About this house rental

Come stay in this beautiful townhouse in the North Georgia Mountains on Lake Chatuge. Two master bedrooms on two levels with two additional bedrooms in a finished basement make this the ideal setting for a group or family reunion. This unit includes four full baths, a private bath for each master and two hall baths. There is also a small kitchen in the basement.

Sitting in the swing on a screened in porch is a great way to start your day. A short walk down to the lake provides access to beautiful Lake Chatuge located in the north Georgia/North Carolina mountains. The boat dock has a sun deck on top. A large yard with steps down in the water is a great place for the kids to swim while you watch from the swing in the gazebo. There is a jetski pad available for your use. If you desire, there is a full service marina one mile away with boat rentals.

You can prepare meals in the large fully equipped kitchen or enjoy eating out at several nice restaurants in the area. You will never tire of the view of the mountains and the lake.

Wonderful vacation, close to many activities. We rented a boat, went horseback riding, tubed the hooch in Helen, went white water rafting on the Nantahala. We did lots of fishing off the dock. Great time.

We love staying at this property! The owner is always available, and helps to make sure everything is working properly. Everything you need for a nice stay is provided! Thank you Mark! Our favorite time to visit is in the autumn, the view from the house of the lake is lovely ! I imagine all the seasons are spectacular! Many great towns near by to do day trips, the scenery was particularly beautiful this year. Good restaurants are plentiful, as well as a delightful department store called, Alexander’s! Fun to browse! Young Harris is right next to Hiawassee so your driving time is short. Looking forward to returning next year! We’ve grown quite fond of this location. Carolyn and Jeff

We had a wonderful fall weekend while staying there in Hiawassee GA. Four couples of "Santa Friends" gathered for fun, Oak Ridge Boys concert, and fellowship. The location of this rental was very convenient to everything. The rooms were set up comfortably and the view of the lake from the gazebo was amazing!

We had the best time staying at this beautiful lake property. We could swim with the kids right out front and tied our boat up to the end of the dock. Plenty of room inside with very comfortable beds. This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely plan another trip!

This lake getaway was a blessing to our family! The house is set up great for teens or kids to have their own space downstairs and the adults to also be able to enjoy the trip. The dock was a great place to hang out and for the kids to swim off and enjoy the day. Mark was easy to reach with any concern or need we had. We will definitely come back. Plenty of room for a family of 6 plus grandparents. Bedrooms on 3 levels so it was nice to have separate spaces. Good location. Our kids really enjoyed a park nearby with beautiful mountian views and a beach that would be nice in the summer. We enjoyed the fireplace every day as well.

We were looking for somewhere that would comfortably accommodate our group of 10 women for the weekend. Needless to say, this house definitely did the job. We had planned to go out at least once for dinner but ended up staying in and cooking. Everything we needed was there so we had no reason to leave the property at all once we were there. There was plenty of sleeping space. There was also space for air mattresses, but we didn't need any. I would definitely recommend this home and have already started referring others.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us this past month. The view from the porch toward the lake and mountains was enchanting. Changing each day. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We enjoyed the fantastic location for many day trips. Rented a boat for fishing – no luck. Sadly we were told Lake Chatuge was being drained for the season. Highly recommend this property! Wonderful for two guests all on one floor. Guest room on upper level was perfect for overnight guests. There is also a huge two bedroom suite downstairs. Enchantment is what it truly was! Carolyn and Jeff

Our visit was due to a wedding invite at The Ridges Resort. This house could not have been better for our visit. We had a place to dock our boat, park the trailer and all within 1/2 mile of the wedding. The house was beautiful and gave all our family members the space they needed for privacy as well as a wonderful gathering room.

Our stay at Lake Chatgue was enjoyable inspite of the weather. We were only there 4 days with the first three with heavy cloud cover and rain. The house is in a great location. on the lake and close to Splash Island for the kids and the marina. The Ridges Resort is well kept and staff is friendly and helpful. We rented a boat at the marina. The last day was sunny with gorgeous views of the mountains. The lake is clear and clean. We found a secluded cove after exploring around the lake to anchor and let the kids jump and dive off the boat. The guys at the marina were very helpful with unloading the boat. We kept the kids occupied with hikes to a couple of local waterfalls. Cupid falls at Young Harris campus and Leatherhead Falls where they actually swam in the creek pools. Putt-Putt golf in Murphy was fun where they did Gem Mining as well The house was comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked which made meal preparation easy. Mark, the owner, is very helpful with suggestions of area activities and info about the marina at the Ridges Resort. The boat storage and dock at the property is well maintained and safe. This property met all of the needs for seven people in a very comfortable way. Thank you Mark for sharing your property and we look forward to staying again soon.

We took just a little 2 night get away with the kids and rented some jet skis. The house was very nice and had lots of space. We had a little trouble with the internet and being able to stay connected in order to complete a movie - but that can be expected in the mountains sometimes. We had a great trip and experience with the house. Would definitely stay again.

What a great spot! The house was wonderful. Very clean and more than enough room for our family of 4 and then when 2 of our friends kids stayed a couple nights with us. Nice quiet spot very close to the lake. We loved the cooler weather, it was perfect for hiking several beautiful spots! Location was perfect for zipping to Hiawassee, Brasstown, or Blairsville. We would for sure want to stay here again if we get to come back to the area. It’s probably lots more crowded in the summertime, but it was ideal for Springbreak!”
