This was a great home for our family, spanning three generations (6 adults and 2 toddlers). The home sits on a bluff and is less than 20 stair steps to the beach. Large picture windows frame the ocean on both levels. The kitchen and master bathroom appear to be remodeled in the past five years. Other areas of the home could use a refresh. Our family enjoyed watching for whales, dolphins, and the daily kite surfers. Overall it was a very good experience..

The location, easy checkin and communication with the property manager was fantastic, the house was clean, although looks like it has been neglected for a while. General maintenance in the bathrooms, back deck, electrically the house needs updated, lights were twitchy and had “hot spots” in the carpet upstairs. The downstairs TV was fuzzy. Had to use the house phone to make some calls. Our cell phones were cutting in and out while on calls. Cant beat the location and beach access, our family had a great time over all. :)

The unobstructed view of the ocean and direct access to a stunning beach makes this large home one of the BEST properties along Road's End. The home is spacious and is equipped with every convenience. The kitchen is stocked with appliances, dishes and the utensils needed to cook wonderful meals, sip a glass of wine, a cocktail or to simply enjoy the leftovers from some of Lincoln City's wonderful restaurants. The beds are comfy and the sheets, pillows and extra blankets make sleeping with the windows open a treat! Vickie is very responsive and checking in and out was a breeze. We loved the character of this house... it is an eclectic mix of antique furniture and modern comfort. It feels family friendly with big televisions and plenty of games, cards and puzzles are available to keep kids entertained. It was perfect for our group. We loved returning to this peaceful, comfortable home at the end of a day exploring the beautiful Oregon coast. Highly recommended!

This was a great spot, overlooking the beach and right next to a public access stairway, which is accessible from the lawn. The house was well equipped and was very comfortable
The stairs to the beach are steep, the lower section does not have a handrail and the steps are wet and sandy/slimy, and the final step is quite tall and onto beach rocks (baseball size and up), so they might be difficult for those with mobility issues

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Land's End. Vickie was a great host, and was very prompt if we had questions. The views were unbeatable, as was the access to the beach/ocean. We loved the town of Lincoln City, and enjoyed our excursions into town to go the store, or go out to dinner (went to Kyllo's and had a fabulous meal!).
The kitchen was well-stocked with all the cooking items needed, and we enjoyed the games, watched a couple of movies, and had plenty of room for the whole family. Couldn't have recommended it anymore!

The location was great right off the beach!! My complaints would be the amount of chores expected to be done prior to a 10am check out. And the house rules were if the garbage doesn’t fit in the bins to take it with you and unfortunately for us the trash can was full so we had to take our garbage with us. Also be careful of the stairs they are very narrow and steep my mother fell down them the morning of check out.

We have returned to Vickie’s rental two yrs in a row. Location location location. Oceanfront, amazing views, middle of the coast: 1 hr up to Tillamook and an hr south to Cape perpetua. Kiddos loved playing in the sand. Large kitchen for home cooked meals. Beautiful master shower. Other bathrooms are aged but functional and clean. Easy communication w owner. We will be regulars.

Great place to stay. Lots of space. Right on beach, stairs to beach could be iffy for older people. Big grassy area to play in, if you had little ones you would have to watch due to cliff and no fence. Close to store and casino. Our family would stay here again.

We had the best time at one of the best vrbo’s we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect. So close to the beach. The stairs are public access but they are literally right there as if they were your own. The house was big, cozy & clean. Lots of room for our whole family. The host was easy to get ahold of. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of towels. The only thing we will say is that you should wear shoes on the deck as it is obviously weathered due to being so close to the ocean. Our little one got a gnarly splinter in her foot. Also the wifi was terrible but that could have been operator error 😝.

What a blessing it was to be able to enjoy just a bit of paradise if only for a weekend. Well located oceanfront home with enough room to have gatherings. The ocean views are excellent. Looking forward to our next stay!

