The home was central. Comfortable beds and clean linens. Parking was accessible. The house as a whole could use some updating - needs new flooring and a fresh coat of paint. Some chairs around the table would have been nice.

The price was right for this quaint property. It was a great location and my family enjoyed the stay.

My plan was to have several people stay with me. However, they decided to stay home. I had a relaxing time to myself in a comfy room. No bells and whistles but but was nice and view was good.

Property , room was clean . Location was convenient. Nice ocean view and close to food and drinks .

You can show that you care by maintaining the garden beds and flower pots. They were all full of weeds and broken down. The walls in the room need painting. The ceiling fan and blinds were very dusty. There was mold on the floor in the bathroom. There was a single rocking chair to sit on. Additional chairs and perhaps a book shelf with books and games wold be a nice touch.

The space was cleaned all but the place needs quite a bit of maintenance. The walls were very dirty, the floors needed repairs, and there was some noticeable mold in the bathroom. Also, there was a stage odor in the room that would get worse if we turned the air conditioner above 68 degrees.

Not the cleanest place I've stayed but the location was perfect. Just around the corner from beach access and across the street from three great restaurants. I would stay here again.

Cable went out at 8pm could not find towels a few cobwebs on the ceiling. Other then that everything was great. Nice location. Wanted to check in early, and checkout late but that was a no go.

Good location for walking to town, noisy highway though. Simple, clean enough, dog friendly…
DOWNSIDE: on our third night management shut off the Tesla charger we were plugged into and left a nasty note saying non guests using chargers were guilty of theft!!! I did not have enough charge to get to a super charger and had to limp to another town for a slow charge and wait all day! They never Asked our make, model or license # so I don’t k ow how they would have known if our car belonged to guests or not, but we were parked and charging for two prior nights, with plenty of coming and going from the hotel during the day. There was no staff available to ask about the situation either. DO NOT STAY!!!!

Nice comfortable room with a view. Close to restaurants and nice hikes along the coast.
Also booked because they offer chargers which is extremely convenient especially along the coast.

Beds are very cozy. We stayed in Tidewater, all the way at the end of the walkway, with our dog. It was very quiet in that room. I could have given this a 5, but there are some maintenance issues. Overgrown plants in the walkway. Driveway has potholes. Loose boards on the walkway. A few bugs in the room. Need dining chairs for the table. Although, We would definitely recommend this cozy retreat.

This was a very open, clean, and cozy room in a quaint motel. The location was perfect! It's within walking distance of all of the shops and two ways to the beach. Communication with staff was easy. Enjoy your stay in Yachats.

Definitely shabby, but great value and location
The place is worn down, but you get what you pay for. The floors were not very clean (our socks were dirty within minutes), there were a few cobwebs, lots of dust, and the hair dryer was bizarrely greasy and covered with dog hair, BUT the most important things were clean: bathroom, microwave, fridge, and sheets (stained/holey, but clean). Also they provided lots of coffee (K-cups), creamer, sugar, and mugs.
Location is great, easy walking to SO many shops and restaurants. It's basically right where the sidewalk ends - in the past we've stayed just a bit further south and without a sidewalk, it felt unsafe walking from there. The beach is close but you have to walk/drive a bit to access it. Views are very nice.
It's an end unit that only shares one wall with another room - no one above, below, behind. So it was very quiet and road noise was minimal. Possibly the quietest hotel/motel room I've ever been in.
My two major complaints:
-it was COLD. No matter what we set the thermostat to, it was VERY chilly. No air/warmth came out of the wall units and the unit near the ceiling blew cool air. We were there the first few days of April and temps got down to the mid-30s overnight and we slept in our coats. I couldn't find an office/manager on site to contact, or a local # to call, so I emailed VRBO (since it was late.) I never got a response, but the second day was warmer - not sure if VRBO got it fixed or it was because it was warmer outside. It was not as cold as that first night after that, but still colder inside than outside, and we still slept in sweatshirts. If the room wasn't so cheap I'd be more upset about this, but we survived.
- second, BUGS. A few spiders, which is to be expected in Oregon, but also DOZENS of pillbugs. At first I left them alone but they wound up on the beds so I started killing them; I killed at least 20 and counted at least 10 more when I was packing up to check out. Not the grossest of bugs, but it was still really weird.
Overall, I'm not sure I'd stay here again during colder weather, but the location was really nice, so I'd consider it in warmer months. While I like the ease of booking and contactless check-in/check-out through VRBO, it stinks not having someone on site to handle unexpected issues.

Delightful and Comfortable Stay
Not only is this spot comfy and warm inside, during the wet fall weather, it is also so conveniently linked to the best eateries in town. All in walking distance. Nights were quiet thanks to good insulation. Good price. We will be back.

Nice place to stay
Room was homey, we like that. One more chair in the room so two could sit at the table would have made it better.

Great View/Location
In spite of being right above the highway, the room was remarkably quiet. This unit is at the end of the building and felt very private. Staff was accommodating and very kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Oh, and Laundry! Free! Yay!

Great location
The best part of this rental is the location. Yachats is a wonderful town, and this is located across from Yachats beach and a 2 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants of Yachats. It's a short walk to ocean views, and because it is just a few feet from highway 101, easy to access. Being near the highway has it's drawbacks of course (noise, smells, etc). The room itself was a good size, it was definitely in need of some repairs (broken floor boards, and near the corner the floors bowed significantly). $200/night for this one room motel felt a bit steep given it's run-down state, but it was summer so I'm sure that's just the going rate. We liked the location very much, and the room had a microwave and minifridge, which was a huge plus.

Close to beaches
The location of this property was great for hiking, and beach walks. I found several dog friendly restaurants, so my pup was happy.

Look forward to a return
We loved this room. It was clean and had a great view of the ocean. We didn't need AC or heater in July--the temp was perfect, and the ceiling fan on low was excellent at night. One tip with the code entry. Yes, you turn the knob counterclockwise (left) to enter, but you also have to turn the deadbolt above it. Traffic noise was not bad at all, and the surprise whale spout in the yard was a treat! :)

Clean and cozy! Great view of the Ocean! Only issue is the tub didn’t drain very well but other than that it was great.

Nice little room
Quite and close to the ocean. Please dust the fans and make sure that the dog hair is removed from the pillow cases, other than that nice stay.

Great view
We have stayed here several times over the years. We have always enjoyed our stay. The view is nice. Needs updating but has always clean. This time we were in a different room closer to the road. It was pretty noisy. There were cobwebs in corners and did not feel clean overall. Will have to think twice about coming back.

Disgusting stale smoke
I loved nothing. Walked in, looked clean, reeked of stale cigarettes. Obvious that cleaners thought so too, because ceiling fan was on, despite cool, overcast weather. Left immediately, called to inform Vacasa, and was told, well, "that's your choice to leave"!
