First time to Winter Park for a family birthday experience… There were nine of us, and it was spacious yet super cozy! All the beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels and hot water. The big hot tub and sauna were a hit after a long day on the slopes. The kitchen literally has everything needed to cook and feed a large group 3 meals a day without having to constantly do dishes! The open floor plan was the best for hanging out and playing games and the wood burning stove set the perfect mood for group hangtime. Larreta was kind and gracious and communicative. We would definitely come back!

Loretta was an amazing host! She was very responsive to messages that we sent when we had questions (before and during our stay). The hot tub and sauna were AMAZING and we really enjoyed having both! Most of us forgot this- but bring shoes to get down the stairs to the hot tub! None of us had anything other than snow boots and we didn’t want the insides wet, so bring a second pair of shoes to walk outside if you don’t want your feet to freeze from the hot tub to the back door! My friends also requested that I make sure to comment on the shower- AMAZING shower pressure. Everyone had really great showers that we just really enjoyed! Location- great location! We just drove to our activities, but we were super close to everything!

We had an amazing time staying here! It was so convenient for skiing in WP and it had a private, secluded mountain feel with beautiful views. The sauna was a highlight. The hot tub and other areas of the house had cleanliness issues but I addressed that with the host and discovered they were dealing with issues finding good cleaning people to take care of it between stays. Other than that, we loved everything about it. Would definitely book again!

Great time at this property! Great location - Downtown is 5 minutes, slopes are about 8 minutes. Loretta had so many amenities - games, hot tub, snow shoes, sled, even a waffle maker! Would highly recommend if you’re coming to ski with a lot of couples as the four beds + loft was perfect for everyone to have their own space. I’d recommend traversing up the road a bit more and checking out the “cross country ski” area. We had a blast snowshoeing and sledding!

This house was perfect for our first Christmas away from home. It was the perfect size for our group of 10. It was very clean and well kept. Loretta is a wonderful host. She kept us informed of the weather we headed into, she was quick to answer any of our questions.

We had a great time in the hot tub, the sound of the stream right next to the home is very nice and relaxing also. You will appreciate all of that once you take the drive up the mountain to get there. If you are not familiar with the area I wouldn’t suggest you drive at night for the first time. During the day you can appreciate the view and it doesn’t seem as scary. Lol. This was a beautiful place. Beds were comfy and seems to be plenty of them. It’s cozy, not fancy.

We went up to Winter Park for my birthday with my family! This house is by far the best cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Location is perfect and size of the cabin accommodated everyone. We will definitely be booking with them again!

What you see on the photos is what you get. Small but functional kitchen, large dining table, space to spread out. It was great for a family of 5, but if you like to have a couple of people in each room, it will work. The owner was great to work with and everything was clean. The place had the most number of hooks on the walls and nightlights we have even seen in a rental - very convenient for a ski trip.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Owner was very responsive to questions and requests. The house was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies, which we very much appreciated. The one thing guests should be aware of is that there are very steep winding stairs to the loft and also to the downstairs bedrooms. The hot tub and sauna are a real bonus.

This was the perfect place for two families to spend a long weekend in WP. The kitchen is small and a bit cluttered - not a lot of space for groceries. Other than that, beds were comfortable, hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing in POWDER, and space was great for our needs!

This home is so amazing. Lots of room with a comfy cabin feel. We enjoyed nights with the wood burning stove going while playing games and cards. The home met all of our needs through out the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The hot tub and sauna were in use daily and felt wonderful. We will definitely be back for another stay. We really did not want to leave! Loretta was also a wonderful hostess and a pleasure to communicate with. Thank you so much!

Good location for skiing but bad stairs

The house wasn’t bad and it was in a good location if you plan on skiing, but was not baby or elder friendly. There are very steep and dangerous spiral stairs that go to the loft and bottom level. I’m pregnant and fell several times trying to carry my toddler on the stairs. The loft railings are also too far apart and are not baby friendly. The hot tub and sauna are a nice touch and the shuttle picks up by the driveway which are all pluses.

Stayed with a few couples/friends and Loretta and the property exceeded our expectations! The home itself has everything you need - and the sauna was a nice touch. 10 people stayed one night, and the house was more than spacious enough for all of us. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make/serve dinner. The Winter Park shuttle also picks up at the top of the driveway across the street, and has easy and very fast access to places all over Fraser and Winter Park for free, which is very nice to have. Loretta is also an excellent host - checking in to make sure we understood how to use everything in the house and that we had everything we needed. She had also stocked the house extremely well for our four days in it - never had a concern about essentials running out for extended stay. Can't recommend enough!

Great location for winter fun

We had a great weekend at this cozy cabin. Its location was perfect-near trails, town, slopes, and right on a creek. There were plenty of beds for everyone, though the loft is not suitable for younger kids due to the stairs and the railings. We were also grateful for all the Kleenex boxes and the closets full of towels. The hot tub was great and the dry sauna was a nice surprise. It was a lovely, cozy weekend in the snow.

Plenty of room for the eight people in our group. Home is literally right next to a bus line for Winter Park. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing. Anything you need is a very short drive into town. Great location and a well kept home made for a relaxing vacation.

Hot tub was just right -day and night. Only suggestions- With only 2 bathrooms it would have been helpful to have mirrors in downstair bedrooms. Thanks

Loretta, thank you for offering your cozy, comfortable house. It was perfect for two families. We all loved the hot tub after a long day of skiing. The beds were comfortable. The home was very clean and well stocked with all the appliances and dishware anyone would need. The bus stopping at the drive way to take us to the ski slopes was very convenient. We would book this home again for another ski vacation. The owner was very responsive as well.

Highlights of this great house include - skiing home, perfect location on the shuttle bus line, miles of hiking and snow mobile trails, wooded setting where you barely see your neighbors out of the windows, huge garage for storing gear, great kitchen, updated baths, convenient sleeping for 10 people. Absolutely a great ski house. We stayed here with 4 kids, 4 parents and 2 grandparents. The kitchen is perfect for making meals for a large group. We built a fire every evening after skiing home from the bottom of Vasquez (fine for 6 year olds - 70+). We hiked on the miles of trails and great sledding is just up the road. The owner is so easy to work with and flexible. We just had a great time and will definitely be back. And the hot tub on the deck is wonderful!!
