We stayed here during a horse show and the property is well stocked to have a comfortable stay. There is a dedicated area in the yard where you can enjoy a campfire, outdoor dining or sitting by the pond. The owner was extremely accommodating after we mentioned the outdoor light outside our window was on all night. She said they kept it on for the guests who need to go out at night and then provided a covering over the outside of the window which was a perfect solution. Would def stay here again.

A beautiful spot on a small pond. The bathrooms and bunkbed rooms do not have alot of space. Other than that a very comfortable place. The host is super friendly. The price is very much on target.
We would recommend this Clear Pond Gettaway.

Check in was ok, we brought 2 dogs disclosure prior to our trip with owner. We understood terms and conditions and cost per night. Owner stated in email I’ll only charge you for one dog. We are fur friendly and own a dog. We are n agreement.
Upon check in the price was doubled and she mentions payment by Venmo or cash. That was not mentioned prior to stay.
Day 1 we leave for our baseball tournament. Get to the field 20 minutes there owner calls and states my dogs are out of control and barking. I ask if neighbors dogs are barking she claims no. I said my dogs bark when they hear another dog. She says I have to get my dogs now because the other tenants are trying to sleep they were up for a wedding.
I mentioned my dogs would stop if other dogs stop barking. She requested I pick up my dogs immediately. I’m 45 minutes away I get to the house and my dogs are not even winning or barking. I ask are you sure it was neighbors dogs the barking. She a states well maybe. I get my dogs after many comments about other tenants how loud they were @ 3am in the driveway. We didn’t appreciate it but we didn’t complain.
Now owner says I’ll watch your dogs. We said no we will take care of them.
She tried to put everything back to normal but it was too late. Already missed my kids ball game that they won.
Night 2 all tenants were up @ 3am which is why my dogs were up. Washer and dryer running all night above us. Not a great place we felt unwanted we left a day early call and TX Deb no answer.

We were expecting more out in the woods, however once on the other side of the fence facing the pond you forgot you were part of a neighborhood. The master bed although comfortable was a challenge getting into. So I lived 2 fairy tales Snow White and the one dwarf, The entrance was stepping down into the cottage I felt (not a complaint, explaining the atmosphere) like Snow White. And the very tall bed made me think AH The Princess and the Pea. It is 10/15 minutes from everything I liked that.

We came with our dog and our daughter, the apartment was beautifully decorated, the grounds looked like a part with a beautiful pond/lake. My dog and my daughter enjoyed the water. There were kayaks and small boats to go out onto the water. The owners and their dog were lovely, met every need, very responsive and our pup loved playing with their pup!! We will be back, so welcoming, so fun, an amazing place to detune after horse showing.

This was my family’s first time to Plymouth, and our stay at Clear Pond was so nice! The place was clean and the hostess Debbie was great! We would love to come back again and stay here soon!

Very pleasant and lovely setting.

We were not expecting to have basement lodgings and it was a bit damp and musty. Our hostess did everything she could to improve the situation even offering to switch accommodations with another guest. It was rainy which didn't help. I would suggest replacing carpets. Our stay was fine but disappointing in that the pond had a sign no swimming due to high bacteria level.. the site is beautiful and a great place for kids. Very pretty lake and view . Super nice hostess. Ellen

The backyard was absolutely awesome with gorgeous views of the pond. There were kayaks and a paddle boat available to use. There was a path through the woods that led to a reclaimed cranberry bog. Beautiful walk. The yard was fully fenced in making it perfect for my dog and I. The Apartment was clean And comfortable. It was very well stocked and had Pretty much everything you would need. The owner was very friendly and Accommodating. My dog and I had a wonderful Stay and would certainly choose this location again!

baby shower weekend
My daughter and grandson stayed the weekend, it was supposed to be my family, however covid kept us in SC. So rather than lose the money, my daughter and grandson took a mini vacation. She told me the place was beautiful, she said she took my grandson out for a hike, and he slept like a log, while she relaxed and read. I wish we could have been there, but my son and daughter in law tested positive 3 days before, and my husband and I on the friday we were to arrive. since we couldn't reschedule and I was going to lose the money, I had my daughter enjoy some quiet with her little boy. another time.

Thanksgiving Getaway
We had an enjoyable time and liked the apartment set up of the space. The bathroom was oddly configured with the toilet and sink in one room and the shower in a separate room next to it. The shower could be problematic for taller people (fortunately we are not, so it was fine). We loved the access to the trail for walking our dog. The beach is lovely as well.

