Needed a place to stay rotating at UAMS this was perfect clean comfortable spot

We had a great experience staying in this home. Our family of 4 had more than enough room. The house was clean and cute. It’s just moments away from shopping. Our family has young kids so we were needing a family friendly location and nearby activities. The grocery store is right around the corner and the zoo is just down the street. The house is just a short drive from restaurants, book stores, movie theaters and shopping centers. We’re from a small farm town so being so close to big city shopping experiences was really fun. The neighborhood is clean and quiet and we felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again someday.

We loved the place! We had a pleasant walk to Hill Station and had a yummy dinner in the beautiful outdoor seating area. The locale is quaint and so lovely and inviting… The house itself has everything you need. The hosts were kind, and were quick to answer every question. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Cute duplex, location to shops and eats is PERFECT for walking. Small leak around tube (we think). 2 security lights out by door-1 was working and gave plenty of light. Parking a little tricky due to 2 cars from guests in adjacent unit. Overall great place to stay.

Adorable neighborhood
We loved the location and walkability to shops and restaurants. We ate a bunch of great places in Hillcrest and enjoyed the live music on their 1st Thursday event. We parked on Walnut Street, since the driveway was a bit steep and narrow. We just left it to the other side of the duplex. Beds were clean and comfy and the shower was nice and toasty. Home and furnishings are in need a few minor repairs/update but over in good shape. We much prefer a home to a hotel when we travel and this one checked all our boxes. Would stay there again if we came to the area.

Had a great getaway to LR when we stayed at this place in the Hillcrest area. It was less than a half mile walk through tree-lined streets filled with lovely homes to get to a coffee shop, variety of restaurants, grocery store, farmer's market, city-owned park, local shops, etc. We were comfy in the cozy home with great a.c., wi-fi, ipdated shower/tub, 3 cable equpped t.v.s, with room in the main living space to sit & vist. You could park & not leave the neighborhood & still have a fine get-away but are a short drive from the zoo, rivermarket district, malls, museums, & everything else the city has to offer. Bring a chair if you want to sit outside in the small shaded area just outside the back door. There were plenty of friendly people out walking dogs & enjoying this safe neighborhood waving hello when we were there over Memorial Day weekend, 2021. The only downside my adult sons saw were no 3-pronged outlets in the bedrooms so they could more easily avoid interacting with family! Highly recommend & we will be returning to park (squeezed in the driveway) & walk everywhere we wanna go.

This was a great property and location. It’s an older home so with that there are some inherent differences to a fresh/new place.
Literally couldn’t have been better suited for us as far as what we needed while in town.

This property was in a wonderful location—close to nearly everything! It suited me and my husband just fine. It wasn’t sparkling clean or stylish...but I was definitely comfortable staying there. The garage was a big perk for us!

We have all that we needed in the house my first experience and it was great. Thanks for a great idea for travelers.

Great location
The location was close and convenient to UAMS while my father was in the hospital. It was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Chris was very helpful with all of my questions. A grocery store is very close for convenience of shopping if you want to cook meals. I would definitely stay here again!

Helpful in a time of Need
We were very fortunate to be able to stay here. Our daughter had a major surgery at AR Children's Hospital; we were 5 hours from home for 5 days. Chris was very helpful and flexible. The facility was accommodating and comfortable for our large family.
After we left town I was afraid I'd left something behind, Chris went out of his way to check for me. If we stay in Little Rock again this will be our first choice.

Great location for a long weekend
This place was in a great location for our stay in Little Rock. Hillcrest is a wonderful neighborhood to walk and experience the local fare in --- great shops, a couple of nice restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We were within a five minute walk of all of these things. Was also great to have off-street parking as well as a garage with opener that was nice. The two-bedroom duplex was ample room for us. Chris was very accommodating in allowing us early access to our rental. Everything seem to work well (especially the A/C). As we have family in the area, we'll certainly be looking to rent again on future visits.

