The house was neat as a pin and well appointed for our family. We were in town for a wedding. Everyone enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. The kitchen area was a gathering place to talk and visit. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect house or experience. Thanks so much!

Super clean, great hot water, Verizon worked decent on 4G outside, Wifi on site was pretty decent too, no issues with netflix streaming. We did see a bear in the yard one evening, don't keep food in your car.

We had 23 people in our group. I've been working with our Youth Group for 15 years, staying at all kinds of houses, and this was the best house every. Bedrooms, bathrooms, fellowship area, and kitchen were perfect. I will definitely be returning to this house in the future :)

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a VRBO house rental in Banner Elk, NC, and it exceeded all our expectations. Our large extended family, spanning from infants to grandparents, found this property to be the ideal setting for a memorable getaway.
Spacious Comfort for All:
The house provided ample space for our diverse group, ensuring everyone had their own area to relax and enjoy. The thoughtful layout allowed for both communal activities and private moments, catering perfectly to our family dynamics.
Well-Equipped for Large Groups:
From kitchen essentials to entertainment options, the house had everything we needed for a seamless stay. It's clear that the owners understand the needs of large groups, and their attention to detail was greatly appreciated.
Winter Wonderland Experience:
The unexpected snowfall added a magical touch to our trip, and we were pleasantly surprised when super nice guys arrived first thing in the morning to clear the snow for us. This level of service went above and beyond, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Would Absolutely Stay Again:
Our overall experience was nothing short of wonderful. The combination of a well-appointed home, accommodating space, and exceptional service makes us eager to return. If you're looking for a perfect retreat in Banner Elk, NC, this VRBO rental is a top-notch choice.

Our group of 25 had the most wonderful stay here at this cabin. We can't emphasize enough that for a big group, this cabin is great! Mitchell was super helpful and kind. We're grateful to have stayed here and retreat and rest in the Blue Ridge.

This is our fourth autumn of a family reunion in this wonderful cabin. It was so perfect the first year that we have come back every year since, and it has come to feel like “Grandma’s house” for our family—a place where we share laughter a memories that can never be replaced. It is always clean and cozy. Perfect stay, as usual! It is now a family tradition. ❤️

We had five couples traveling in our group. We needed bedrooms with private baths, a large gathering area, and a large kitchen/dining area. This house delivered on all accounts. Beautiful home and well maintained. The road to the cabin is a little twisty but after a couple of times of driving it all was good. If you are golfing we played at Mountain Glen Golf Course. Excellent course

We really enjoyed our stay, my husband and Irented this house for our kids and grandkids for a week end get away. The house is very nice, clean, well managed, well stocked. It is a great property for a large family getaway.

This was an amazing property and fitted our needs perfectly with the exception of the water pressure and temps. Water pressure especially upstairs was NOT good if others were simultaneously showering. In addition, water temps were erratic. The temps vacillated between cool to scalding. We would hope/wish for the property to correct this issue as we would like to return annually. Everything else was nothing short of fantastic.

Our church's high school youth stayed here for 2 nights and skied Sugar Mountain this weekend. The house was perfect! The owners thought of everything. Maybe the first rental I've stayed in that actually has plenty of space and seating to match the listed capacity. Fully stocked kitchen with 2 dishwashers to make it easy for our large group. Thank you so much!

Not Clean
The cabin was large and beautiful as described. The area was great, and we really enjoyed the fire ring each night. However, the cabin was not clean. When we arrived the kitchen counters had food and stickiness on them. The hall bathroom was dirty, and we found a bowl in the cabinet with rotten, rancid food on it. In addition, there were no cleaning products in the house so that we could at least make it suitable for our stay. We had to purchase cleaning products. We loved the cabin, the large yard and the location, but sadly the lack of cleanliness would prevent us from staying here again.

Some problems
Door code did not work but very nice and helpful mgs came and got is in. We had 8 children with us. We rented this one especially to canoe and zip line but found out we could do neither. Major disappointment and frankly we feel overcharged because of it. The home was great for our group of 18. Very nice for our Easter egg hunt outside.Great kitchen too.

