This home was perfect for our stay with 2 teens, a toddler, and my wife and I. A quiet neighborhood with friendly deer passing through, and a wooded area that makes you feel like you’re in the country. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. The deck was lovely and the hot tub was a definite bonus. Would definitely be interested in staying at this location again. The only downfall is that the beach is a 15 minute hilly walk, but that was minor in the grand scheme of a wonderful stay!

Great location! Beautiful area to walk. The kitchen was fantastic. Could use new springs in the beautiful leather stools in the kitchen and the leather couch. The beds were comfy. Hot tub was well maintained. S’mores by the fire pit a must!

We had a great time. The house is located in a very nice little enclave of Michiana. It was easy to find and navigate the neighborhood. The beach is a very short walk away and was very clean. The house is well-appointed and comfortable. We really enjoyed the guest log and the other hand-done book with the recipes. It was very welcoming. We had everything we needed and wanted. We had no issues with anything. The communication was great, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. We look forward to returning.

Went for a small girls trip, and we had the best time. The home was extremely clean and cozy. They had many amenities at your fingertips. The neighborhood was so nice and everyone was friendly. Walks to the beach every morning was definitely a highlight. We would recommend this home, and would love to come back!

Had a great stay. Everything was as advertised. The neighborhood was nice and quiet with a short walk to lake Michigan. Plenty of deer and wildlife to see as well.

This house was amazing. Truly everything you needed and more! We enjoyed catching up with our adult sons, going for walks, grilling, and lounging on the deck. Weather was gorgeous - we went Mother’s Day weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better way to relax. We had a little trouble figuring out the key when we arrived but property manager was available right away to help us out. Thanks for all of the small amenities - and the amazingly stocked kitchen.

Comfortable home with large fireplace, hot tub and wrap around deck - mild fireplace odor that comes from use. Great grill which we enjoyed cooking on. The mattresses and furniture were Comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for a rental. Super quiet neighborhood. Would definitely come again.
If i were to change anything, less soft couches and slightly softer seating in kitchen area for game play...this is strictly personal preference.

Clean house that was perfect for our family. Kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of fun games for a rainy day. Really nice outdoor propane grill, fire pit, and chairs for around the fire pit. The location is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and we saw a mother deer and her two babies everyday. Halfway between the cities of Michigan City and New Buffalo with lots of great restaurants and things to do. Time zones threw us for a loop until we figured out where the lines were drawn, but other than that, a wonderful experience.

Beautiful property inside and out! Hot tub was clean and refreshing. Home is well maintained and very cozy. Plenty to do close by if you want to go out, and plenty to do if you want to stay in as well. Probably the cleanest property I have stayed at so far.

Cozy cabin-like home, very well appointed with practically everything you need, including well equipped kitchen, large wrap-around deck, multiple outside seating areas, hot tub (although I did not use it), comfortable beds (3 bedrooms, all with queen/king size beds), 2 full bathrooms. The host was exceptionally responsive and easy to work with. Most importantly they allowed my dog to accompany me and made no fuss about it (like so many properties putting ridiculous weight limits on dogs). They went above an beyond to welcome my four-legged family member and even had bowls out waiting for us when we arrived. Wonderful experience!
The house sits on a relatively busy intersection about 3 blocks away from the beach in a residential neighborhood, but the beautiful fully wooded lot and area make for beautiful and restful surroundings. Being there by myself with my dog, I actually liked seeing all the passersby in their golf carts (highly recommend renting one - great experience!), on bikes, lots and lots of walkers, plus some construction crews as there are many mansions going up in this area (clearly a sought-after location!). The property is not fenced-off, which made me hesitate with my dog, but I just brought a couple of 30ft leads to let her roam safely around the property.
I would highly recommend this property, particularly for dog owners! Enjoyed it!

