Situated in Chateau Aspen, this condo is centrally located in the heart of the city and near the slopes. You'll be two blocks away from public transportation that will take you to Snowmass and Highlands. And you'll have City Market, the local grocery store, right across the street from you.
The living area is comfortable and inviting. Recline on the soft sectional sofa lined with pillows and let your worries drift away. Play some music on the stereo/CD player while you adjust to your new home, or stream a movie via your personal Netflix account and watch it on the flatscreen cable TV.
Use the breakfast bar for four to start your mornings off with coffee and the complimentary WiFi so you can locate attractions, get directions, and plan your day. In the evening, enlist your guests to sit here and help with dinner prep or just keep you company. The galley-style kitchen is lovely with stainless steel appliances - including a dishwasher - and lots of counter space. When your creation is complete, enjoy it together at the round, glass-top table for four. And if you're in the mood for a cookout, the community gathering area has a gas grill for your use.
At bedtime, this two-bedroom, one-bath rental sleeps up to four guests. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, and sliding glass doors to the outside. In the second bedroom, you'll find two twins that can be pushed together to create a king. This versatility makes this vacation condo an excellent choice for a small family or two couples traveling together. There's also a washer/dryer, so you can pack light for your trip.
Activities and options abound here. In the winter, walk to the lifts, just two blocks away, and hit the mountain for a full day of top-notch skiing or boarding. Those looking for more sedate activities will enjoy taking to the backcountry for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Plan a tour with Ashcroft Ski Touring, or head to the Aspen Public Golf Course for Nordic skiing, just two miles away.
In the summer, the golf course is a great place to get out and enjoy the beautiful Colorado sunshine while you work on your swing. Do some hiking or mountain biking, or take to the water for some rafting or fishing. Treat yourself to eclectic shopping and world-class dining in downtown Aspen. And at the end of your busy days, kick back and enjoy your beautiful surroundings in the community gathering area at the condo while you sip a hot toddy by the outdoor firepit.

The location of the property was perfect! I loved how cozy the home felt! I will definitely book with this property again.

Great spot in Aspen. Only complaint was booking said no reserved parking but in the guest book in the unit, there is reserved parking in front of space. Parking access is via the alley. Update booking so future residents don’t pay for street parking.

The location is great and the host was responsive. However there was mold in the shower and the unit itself has barely any windows as it is on the ground floor (makes it a bit dark and dingy). Otherwise no complaints as it’s central to everything and it has complimentary parking.

Nothing stating alley entrance with noise. AC did not work. Left some clothes in dress drawer and the rental management company did nothing to help. Would not recommend.

Hit or miss cleaning throughout unit. Cracked wine glass. Clothes left in bathroom. Otherwise great place to stay.

Phenomenal location

One star for location. “Let your worries drift away.”
The first three Vacasa photos of a patio, with seating and a barbecue? Forget those - now find your way to the back alley. Pass 9 dumpsters, numerous delivery trucks (all documented with photos, daily).
Congratulations! You are residing in an alley! If you want to access the front of the condos, just walk a block around. No access from your alley unit.
The rule book says be quiet for neighbors- with trash trucks and delivery trucks starting at 7:00 AM, it would be difficult to hear any neighbors, much less bother them.
Sliding doors to the outside? Open your bedroom curtains and look at a brick wall! Glad there are sliding doors for that.
The master bedroom contain no “flat screen TV.”
“Let your worries drift away.” Downtown Aspen beauty! The authors of this listing description are pros - pros at lies of omission.

The location of the condo to everything Aspen has to offer was great as everyone had mentioned in previous reviews. Buried deeper in the reviews was the location of the unit within the complex - you are in the back of the building in the alley near larger dumpsters. You will be woken up early by the sound of the dumpsters getting emptied. Overall, that actually didn't bother us as much as it is a basement-esq unit that is dark and doesn't have any cross ventilation. In the summer, there is no option for AC which most mountain houses/condos don't have. However, there needs to be a better set up to ensure that there is some fresh air in the unit - there are two small fans and two ceiling fans (one of which in the twin bedroom clicks loudly and can't be used). You can't sleep with the sliding doors open because they go into an alley that can be accessed by either neighbors or people walking by. The pictures overall are reflective of the unit and we found the unit clean. It would be good to have fresh sheets as the bedding was old and pilled (specifically on the King bed).