Four Families Ski Trip!
This location was the perfect spot for 4 families vacationing together. On suite bathrooms and lots of communal space allowed is to spread out. Huge tables for meals and gaming and an easy to use fireplace were all hits. We were only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain, which made skiing super convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and organized and the two dishwashers allowed us to keep up with all the dishes. We had a little issue using our code on the first day and Dave was there to help us in less than 10 minutes. We definitely plan on staying here again and would highly recommend this property!

GREAT PLACE-PERFECT PROPERTY FOR GROUP TRIP WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS
We had an amazing time. The property held a large group of us and our friends, including kids. Our favorite part was the entire property that was covered in snow, and perfect for sledding! It was one of the best parts of our trip! Pretty centrally located I would say. We were close to Sugar Mountain, which is where we skied, and close to other activities, shops and restaurants. Can't wait to go back!

Blown Away
The cabin far exceeded my expectations. Everything in the inside seemed brand new and worked perfectly. The view outside was breath taking, the pictures do not do this place justice. Will definitely be staying here again.

The house was large enough for us (14 people) with more than enough cookware, plates, bowls, towels, blankets, and etc. There were two square tables with checkers built into table (one upstairs and one downstairs) which was fun to use. There are also several board games. There was plenty of parking to include our rented 15 passenger van. The house was about 10 minutes away from skiing at Sugar Mountain and 30 from Beech Mountain. The roads are steep and curvy so use caution plus you will definitely need chains if it’s snowing or icy. Although it wasn’t a issues for us, there are only two televisions in the entire 7 bedroom house so if you aren’t there for the scenery bring technology. Additionally, there is no cable or antenna so personal streaming services are needed. The internet access worked throughout our whole trip which was about 5 days.Lastly, the hot water takes several minutes to warm up so have patience but once it’s hot it stays hot for everyone to shower (at least it did for us). The property manager even ensured a Christmas tree was up for our stay which was a wonderful touch especially considering we just got married Dec 21st and already had a van packed full of wedding supplies. I highly recommend this property for your stay.

Great stay for a large group!!!
We had 13 people, ages 9 to 81. The sleeping and bathroom arrangements were perfect! The kitchen was well equipped for us to get Thanksgiving on the table to feed our family. Proximity to Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock was great.

Fall Reunion
Met all our needs. Very nice and quiet and was just as advertised.

Comfortable secluded relaxation.
Overall I was very impressed with this vacation rental.
Pros. In great condition
Outdoor deck space and seating.
Kitchen and dining
Sleeping provisions besides bedrooms (our family maxed out the capacity)
Nice yard to set up volleyball net.
Proximity to town (less than 10 minutes)
Nice provision for on screen entertainment.
Cons.
There was a small complication with check in. The code I received didn’t unlock the door, but the manager took care of that within five minutes.
Although I like how calm and peaceful the the situation was with very little traffic, the front porch didn’t offer good views of the mountains.
Final opinion. Would recommend and use in the future.

Well appointed vacation home
Sharing this property was a pleasure. Our group of 18 found plenty to space to be together for meals but also places to spend time in smaller groups as desired. The deck and yard provide plenty to room to spread out without leaving the property.
This has to be the best kitchen I've ever seen in a vacation rental! Our group of 18 included lots of cooks and bakers who made frequent use of the two dishwashers, assorted pots and pans, hand mixer, etc. Best of all, the nearby Food Lion grocery store is updated and welcoming.
Finally, hiking Linville Falls is a must!

The Week In the Mountains
Our family of four children with their spouses and eight grandchildren had a great week. The cabin was in driving distance of Tweetsie Railroad, and Grandfather Mountain that all enjoyed. One evening the grands played out door games on the very big nice lot while the adults joined or sat on the big porch and watched. We loved the big bed and bath rooms. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was comfortable seating room for all eighteen.

Framily Skiing trip
Absolutely perfect! Our group had 12 kids ranging in age from 1-14 and 6 adults. There was plenty of space for everyone, dinners were a breeze in the large kitchen and the outdoor space was phenomenal. The location was incredibly convenient, so close to sugar mountain for skiing/snow boarding/tubing. It was everything we needed in a group vacation rental!