Quiet off season with beautiful view and nature walk
Lovely views of pond with a long yard down to the shore, fantastic walk to a nature conservancy bog with blackbirds singing merrily. Fully equipped kitchen was very nice too!

The “Inn” apartment is a finished daylight basement in a residential neighborhood with two small bedrooms (total ~200 sf) one with a queen bed with access just on one side and the other with a set of bunk beds. The 17 by 21 ft living room has another sofa bed. Ceilings are 7’9” high. The toilet closet and shower closet (each 24 sf) are entered as a step up off the living room and down the hall away from the master bedroom. The shower ceiling is low—anyone taller than 6’1” will have a hard time fitting into it. There are a total of five windows four feet above the floor that look up to the shrubs/driveway outside. The kitchen had a toaster, microwave, small oven/range, fridge, and coffee maker. Cookware included just frying pan with a loose handle and a few miscellaneous pots and pans made it tough for cooking. No sponge or scrubby to do dishes (we bought some and left them). No foil or saran wrap was available and salt and pepper were basically the only spices in the cupboard.
The apartment was pretty quiet at night during our early March stay, but we could hear someone crossing the floor above us occasionally and we hoped that our TV was not too loud. The living room has an electric fireplace that gave off a pleasant glow but no heat. The spacious backyard adjacent to trail and pond had plenty of seats and would be an enjoyable place to hang out in warmer weather. Internet connection was strong.
Overall, we felt that this was pretty expensive (about $170/night when all fees included) for the quality of the space. It was a bit worn, was clean but not immaculate, and we hadn’t expected to be below grade. We never met the owner but access to the space was easy and communication was clear.

Great getaway
After spending so much time at home over these past months, this property was perfect. The space was comfortable and the location right on a nature path was excellent! We hope to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pond and all the activities of owner offers

Very nice and quiet
My dogs loved the water and walking around the bog/trail. We saw many birds, turkeys, deer ... less than 5 minutes to town, bike trail and state park.

Ok
The check in process was a breeze and Debbie was willing to work with our early check in. However, vrbo had it listed as a 3 bedroom and when we arrived it was only 2. It made our stay difficult because I have a 1y and 2y and they need their space. We couldn’t put them in the spare bedroom in the living room because the people above us was sooooo loud. Debbie did have a highchair for us which was convenient but I wouldn’t recommend this inn to a family with young kids. Maybe 10y+. The pond was nice and we enjoyed walking the path. My 2y thought we were going on a bear hunt haha!! The parking spot is in front of the house which was perfect because we needed a lot of room getting the kids in and out. The shower is small and we had do a co shower because they kept slipping in the shower. I had a mini heart attack every time they fell I just held them and gave them a shower. Definitely a place for a couple.

We chose the property because of its location to the Plymouth sites. Beautiful backyard with fire pits, beach, canoes, and kayaks. This is the ideal spot for a family or a weekend getaway.

Great location
My husband and I booked the “Inn” for the weekend. Whatever preconceived notion you have of what an Inn looks like and is, this is not it (at least it wasn’t for me). In actuality, this is a house, separated into 4 different living spaces each with their own entrance. We did have an issue with checking in where another guest who arrived prior to us actually checked in to the wrong entrance which led us to then go to the wrong suite. We had to contact the host to intervene on our behalf to correct the mixup which took a few hours. Luckily, we decided last minute not to bring our children so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience and we were able to roll with it, but it could have been a major disaster. Especially if the other couple decided not to leave the (wrong) room they checked into (we booked the inn - a 2 bedroom with bunk beds and a kitchen; and the suite only had one bed, a bathroom and refrigerator). The check in process could be made a lot easier and less confusing by utilizing a smart lock system instead of leaving doors open with keys on the table inside. That being said, we did have a wonderful stay here. It was a quiet, quaint neighborhood on a beautiful picturesque pond. There was plenty of space for the multiple residents to social distance (in fact we only saw people in passing). We relaxed by the water, enjoyed a bit of kayaking and went to nearby Plymouth for the day.

