it. We had been there for 1 night the second night no hot water for the shower and the stove would not work- call to property mgr and she stated that someone had mentioned 3 hrs prior that they smelled gas- so apparently no one came to check it out and correct the problem, therefore could not cook on the stove that night - mgr offered to move to another property- we declined as it was getting late and our other party was not back yet- so we left the next morning. Mentioned to the mgr that the house was not clean and the above mentioned- hopefully they have cprrected the problems too bad it was my first experience with VRBO that was not good.

Great location
The 2 houses provided plenty of space for our group. The house was a convienient distance from the sequoia park entrance and the stores and restaurants in three rivers. We really enjoyed our time at this house.
