The house is perfect--clean, beautiful and walking distance to so much! Mike and Pam are also extremely nice, responsive, and very accommodating. Not to mention, they have thought of everything you might need to have a nice vacation (bikes, games, towels, beach gear, etc)...which makes packing much easier. There is a reason we stay here every year!!

Hi. My family and I stayed here for 2 weeks during August 2024. We travelled over from Ireland to celebrate the Wedding of our son . We needed a house that would accommodate our whole family and the groom and his new wife after the Wedding. This house was exactly what we needed and Mike and was very helpful and provided us with anything we needed, including a new electric kettle , something not found in many US homes. I would recommend this house if you are looking for the perfect location, plenty of space and its also very close to the center of the town. It has everything you could possibly need. Its got it all and we will be back .. thanks Mike.

We love this rental! This was our second year staying here. There is plenty of space for our family of adult children and significant others. The bedrooms are large, the beds comfortable and no wobbly bunk beds. It is always very clean and well-cared for. The location is perfect with just a quarter mile walk to Short Sands. The table tennis in the garage was a big hit!

We spent a lovely week at Pam & Mike's house which is very well located, within walking distance of Short Sands Beach, shops and parks for young and old and also a few miles from the grocery store and places to visit. This place was perfect for our family (grandparents, children and grandchildren); we were 16 people (from 4 years old to 72 years old). The bedrooms are spacious and the living room is pleasant to spend time with the whole family. The 3 bathrooms are well appointed, there are plenty of towels for the house and the beach. The backyard is big and we played badminton and Mölkky. The ping-pong table was used a lot. We would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking for great accommodation in a quiet, clean location and very friendly owners. Mike informed us that there would be fireworks on Sunday evening at Short Sands; These fireworks were wonderful. Thanks for everything Mike & Pam

Overall, it was a convenient and lovely place to stay. The bedrooms are spacious, and the living area was nice to spend time with the whole family. It was nice having 3 bathrooms with so many people, as well as plenty of towels for the house and the beach. If you have feather allergies (like a few people in our party), the couches/chairs or the pillows were feather stuffed. Though the property is shared with a second rental (two separate homes connected by the garages), it was quiet and spacious. I do wish there were two fire pits instead of one. The family that stayed next to us was super friendly, but it felt a bit weird like we were intruding when using the shared fire pit. The yard is huge, and we set up spike ball and played volleyball. There is a ping pong table that got a lot of use. There were also several bikes, beach toys/shovels, some beach chairs and a stroller in case you'd rather leave yours at home. It was great only being a short 10 min walk to the beach and shops (paid parking can add up). If you have a lot to bring to the beach, you can pull in the parking lot (with no cost) to drop everyone/everything off, drive home and then walk to the beach.

The stairs are very noisy. The master suite hears everything going on in the house. We all enjoyed our stay. Located near short sands, long sands beach and not far from perkins cove and Ogunquit 👍 the children enjoyed the ping pong table! All in all we loved the place ❤️

This is our 3rd stay at Mike and Pam’s property in York Beach - and we’re already looking forward to next year! This place continues to be perfect for our 3 generations of family. Our older generation has limited mobility, so the first floor king bedroom with en suite is a must. The 2.5 bathrooms are also a must as are roomy, oversized bedrooms for multiple generation to use. The decor is cheerful and location can’t be beat! A quick walk to Short Sands beach and the quintessential beach downtown is wonderful with younger kids and for teens and adults. Would recommend this place without hesitation for anyone looking for a large place in a prime location which is clean, well-stocked, and great property management!

This was a perfect spot to stay for our family trip with kids and grandkids - 11 of us in all. The location of the house allowed both trips north up the coast of Maine, and trips south to Boston, Concord, and Salem. Everything necessary for family entertainment (ping-pong table, tv, firepit) was close at hand. There were even bicycles and helmets in the garage! The kitchen was fully equipped and there were plenty of towels for the bathrooms and trips to the beach. Thank you Pamela and Mike!