Perfect for family
We rented both apartments, this was a Very nice space to share with family, much better than several hotel rooms.
Owner is very helpful and easy to work with.
This was my 4th stay at the apartments and will stay again.
4.8
Very pleasant and convenient
This was our second stay in this Hillcrest duplex. It's simple but has most everything you will need for a few days. Air conditioning works well. The kitchen could be a bit better stocked, but otherwise, it's a good choice if you want to be able to walk to many of Hillcrest's restaurants and the grocery store.

Great place to stay in Hillcrest!
We rented both sides of the duplex for my family of 4 and my parents to stay for spring break near my brother's family. They were set up nicely - comfortable beds, nice kitchen, etc. This location is so convenient, both to some cute shopping areas, and easy to get to downtown attractions.
4.8
Great stay
Ditto to other review as both sides of this duplex rented for stay: very pleased with this duplex. The property is located centrally in town so it’s easy to travel to any part of town quickly. Lots of eating options and shopping areas nearby. Would recommend this rental.

Clean, quiet, nice neighborhood
Overall my stay was great. Perfect location, central to everything. Parking was a little tricky, especially with an SUV, but other than that it was perfect.
4.8
We loved it
This is a very comfortable, nicely decorated home in a great neighborhood. The only issue we had was a burned out bulb over the back door, which Chris fixed the same day we reported it. I can't think of anything that would have made our first experience with VRBO any better. We'll definitely be using them again, and if it's in the Little Rock area we'll be specifically looking for one of Chris's properties.

Walkability to shops and restaurants great!
Great location. Nice stay.

A nice stay in a nice neighborhood
We were in town for a TKD tournament, and this was a perfect place to stay after a day of constant people, it was nice to come back to a nice, quiet neighborhood and enjoy the solitude. A fraction of the cost of a hotel, and more than what you need. Will definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this duplex. It is very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The instructions provided to us before our stay were clear and all communication with the owner was answered promptly. The available garage parking was a nice convenience as well. The driveway is a bit steep, but we had no trouble backing out onto Lee Street. There are also plenty of restaurants within a couple miles. Would happily stay here again if in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Good location, good rate...good deal.
My family and I just spent three nights here. We have a toddler and an infant and wanted a two bedroom place comfortable for my children rather than a one room hotel. Overall we were very happy with our stay here. The kitchen was nice with almost everything you could need to cook except for a large skillet or a large pot. Theres a medium sized skillet and smaller ones and also smaller pots. There's cutting knives, a lot of cooking utensils, silverware, pot holders. Two cookie sheets, colander, etc. Plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, coffee cups and a 12 cup coffee maker. Ice maker in the freezer doesn't work but there's two ice trays in the freezer. The large sink and faucet in the kitchen is very nice. The dishwasher detergent compartment door wouldn't latch closed but the dishes washed fine. The central air worked very nice. The place is older so there are not any 3 prong outlets. Because of this there's a lot of exposed extension cords and power strips in the living room and bedrooms. Beware of this if you have a crawler or toddlers. We had to use one of the kitchen chairs to block my son's access to the one in the living room, which worked fine for us. Theres just a lot of cables and wires exposed that are easily accessable to small children. The washer and dryer was nice, the bathroom had plenty of towels, at least 6. Beds were comfortable, a little bouncy but comfortable for us. The phone line was kind of annoying, there's a lot of junk phone calls that come in all day. The place is not a good option for anyone that's a fall risk. There are a lot of steps in the front and the back to get inside. There's also trip hazards into the kitchen from the living room and the hallway into the bathroom. The floor is higher so you have to step up slightly when you enter. This wasn't an issue for us but is definitely something to consider. The view down the streets from the living room windows and front door was nice. My kids enjoyed watching the cars and people going by. The garage was a nice bonus although we didnt personally use it. Overall it was a great place for the location and rate. We'd stay there again.

Nice little place, 3-guys traveling for business in Little Rock. Easy 25-minute drive to our destination, comfortable house and amenities, plus the garage was a nice bonus to park inside.
