Such a relaxing, comfortable home. My children and I so needed this time away from the busy life. Thoroughly enjoyed our time, paddle boarding, kayaking, campfires, kan jam, cards, walks on the beach, etc. The house is so clean and comfortable and has all we need. Looking forward to going back.

Have been taking my 3 grandchildren here for the past 8 years. They love it! From searching for sea life at low tide, swimming on incoming tides, walking the beach down past the lighthouse and just relaxing on the beach. Every year I ask if they would like to try somewhere else and they say NO! This has become our tradition. Already reserved for next year.

This is truly an old-school beach house stay—the home is comfortable, well-kept-up and has so many wonderful touches that lend a family feel (particularly the ship log and spotting scope set up). Sunrise and sunset are both visible from the ample deck, and the beach access is incredible. Highly recommend.

We've been coming to Kristie's place for many years now and we'll be coming back next year (and the year after that and the year after that...). The beach, the views, the house are all perfect and we always can't wait to get back.

Another wonderful time together as a family. Enjoyed the beach, water, birds, sealife, paddleboarding, kayaking, spikeball, walking the beach. Beautiful home, well taken care of with many improvements. This was our ninth year and it feels like home, so warm and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.

This architectural gem of a beach house is not the biggest, but it has the best cozy living room with a great view. The weather was a little cool and wet, so we didn’t get to spend much time on the excellent beach. Maybe next time! The furnace is a little temperamental, but there are sufficient space heaters to make up for it if needed.

Beautiful beach, very clean & well appointed cabin. Kids loved playing in sand, s’mores in the fire pit, walks to lighthouse & Hansgrill, watching interesting shipping traffic, fishing off beach & beautiful sunsets. Thank you!

The setting is beautiful and the house is well furnished. The only negative was the fact the furnace did not work after the first night of arrival. There were two space heaters that could warm the main room by late afternoon. We alerted the owner to the situation. Unfortunately, it was not resolved during our four day stay, therefore, I could not give our stay a 5 star overall rating. Aside from that, everything was great.

So relaxing to sit in the living room and enjoy the scenery, even in unsettled Spring weather!

Lots of character and charm and supreme location.

Location!!!! Stay in and watch the ever-changing shore, or walk a few yards from your sofa to the sand. Sunny or stormy, this place is perfect.

We've lost count of how many times we've stayed at the Beach Beal House. Kristie is always great with communication. The views and the beach just can't be beat. We'll be back next year (and the next and the next...).

Beautiful beach with so much fun boat activity to watch. Fun to walk to lighthouse to fish or Hansgrill for dinner. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us.

This is the 7th year I have brought my grandchildren to Beals Beach House. They never get tired of walking the beach and looking for new discoveries at low tide. Sunrises, sunsets, resident eagles, the light house. Long walks or just playing on the beach all day. True paradise!

Another wonderful time! This house is so clean and comfortable. Kayaking, paddle boarding, walking the beach, watching the porpoise, seals, eagles, and we even had a whale pass by in June. Love it! Can't wait to go back.

This was our 4th year to stay in the Beal Beach Cabin, so we obviously LOVE it. The location with direct, no bank beach access can't be beat. The indoor space is very accomodating, with a great kitchen equipped with everything you might need, including a waffle iron and crock pot!
The beds are very comfortable (although because we were 6 adults, we wish that the bunk beds were separated into two single beds, as there is always drama about who sleeps there). There is always lots of Eagle action, and lots of big ships going by. We always enjoy the nightly parade of cruise ships (at least two every night). We have already booked our stay for next year. Kristie has always been a great, responsive host. There IS construction going on next door which starts pretty early, but that should be finished soon. All said, a stay at Beal's won't disappoint.

This was our second stay at this house, and it was as special as we remembered. Very comfortable and such a great beachfront location. Nice walk to the lighthouse. Fully stocked kitchen. Just note that the beach-facing bedroom gets pretty bright early in the morning when the sun comes up in the summer…

We had a great time at Hansville and the surrounding small towns. Such a good quiet, relaxing time. Just what we needed!

Everything you need, nothing you don’t. This is a simple, classic mid century cabin built to maximize family time and the fantastic vistas. The bedroom are adequate, not fancy—but we’re here to spend time together and enjoy the outdoors, this shouldn’t matter. We love the partially covered deck, the no-bank beach, and the access to four nearby parks. The owner is wonderful, gracious, practical, and prompt. We are planning our fourth annual vacation to this special spot.

This was our second stay at the Beal Beach house. We had such a good time and love this place! It sits right on the beach with beautiful views of Whidbey island. The lighthouse is just a short walk down the beach. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Great place to take the grandkids. After the first year, they kept asking to come back. Here we are on year 6.

Terrible! (Okay just kidding)
Okay, I'm just selfishly trying to scare people away from renting the Beal Beach House because we want it all to ourselves. We've lost count of how many summers (and one New Years) we have stayed here and we'll be back next summer. We absolutely love it. We always feel like it's soothing balm to our souls to stay here. The beach is fantastic, the views of the water/mountains/passing ships is about as good as it gets, from either inside or outside of the house. Lots of hiking and biking options nearby. The owner, Kristie, is the best VRBO owner ever! So yeah, don't come here cuz we like to pretend it's all ours. :)

Fabulous beal house
Exactly as advertised--or even better. Unbelievable location right on beach (20 ft walk across grass to get to the water),. spacious deck , great fire pit. so well stocked with utensils and spices etc. Good luck getting a reservation this spot goes quickly with lots of repeat clients. I made another reservation as soon as I returned home. Krisit is a great communicator and prompt with questions.

Perfect
This was the perfect place for our getaway. The house is a mid-century beauty and is well stocked with books, games, kitchen supplies, and everything else you need. The beach is great and the neighbors’ gardens a nice bonus. The local cafe and bakery are good, and fine dining is not too far away if you’re looking for something different. We’ll be back for sure!

Great family get-away
Grandkids loved watching ship traffic thru the telescope. Floor plan was perfect for us 4 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the windows with expansive beach and water view. Everyone wants to come back; our stay was just too short!

Perfect waterfront spot for some R&R
This home is at a great location in Hannsville, right on the water -- maybe a 45 second walk from the home to the beach in front. This is nice beach walking for the Puget Sound area -- easy to go miles to the west and a half mile east will take one to Point NoPoint lighthouse.
The home is compact, but worked well for the 2 of us. We did have some issues with the furnace in that it seemed to stop working several times and required a reset of some type. We were able to turn the thermostat off, then flip the breaker for the furnace to off, then turn it back on and the thermostat back on which seemed to reset things and it would work again.
The home was reasonably well stocked with all sorts of kitchenware and we were able to make all our meals easily .
We would definitely try to go back here if we decided to visit this area again!