Another fantastic & memorable stay was experienced by all who joined our annual family Christmas celebration at 52A-B Main Street. The indoor living quarters – spacious spotless and fully stocked – are complemented by the homes’ central location and lovely outdoor living spaces – allowing individuals or groups to easily walk to the Short Sands Beach/ playground or gather around the cozy backyard fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay in York. Thanks again Pam and Mike!

We enjoyed a weekend stay at the house in early October, there were 12 of us and we had plenty of room. The bedrooms are large with multiple beds and the house was well supplied with everything we needed. The owner was easy to contact and pleasant to deal with.

The home was large and accommodated 10 of us very comfortably. The location was within walking distance to Short sands and shops. The house was stocked with everything we needed. It felt like home away from home. The property was very clean and spacious. We had a great time enjoying the fire pit in the back yard. We will definitely return! We had a wonderful time!

This is the best home away from home we have ever found. It is immaculate, smells fresh and clean the moment you walk in. The beds are very comfortable, couches are buttery soft leather, every detail well executed. It lacks nothing. It takes less than 5 mins to walk to downtown and Short Sands beach. Nature everywhere! Saw deer walking by the house at dawn. Absolutely perfect southern Maine Vaca spot. Hope to return.

Ourselves and two other couples along with four adult children traveled to York Beach for a Labor Day weekend wedding. This unit was very conveniently located (easy to get to and easy walk into the York Beach village). The unit was very spacious with ample beds for everyone and we especially liked the large dining table that accommodated all 10 of us for meals and games. The only thing to mention would be that if you are expecting to use the pull out couch as an additional sleeping area, make sure that those sleeping there are the early risers. That area is right off of the main living area and without a door.

This is the fourth or fifth Summer that we have stayed in Mike and Pam's house--and we can't say enough good things about it (and them!) They have thought of everything---from the bikes and games to the beach chairs and towels, pack and play--they make packing a lot easier on us for our family trip! The house is also amazing inside...it has a great set up, is always spotless, and is within walking distance of so many attractions (beach, zoo, restaurants, coffee, etc.) The owners are also extremely nice and very accommodating! There is a reason we keep coming back to the same place every Summer! Highly recommend!!

This private, clean and updated property was perfect for our family of young adults and their significant others and our teenage son. With walking distance to Short Sands, everyone was able to independently go out for breakfast, lunch, coffee, ice cream and souvenirs, as well as to the beach. It's just far enough away from the tourist crowds. The walk to Long Sands beach was not all that far and we enjoyed days at both! We loved the large dining table which allowed us to have evening meals and board games together. The beds were so comfy -- no wobbly bunk beds! Everyone had such a great time -- we can't wait to come back next year!

Our family of eleven stayed this week at 52 Main Street at York Beach . The property was 1/4 mile walk from Short Sands Beach . Town and stores and restaurants were within walking distance . Beach was very busy . To get a parking space you need to get there early . No free parking available. Long Sands Beach much of the same . The property was very spacious for our family . Another fabulous stay at this location! This is our 2nd year staying at Mike and Pam’s property and we’ve already booked for next year! The place is plenty big for our 10 family members-from 8 to 78! First floor master is perfect for our older family members and the large dining room table was perfect for our lobster boil and many card and board games. Location is perfect and is well equipped with bikes, beach chairs and wagon, ping pong and yard games. We love the decor and the place is always immaculate. Mike and Pam are incredibly responsive and helpful. We’re looking forward to another amazing family reunion in 2024 here!

Three generations of our family had a wonderful stay at York Beach. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had every we needed to feed our large group. The beds were comfortable and our 12 family members had plenty of room to relax, watch tv and play games. The ping pong table and fire pit were family favorites. In addition to York we visited Kennebunkport, Freeport, Kittery, Ogunquit and Portland, all within easy driving distance. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