This property was as wonderful as the photos and reviews suggest. Immaculate with a well-appointed kitchen and stunning views of the ocean. Nice large gathering spaces but also plenty of bedrooms to accommodate our group. Plenty of quiet neighborhood with a few deer strolling around but conveniently located just minutes to downtown. Property owners were very responsive - Can’t wait to come back!

Our family & grandparents love this home! We’ve stayed here twice and will return year after year. The beach views, well stocked home, and abundance of space is perfect for our family of 10, aged 6 to 75. The kids love the warm sandy beach, the play room & games. The adults love that the beach is literally 20 steps away. The home is perfect for all ages. The older characteristics add to its incredible charm. Truly feels like home away from home.

The ocean reviews were great and the chef kitchen was fabulous! The only thing was the bottom of the stairs leading to the beach needs handle or warning sign.

This house worked well for our family of 10. It has amazing views of the ocean and you can see the waves. Great beach access. Huge updated kitchen. One huge shower everyone used (individually of course) with five shower heads.

This is a large spacious home. Loved Lincoln beach. Walk north to the pointe at low tide, it was amazing, Lots of starfish etc on the rocks. The main floor master suite has a nice new bath and shower. The upper bedrooms could use new beds, sheets and towels. I think it is allot to asked of the guests to wash and dry their sheets as some people have planes to catch. The cleaning fee should cover this.

We decided to celebrate our daughter's graduation with a trip back to Oregon and some time at the beach, we couldn't have made a better choice. An amazing view of the beach and ocean from so much of the house and such easy access to the beach. Can't wait to visit again.

The location was great, beautiful view from large living room /kitchen. It was nice to have a patio that was protected from the wind and a small yard for outdoor games. Stairs to the beach were easy to access. The door to the patio could not be opened from the yard /beach side which was very inconvenient.
We would have appreciated more than one roll of paper towels and two garbage bags for our five day stay. Also, seems strange to have to wash AND dry all bedding and towels before checking out.

The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the big windows in all the rooms that faced the beach. Parking area was great. Looking forward to our next stay there.

Great location! Gorgeous view. Comfortable beds. Make sure to bring beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, sand toys and paper towels. Many spices in kitchen but not well stocked otherwise.

We really enjoyed the easy beach access and the 2 living areas. The price was right. The upstairs was not as updated as the main floor however, the price, view and beach access plus the beautiful kitchen more than made for lack of updates. Washing all sheets and towels gave little time on the last morning so some of us brought our own sheets.
We would absolutely rent this home again. The owner was easy to communicate with through the process.

The view was absolutely amazing, but the property was not at luxury like the pictures or discription. Although we paid luxury price! Except for the kitchen and master bath the house had not been updated since the 1980's or earlier, incluing the 80's nude artwork. The floors were creaky and extremely slanted, wierd layout and the garage was a dump. The rock fireplace was cracked in several places ands it felt like the whole house was slowly sliding off the hill. We had to get up early the last day just to get all the laundry done before 10 am check out. It only sleeps 10 if you sleep on the 2 couches. It had 1 king, 2 queens and a double sleeper sofa. Even with the beautiful veiws, I would not recommend. Save your money or find a nice rental with more than just a nice kitchen and master bathroom.

The house is spacious. Some parts reflect the age of the house. Some parts are either newer or remodeled. It has the feel of a luxury house. It is easy to spend hours looking out at the beach and the waves. We woke up December 25th with frost on the ground and December 26th with snow on the ground. The house had all the utensils we needed for meals. The area is great.

We used to live in Roads End (a few doors down) and love it dearly. It was so wonderful to bring my family here again, and this house was perfect for our needs. It was spacious, with a huge kitchen, large windows and direct beach access. The owners were so gracious and excellent with communication. We are already planning our next stay!

My family came from all over the US and met up to stay at this super cute house. The view was phenomenal and the best part of the whole house. The house has a lot of character and charm. Loved our stay there!