Property was just ok. Looks like a recent renovation by an amateur do-it-yourselfer. Nice furnishing choices but not installed properly. Nice bathroom sinks that sit on top of counter but counter wasn’t lowered like it should have been so I had to stand on my tippy toes to brush my teeth. Shower floor also nice choice with the pebbles but, again, not installed with proper grade so water pooled and sat for days. Entrance is in an alley way and it was not communicated so we had a hard time finding it. Very, very close to everything which was helpful as our vehicle was often blocked by garbage trucks and other trucks that were loading and unloading in the alley so at least we were able to walk to everything. It was very dark inside and although there were lots of lights, they were very dim and several did not have light bulbs. Carpets in both bedrooms need serious cleaning. Nothing horrible about the place overall and with a few maintenance items resolved it is a decent place to stay for the price and great location.

The unit was clean, nice and close to all things in town.
Very convenient .
The only downside was the large TV. Cable box had not been updated in years. Still had an analog signal into a Digital Smart TV. Picture was sub par and blurred.
TV in back BR doesn't work at all. All in all the location was perfect. Didn't go there to watch TV.

Great location but gross alleyway
My wife and I stayed here recently with our infant son and although the location can’t be beat, the alleyway in which the apartment is situated is very busy with huge trucks constantly delivering from the early morning to late at night. Also, it also smells bad because this is where many of the nearby restaurants and business’ store their trash.
If you are only looking for a place to rest your head at night - this place is ideal but if you are traveling with a child and therefore need to hang out during the day for naps etc then skip it.

Awesome stay!
This really is in the heart of Aspen! Close to everything and a quick walk anywhere. The house is comfortable and well appointed. The shower was amazing! The property manager was wonderful when we had a question or two. Highly recommend.

Wow, this is a five-star rental. We cannot say enough great things about this extremely spacious condo. It was a quick walk to all downtown restaurants and more importantly the ski lift. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Great location.
Alley entrance with little light, but great location and had everything we needed. There were items left in the freezer and refrigerator which should be thrown away due to COVID.
Had questions for the property management company and never received a return email. They are overwhelmed with the increase of business, but that was very frustrating.
Also when I arrived there was no parking. I had to wait on the phone for almost an hour to talk to someone. The unit comes with parking which is definitely needed. I was finally put in touch with the local property manager and she was very helpful.

Perfect Aspen Location
The condo was within spitting distance of everything in the Aspen Core. It was fully supplied with the sorts of stuff most condos only provide for a few days, like soap, shampoo, paper products, laundry and dishwasher detergent. The kitchen was well laid out and quite functional with all the tools needed to cook gourmet meals. The barbecue and fire pit shown on the photos but not mentioned in the ad are communal but we had no problem using them whenever we wanted to, you do have to walk to the front of the building but no big deal. The local manager was always available and quite responsive. The only minor issue was the building wide WiFi that went down occasionally. We would definitely stay here again

Nice place overall
Great location. Entry to the unit through the alley is odd, but OK. Unit renovation resulted in a comfortable place to stay. Figuring out the entertainment system took some effort, some directions would have been nice.

We came to Aspen for a wedding, the location was perfect. Walking distance to everything we needed. Loved the town and our stay, even got to see a couple black bears😲 on Main Street when out walking. Highly recommend this condo.

Perfect location & very nice accommodations
Condo was beautiful & updated, centrally located and very clean. We received clear arrival instructions and were very pleased with the stay. Parking in Aspen is challenging and the only problem we had was parking our 2nd car and leaving the car after check-out.

Great stay for my brothers wedding!
Thank you for such a perfect stay. This was the best place for my husband and I (plus baby) to stay with our parents. Bathroom is outside both rooms so you don’t disturb anyone in the middle of the night. Right across from the grocery store so we could do breakfast in the room each day, everything we needed was provided, including a fan upon request since we were there the hottest week of the year (even then not bad at all). Location was next to everything downtown and parking was a huge plus! There’s no view but we weren’t there to stay in the room so that didn’t matter to us - actually it helped because we wanted our rooms to be darker for naps for the baby. The shower was amazing as well. We would definitely stay again, summer or winter! Thanks!

Awesome stay in Aspen
This is a small but nice condo in Aspen. Lots of pros and a few cons. Location gets 5 stars because it is a block from the center of town and 1 star because you have to walk through an alley past the trash every time you leave. Very clean. Very comfortable beds.

Perfect for our group of four!
Everything we could have possibly needed was available to us. The best stocked kitchen we have ever had and the location was ideal.

Fabulous little gem in the heart of Aspen
We decided to stay here because we had friends in other units in the building. The location is fabulous. The unit was super clean and well stocked with all the essentials. The bed was super comfortable and the kids were happy with their own space. There was plenty of closet space. The bathroom had a fabulous shower and kitchen was nice and open, perfect for families. The bus stop was 2 blocks over making it super easy to get to buttermilk and Snowmass. The one downfall was no pool or jacuzzi but the price point and location make up for it.