This property was clean and comfortable, although a little smaller than I anticipated. The listing says it's a three bedroom, but the description mentions that it is two bedrooms with a private sitting room, But it is a true 2-bedroom, and the third sleeping area is also the common sitting room, as well the location of the one bathroom in the space. The internet worked great for three college students taking on-line classes simultaneously. The outside space is truly the gem here - with the lovely sandy beach access to the clear pond and a beautiful walking trail attached to the property. The kayaks were a welcome addition (we used them several times) and the firepits were great. The seating areas outside all comfortable and lovingly maintained. It was fabulous to be able to bring our dog, who also enjoyed the outside area.A few minor things needed to be tweaked (stove, grill, a blown fuse), but Deb was very responsive and very nice. We had everything we needed. I would say this would be best for a couple with a few young kids - it was tight for five adults.. But overall, this was a nice place and we had a very, very relaxing week.

Relaxing, quiet getaway
Had a great time! The weather was perfect and so we spent almost all our waking time outside in the backyard or visiting nearby towns, parks and beaches. It was a little cramped inside for 4 adults, but we were comfortable and each had our own space. The backyard and pond are great, and we enjoyed building a fire almost every night.

Absolutely beautiful view and location
Such a peaceful and serene view. Super quite and relaxing place to get away! Super close to lots of attractions for sightseeing. Debra was so helpful and welcoming. We would stay here again on our next vacation!

Perfectish
We needed a private getaway where our family could continue to quarantine together and cook/eat in, but wanted water access for swimming and fishing. This house was perfect for that purpose, the lake was so peaceful we could easily forget we were in a relatively thickly settled neighborhood, and we spent most of our time on the little sandy beach.
In that way, we were very happy with our fundemic vacation. However, the bed my husband and I had was one of the worst I have ever slept on and I woke up in pain every morning, and we felt the listing was slightly deceiving-by-omission. I assumed we would have a full stock of things like kitchen and bathroom paper, which we did not (the house rules presented at checkin informed us we would have to provide our own once the starter supply ran out, on the second day of our week). There is a dishwasher in the photos but it did not work. A phone call the day before we arrived moved us to the slightly larger (?) unit because our host felt we would be more comfortable, which was thoughtful, but also clearly tried to manage expectations by calling the "inn" (a chopped - up split level single family home) a place for "glamping." There is almost nothing listed in amenities, so we didn't know if we would need to provide towels/linens, if there was a coffeemaker, if laundry was available, etc.
In short, the place met our requirements of water access and privacy, but when a host's desire to minimize costs shows through, it makes a place feel less welcoming and a vacation is made less relaxing by needing to attend to things one reasonably expects to be taken care of by hosts/owners.

Idyllic spot for a family getaway
Having been home in pandemic-mode since mid-March, we wanted a change of scenery with our 6- and 8-year-old boys, where we could relax, swim/boat, walk, and breathe. This property was exactly as pictured, and was just the spot we needed, with a large yard with plenty of seating and grills, a walk down to the pond with kayaks and canoes for the taking, and a 0.5-mile walking path around the cranberry bogs, etc. Though only an hour away from our home, it felt a wonderful world away. The property was clean, and we felt very safe there during the Covid crisis, with ample room to spread out from guests staying in the other space on-site.
We were a little surprised upon arrival to find that we were in a different "apartment" at the Inn than we'd originally thought we'd committed to, with the second bedroom sporting a queen-sized bed rather than bunk beds for our boys (who refuse to share a bed), so we can't comment on the exact apartment listed here (downstairs from us, with a separate entrance). However, the owner was very responsive; when we let her know the problem, she quickly offered us a roll-away or air mattress, and all was resolved. She was similarly quick to answer on other needs.
Note that though listed as a fully-equipped kitchen, it was short on some basics that might sometimes be supplied (salt/pepper, foil, plastic containers), so we picked up our own at the grocery store. We figured that most people eat out, though we were eating-in 3 meals a day. A few things in the apartment were in need of some minor maintenance, but the overall space and grounds, with room to spread out with our books and legos, go splashing and kayaking on the pond, and spot the turtles and herons on the nature trail, made it well worth it. We hope to visit again.

Dogs
We had to get out of our house during quarantine for two days because of insulation. We have three golden retrievers so it was hard to figure out what to do. We were so lucky to come cross Debra's property because not only did she accept dogs, she was very sweet to them when we checked in. She told us all about the area. The house is perfect, with a big fenced in yard, and water right up front. Thank you Deb for an awesome stay! We plan on renting the whole house with our family we loved it so much!