The house is lovely -- roomy, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked (linens, paper products, more than ample kitchen equipment and even some food staples.) We had a great time walking to the beaches and throughout the neighborhood, lounging in the jacuzzi, eating on the patio, and roasting marchmellows over the fire pit. One suggestion for future renters: reserve a golf cart before you arrive. We were not aware of this possiblity until we had checked in and saw several carts zipping around the neighborhood. Unfortunately, all of the carts had been reserved because of the boat races scheduled at Michigan City. Nevertheless, we had a great time. We will probably come again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was wonderful and clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the location was perfect. It's within walking distance of the beach and close to New Buffalo where there is lots to do! We will definitely come back!

Had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Short golf cart ride to two playgrounds and to beach access. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and games! Really appreciated use of the cooler bag and the black-out curtains for our littles. Would definitely stay here again!

House was amazing, had all the items we needed to prepare meals. Very clean, and comfy beds. Fireplace was enjoyed everyday of our stay. Most the time we were there the weather wasn't great so was nice there was plenty of games, and room to do puzzle.Island gave us plenty of space for other games. The only thing we thought was a negative was where the outside fire pit was located. It was on the corner near the road. Just didnt seem private, but we didnt get the chance to use. You can actually hear the lake on a windy day. All in all will stay here again if we choose New Buffalo area again.

What a great property for 3 adult couples. The house was very clean and cozy. The location is really nice to take walks to the lake and a short drive to New Buffalo and St. Joes. We also enjoyed the hot tub and front porch. Unfortunately it was a little to windy for the fire pit.

We had a great weekend here. Everything was as described. Took long walks, did puzzles by the fire, popped in the hot tub, and enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Dog friendliness a plus.

Communication was timely. Check-in was a breeze. The home was clean and well-equipped. Beds were comfy and home was cozy. The hot tub was wonderful and the firepit and chairs were great. Quick walk to the water. The location was the perfect spot for hitting the wineries. I would stay here again.

The house gave our family a great springboard for all of the area activities. A well equipped kitchen also made staying in and cooking with the family made things really easy.
I would stay again!

Perfect place to stay!
My family and I stayed here over our Spring Break with the kids. It was a perfect getaway for us! Everything we really clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a great addition to our stay, beds were comfortable, towels were provided. I had read one review that was complaining about the fireplace, but my guess is they didn't open the flue, as we had a fire in the fireplace one night and it was perfect. Really recommend!

The area had 12"+ snow so it was very pretty. It was relaxing to sit in the hot tub under the stars and during a light snowfall. The house was a good size for our family get away and wonderful that our fur baby was welcome too.

Thanks for the Stay!
We had a really nice weekend unplugging from busy Chicago, and everything was as expected with the cabin. New Buffalo and the surrounding areas were very fun to explore, and coming back to a hot tub and warm fire made our stay everything we could've wanted.

Great house. Upstairs Beds should be more comfortable for two adults to sleep
Only complaint is the upstairs beds not for two adults, ended up sleeping on the couches

Excellent Weekend Getaway
Our family had a wonderful time staying in this home. The large kitchen with island worked really well for family dining. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit every evening we were there. The home is in close proximity to downtown New Buffalo and other harbor country destinations (Three Oaks, Sawyer, etc). Would highly recommend!

Good place.
We enjoyed the cabin and especially the hot tub! Just a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to Indiana and Michigan dunes. We had a wonderful time.

Well Equipped and Maintained Except One Thing
We had an overall good experience but the fireplace was a downer. The draft is not sufficient to keep smoke from entering the house. We tried twice trying to position the logs differently and adjust the fire to no avail. The heavy soot on the stone above the fireplace indicates this is a continuing problem and needs to be remedied. It snowed while we were there and the drive was shoveled promptly. They even cleaned our car off. The home is in a residential neighborhood so it's not particularly private. The fire pit is very near the street. Floors need to be mopped regularly.

Great home.
Very relaxing with great location.

Family Getaway
Cute house but smaller than pictures. Too much stuff in house. Needs staging and more room for visitors’ personal belongings. Needs easy chair and firmer couch. Definitely not a chef’s kitchen. Need new knives and glass wine glasses to go with wine fridge. House clean and updated. Nice outdoor table and grill. We enjoyed the hot tub . Need new towels. Only 3 hand towels
